Word reaches me down the manuscript mines that there has been some discord in the Sevco High Command today.
Sadly, I have to disclose that it is I, your humble correspondent, who is the author of this disharmony.
I’m afraid that there has been accusation and counter-accusation about who is the source of the leak in these dignified conclaves.
Apparently, the source material contained within my reportage yesterday could only have come from within a very dignified circle.
I know dear reader that you might find it personally upsetting that Quintessentially British chaps would believe that one of their group would covertly consort with a foreign national in Donegal.
An appalling vista.
For the avoidance of doubt, I never discuss sources.
It is now clear to me that there is a faction within the Sevco High Command who want the South African based entrepreneur to show the Dunkirk Spirit.
However, he probably isn’t minded to Do Walking Away.
Moreover, Mr David Cunningham King still controls his local media battalions.
He also has the brand loyalty of uber dignified chaps within the home support at Ibrox.
Therefore, I personally wouldn’t bet against him retaining his pre-eminent position at the Holding Company Vehicle.
Today I was also told that a section of the Sevco High Command is in a state of alternative appreciation apropos the presence of an inter-galactic PR guru in the Blue Room.
It is with all of this in mind that I think we should perhaps view the recent departures from the board of The Rangers Football Club Limited (formerly Sevco Scotland Limited).
A Big House divided and all that.
I do hope that they can finally agree to work together for the greater good.
That would be nice.

Oh how the media forget so quickly.
It’s not so long ago that the previous incumbent at Ibrox, magic Hat et al, was being touted as a future manager of the England international team.
Those would have been the same pundits who in their pre season predictions picked the Ibrox club to win the SPFL. We know how that turned out.
Now we have Brother Pedro being built up as the next Mourinho, based on what?
He couldn’t get a top job in Portugal and has pitched up in Mexico and the Middle East to earn a coin without setting the heather on fire.
He’s had a fabulous meeting with the De Facto, Shadow Director, a man with a very colurful past.
Unless King has won the National lottery Pedro will be dealing in the same Bosman, free transfer market as his predecessor, the only difference being that the player names will be a bit more exotic.
Despite wishful thinking by Level 5, and Richard Wilson, that the TAB decision will have no impact on the football club it doesn’t take a genius to work out that the cost of the prospectus and a 16% take up by shareholders will divert £3/4 milion from the fabled warchest.
The Ibrox 3 and WIFI boys ain’t done walking away.
SDI is moving forward with their claim as per the recent hearing which doesn’t chime with King’s claim that a new strip launch in conjunction with SDI is on the horizon pre season.
Given UEFA FFP criteria there is no guarantee that a licence will be issued to the Ibrox club. If the SFA wave through their application and UEFA take the view that it’s a new club, first offenders, and impose a fine or transfer ban ( Dave will love that one) then the reaction of Hearts or St Johnstone, one of whom will miss out, will be interesting.
Unlike the Res 12 issue, where the shenanigans only emerged after the fact, the truth is already out there in the Rangers annual accounts with cumulative losses over a 3 year period, 3 times the FFP guidelines plus a going concern note in the most recently audited accounts.
If the Supreme Court throw out the BDO appeal the SFA have nowhere to go, though an unlikely imperfect solution may pop up…….something along the lines of move on nothing to see here, there is no appetite for title stripping!
Who at the SFA decided that King failing the F&P test was not suitable reading for public consumption?
But for Ashley’s court case the public would be none the wiser.
Begs the question what else are our fotball authorities keeping under wraps?
What a reflection on the guardians of our game that no one trusts them and the lack of transparency is not by accident, it’s by design.

Now that the debt for equity swop has been blown out of the water, how will the 3 Bears, and King?, recover the soft loans that they have been serving up, now around the £15m mark we are led to believe.
Why have Club 1872 bought shares at 27p when their directors, including James Blair, had been fully aware of the Takeover Board concert party investigation?
Buying shares in a company under investigation by the Takeover Board……reckless at best.
Will the question be asked at next week’s Club 1872 meeting?

Thanks for the brilliant work over the last week or so and the links to daviesleftpeg, whom I’d never heard of. It would appear the penny may just be beginning to drop.
Having poured over your revelations during the last few years and often had to research and seek out things which were hitherto beyond my comprehension, I also feel I have to thank you for the education as well as the entertainment!
As we now appear to be entering the final stages of this embarrassment of a club, your continued pursuit and brave publishing of their poisonous existence and everything associated with them, along with highlighting the repulsive behaviour of your so called “professional journalist” colleagues who have embarrassed their trade and brought about a terminal sales decline to their own rags, deserves praise and recognition of the very highest order. (Although, perhaps not a Knighthood).
Again, after much reading and re-reading along with many hours of scouring the net, books and anywhere which may give added insight into your work and astonishing accuracy on the goings on at Govan, I am left with just one question which will not go away……….Are you Dave King?
