Yesterday was the day that Sevco were put on notice.
The message from the SPFL was clear.
Quite simply if Sevco are in possession of damning evidence, then they should produce it.
Neil Doncaster was on various media platforms yesterday stating the same thing.
I am told that the SPFL was also briefing major media organisations yesterday on an off the record basis.
My information is that the football body privately stated that any allegations of “wrongdoing” being made by the Sevco High Command are, and I’m paraphrasing here, “horse shit”.
Hard to disagree with Mr Spiers here.
Serious allegations require serious evidence.
However, there is an evidential threshold that must be passed before an individual or an organisation can be safely accused.
For example, a document can only be considered documentary evidence if it has been independently verified.
The fantasy invoice that emerged today was immediately rubbished by sources close to Dens Park when I contacted them this afternoon.
For the avoidance of doubt, I am sure that no one at Ibrox had anything to do with this work experience forgery.
Moreover, I’m sure that no one close to the Blue Room would even consider it as evidence.
During this embarrassing standoff, no one should assume that the Sevco High Command are unified behind their interim chairman.
At least one chap in the Blue Room thinks that the man who currently sits at the head of the table has his own business worries to preoccupy him.
Here are some questions that should be asked of the Sevco High Command:
What is the size of current pay deferment being taken by the first-team squad?
Is it more than 50%?
Is it as high as 100%?
Will the players receive all of that deferred pay when the current period of deferment ends?
Will they be asked to agree to a further period of deferment if football is still in lockdown?
Was it agreed with the players that they would be paid their deferred wages once football matches had resumed?
Does the club have the funds to pay these monies in one lump sum?
Of course, the Sevco High Command have the benefit of a succulently obedient media on Planet Fitba.
It was ever thus.

So what is everyone worried about? IF they are so sure the evidence is ” horse shit” then why the sudden messages, from people who have never once made such comments before. Why are they crawling out the woodwork now? Clearly if Sevco published the evidence before an independent inquiry the GFA/SPFL would rubbish it and sweep it under the carpet. The ONLY way to clear this up and put everyone’s mind at rest, is to hold the independent inquiry and see where that takes us.
What have Celtic and Lawwel got to lose? They clear their name or are shown to be complicit. The only reason for them to rubbish the inquiry is because they are ” horse shit ” scared of the outcome.
The smoke screen of costs shows how penny pinching these clowns really are. They could have given money to the clubs without the blackmail of finishing the league even being mentioned. Are Celtic that desperate for a tainted title?
Doncaster and MacLennon suddenly pop up when things get sticky, does that not show they are ” horse shit ” scared they will be exposed? IF they have nothing to fear then they should be more than willing to hold an inquiry simply to clear their own names.
Dundee getting incentives to change their vote was admitted by Dundee themselves and that alone is grounds for someone outwith the clique to take a look at a corrupt voting system.
This whole fiasco stinks and giving Celtic a tainted title is at the bottom of it all.

Deadco had twenty five years of tainted trophies under DM. I haven’t heard a word of complaint, admission or apology from anyone connected in any way to either the dead club or the new, soon to be dead club.
They’ve probably just mislaid the dossier with the evidence. I suggest that they look in the safe place where they’re keeping the proof of the racist abuse of wee Freddy.
As for any inquiry. Give them their inquiry but make it clear that if their allegations are found to be groundless, as they will be, they will bear the entire cost and will be charged with bringing the game into disrepute. In other words, have the cajones to put your money and reputation where your sizeable mouth is.

Remember just before the demands and statements kicked into overdrive they were insinuating that Dundee had been offered inducements regards “high profile glamour friendlies/pre season kick abouts”?
All their media puppets were at it, Alistair McCoist Ltd spouted it on Talksport, £569,000.00 TAX FREE Alex Rae spouted it on Clyde and various others chimed in and repeated it.
They publicly insinuated that Celtic were offering inducements. None of it was challenged, it wasn’t questioned. It was pumped out there to stir up their only currency, naked hatred.
Now, how amusing would it be if a WhatsApp group chat extract had existed that showed that there were in actual fact, nudge nudge – wink wink, inducements after all?
What if the inducements to the members of the WhatsApp group who were being “coerced” into voting “NO” came from another club who fancy themselves as a bit of glamour and dignified prestige?
What if the “bullying” in the back room dealing over the vote came from a source who doth protest a tad too much?
“Coercion”, “Bullying”, “Threats” etc etc etc
In the last thirty years of Scottish football what is the geographical source point of all of the above? Whom (plural) did the media turn a blind eye to and whom did they try to shout down on their behalf?
Compare and contrast;
After sworn legal evidence in The Supreme Court, Celtic ask for a review. The SPFL agree, but The SFA don’t want to ”rake over old coals” and the media, to a man/woman, line up to tell Celtic to shut up and move on. Remember – The Supreme Court, sworn evidence by people involved in part of The Great Scottish Football Swindle and the media helped get that kicked into touch.
Sevco, who simply don’t want Celtic to win the league, throw innuendo, insinuations, threats and lunacy in equal measure every single time they need to fool their own customer base to empty their pockets some more whilst bringing the game repeatedly into disrepute. What do the media do? They back them to the hilt immediately and don’t question any of the madness. They further the cause of this madness, they fuel it, they extend it, they endorse it.
There is not one single sane person who can dispute this, but those unhinged lunatics genuinely believe that they are the victims. I include the overwhelming majority of the media in Scotland in that sentiment. They can’t help it, it’s in their hate filled racist and bigoted DNA and they don’t know it because this peculiar country excuses and turns a blind eye to their behaviour.
This has to end and it’s going to take a brave few to ignore the threats and step up to the plate to put an end to this twisted nonsense.
Have to agree with Bob. There should be no place in the world of sport for the existence of sevco. There should be no place in society for the immoral presence of their followers who offer only hate, violence, bigotry etc. This is the 21st century. It’s time to publicly denounce them throughout the social media spectrum for what they truly represent. Scotlands Shame should be constrained to the annals of history and nothing more.

I wouldn’t want them anywhere near my club. As much as it would be hilarious to see Edmiston Dr. turned into Co-Op or Asda or a Holiday Inn, there possibly needs to be somewhere for them, so they leave the rest of us alone.

I’m with the Mayor of Liverpool and not Liverpool FC.
Football is not critical. Liverpool having assurances that their fans will respect social distancing betrays a mindset that some think this club and football is more important than the lives of the elderly and sick in that City.
Liverpool FC and it’s fans need to get behind the lockdown in these times, not get behind football.

I would be interested to know what Insurers are going to risk their entire business Inuring rather expensive Footballers at the risk of just one player infecting the rest?
I don’t see them taking that risk myself so unless the Clubs themselves are willing to take the risk of players ,agents and families suing them by giving financial guarantees then ai cannot see how this can go ahead before this Pandemic is beaten,
