When Rangers were in administration in 2012, there were several demonstrations at Ibrox where the supporters stated their vehement opposition to the possibility of liquidation.

There was no doubt that the fans feared the “L” word.
When the club was initially placed into administration, this young chap, peace be upon him, was quite clear about the mortal danger of liquidation.

Then it happened.
The featured image is the Herald newspaper printing the truth on their front page.
Rangers suffering a fatal insolvency event was something that the Ibrox klanbase thought was impossible.
Of course, my regular readers at the time were well prepared for this likelihood.
The usual suspects on the sports desks had soothed them that the journalism emanating from this site was merely a Fenian fantasy.
However, the reality was that my well-placed sources had assured me that the Craig Whyte regime would simply run out of money before the season was out.
Moreover, once in administration, HMRC would block a CVA.
Charles Green entered stage left with some seed corn capital of dubious provenance.

A shrewd businessman, he saw that there was money to be made out of the People’s grief.
He purchased the body parts of Rangers, including the stadium that John Brown played for.

It was essential to pretend to the Ibrox klanbase that the new Rangers (originally called Sevco Scotland Limited) were indeed the original Rangers (Est 1872) and that nothing of significance had really happened.
The Stenography Corps were on hand to assist with the denial.
Gloriously Orwellian concepts then emerged like “holding company vehicle” and, my particular favourite, “engine room subsidiary”.
A decade on the Stenography Corps on Planet Fitba know the rules.
They must pretend that liquidation didn’t happen.
Indeed, it is an essential requirement of working in the media.
Therefore, it was interesting to see the reaction to journalist Ronan Murphy when he simply stated the truth in a Tweet that THIS Rangers is only ten years old.

This simple statement of fact is utterly verboten in Fair Caledonia by anyone in football journalism.
The local media know that there are Orwellian rules in place apropos the truth.
Sadly, it opened the flood gates, and the Ibrox klanbase has targeted journalist Ronan Murphy.

It is worth re-stating that the Ibrox klanbase aren;’t just touchy, they’re in your face racists.
That’s especially true if the focus of their ire happens to be of this island with anti-Irish racism usually in evidence.

Ronan Murphy’s crime was to tell the truth while being Irish.
The members of the Stenography Corps who are not at the unfortunate end of the bell curve know full well what happened in the summer of 2012 when the CVA was rejected.
However, their paycheque is based on a lie that Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson would struggle to deliver with a straight face.

Two days on, the fragile souls in the Ibrox klanbase are still smarting from a brief outbreak of facts.
It is just as well that the Stenography Corps are mindful of their feelings.

I was reading James Forest previously and he’s calling for Celtic to ask for a refereeing review and also asking for the Club to make enquiries into refereeing selections. He states that the Celtic should be asking for these ‘after’ a winning season, that way they cannot claim Celtic are just bad losers and are causing a fuss for no good reason.
I’ve just rewatched two penalty incidents from todays 90 minutes and I’ve no doubt whatsoever that IF they were in the opposing penalty area they would 100% be given.
Celtic need to stop hiding and at least attempt to make these changes over the summer, no more silence, they should start a shitstorm and follow all points through to a conclusion that sorts this refereeing nonsense once and for all.
The board now know that they’ve been in a partnership with the devil, they do not care for anyone or anything and it’s there for the whole World to see. NO respect.
NO MORE O.F. it’s as dead as a dodo 🦤 thankfully
That lot already have a formal complaint for today’s match going into the sfa about incidents with their support and ours occurring after the game, still not to many details about it. So, why can our board not react immediately to these type of things and the many other they drag the whole game down with? NO respect.
Time to act, no talk.
The board must recognise they (that lot) are not worthy to be associated with and recall everything they have done to blight the name of Scottish Football. Too many instances to mention here, but recently the leagues sponsorship deal with Cinch that they have ignored, hampered and showed general disdain for anything that they do not want nor like.
Thanks Phil🇮🇪
Love your words Phil.
the zombies ar delusional tic toc laugh at them it brings oot ther sunny side heh heh aint huns dumb
Just curious, how feckin long does a liquidation process take ?
Charles Green states he bought the ‘history’….ergo 54 titles were bought n paid for … under no plausible rhetoric can they claim they’ve won fifty five..(.I refuse to type this in numerics)……
54 were bought…54 were bought…54 were bought from an old deceased club.
Out of the 54 , how many were as a result of cheating…..EBTs , DOSs, opposition, lying down , referee bias, or downright corruption….
Did I mention that 54 titles were bought….
.not won !
This version of ‘Rangers’ – and any future versions – will ALWAYS be a stain on the Scottish national sport.
A perennial reminder of when the SFA, SPFL/(SPL&SFL), and the 41 clubs (excluding Raith Rovers), blatantly cheated ALL those who support Scottish football – from juvenile level to amateur level to professional level.
And football supporters are like elephants – they never forget!
When I encounter Rangers fans on social media claiming that it’s the same club I ask them 2 simple questions:
1) It it’s the same club why did they have to start the following season in the 4th tier of Scottish football after finishing 2nd in the SPFL the previous season?
2) If it’s the same club why were the players allowed to walk away without the club being able to demand a transfer fee?
These 2 questions normally bring a sudden end to the argument.
Love it 😂
I’ve advised ‘all kinds’ of individuals over the years that Sevco’s 1st ever game was against Brechin on 29th July 2012. This as a direct result of the heinous 5-way (6-way if you include Celtic PLC, and you should) which was a last ditch scam intended to fool ‘everyone’. Us Tims are not so daft. Sevco changed its name to The Rangers Football Club Limited, 2 days after Sevco Scotland Limited played Brechin. This is all easily verifiable. You can ‘google’ “Brechin vs Sevco 2012” There’s an article from The Guardian however, The Guardian article in places comes out with the myth lie too. Probably took the SFA/SPL’s word for things when, as journalists, they should have dug deeper.
It should also be noted that TWO “rangers” were extant for a while, the original and the copy. WE KNOW THE TRUTH. It’s high time we ‘published’ it anywhere we can.
Come On You Bhoys In Green tomorrow, bury them!
