When Mr Let’s Go was given two strikers, it was based on the assumption that the Colombian would be sold to balance the books.
However, that hasn’t worked out so far.

There is a new game on Planet Fitba.
Alfred Bingo.

At this stage I couldn’t list all of the clubs that the huffy hitman has been…err…” linked” with.
A cynical person might conclude that this was all PR generated pish to flush out a real bid from an actual football club.
I, however, couldn’t possibly comment.
So please, someone, sign him!
If no one wants Alfie, then someone else has to go from Sevco.
Fortunately, Leeds United do want Ryan Kent.

My information is that £15m is the ceiling for the Elland Road outfit.
I expect that if the sale does go through for it to be an undisclosed fee.
However, expect the usual suspects in the Stenography Corps to be briefed that the Sevco has brought in a Kieran Tierney or Moussa Dembélé quantum.
The negotiations appear to be stuck on the structured payments.
Sevco needs money up front without any delay.
The Yorkshire club knows that the Ibrox outfit is financially distressed and the offer for the winger is time-sensitive.
When one of your supporters is posting this on a dignified message board, then it is just another straw in the wind.

Anyway, dear reader, I’m away back down the Word Mines.
For the avoidance of doubt, all of my characters in the sequel to The Squad are like the offers for Alfie:
Fictional.
In the meantime, there is a full Stenography Warning in Place.
Stay safe and ignore irresponsible idiots who think that erudite is a type of household adhesive.

Covid19 is not messing around.

What player!! All those clubs trying to out-muscle each other for his signature.
The bidding war which will surely ensue should see sevco get AT LEAST a nine figure fee.
The sale of Morelos would be easy for Rangers to justify – an overweight, out of form, unsettled player who they have made a profit on.
If Kent is sold, they would have to explain why they have weakened the team at a time when they are desperate to stop another Celtic title. It should also raise a few awkward questions about the state of the finances at Ibrox.
I sent you something written that I should not have sent. Mea culpa. Some time in the future, mabye never, it could be discussed over a pint of the black. I will struggle on, because everybody deserves a second chance.
It seems strange that Leeds baulked at paying £5m for Kent last year but will triple that this year.
I know they’re now EPL but Kent had, I believe, 0 assists last season. Mind you watching him against Livi, he had a simple pass for a team-mate to tap in but shot himself and missed. His goalscoring record is no great shakes given this selfishness.
Leeds also appear to have the option of Harry Wilson, who has done well on loan in the Championship and looks a far classier player.
“The Yorkshire club knows that the Ibrox outfit is financially distressed ” so instead of offering less than that outfit vastly overpaid for him 12 months ago , and considering he has done very little to justify that 7m tag they are willing to offer up to 15m for him ? Let’s also ignore they (if they are interested) are in a one horse race for his signature so have no need to outbid anyone else. This really doesn’t add up , does it.
