I was heartened to learn how seriously Alfredo José Morelos Aviléz was applying himself yesterday at Sevco’s prestigious training ground.
Indeed, I’m told that such was the effort he put into the recovery session the coaching staff advised him to go home early.
One can only admire such a work ethic.

A true professional.
Similarly, young Master Kent appeared to be especially focused on the task at hand.
Given his contractual situation, others in a similar position might have lazily shrugged and gone through the motions.

Those two are the real deal, for sure.
I suspect that rarely has such application been witnessed on the playing fields of Auchenhowie.
Overall, though, this must be a challenging time for the hope dealers in the Stenography Corps.
It is self-evident that Celtic can remain utterly dominant on the domestic front.
The facts on the ground are undeniable to anyone with the facility of reason.
That probably explains why the Ibrox klanbase are in collective denial about being simply the second best.
Across the city, they have rivals with sustainably a bigger football budget and an excellent manager in complete control of all football matters.
Consequently, the manager of the smaller football club will have to outperform his counterpart, who has greater resources.
Sadly, some in the Blue Room might not fully believe in poor Mickey B.
Personally, I’m rooting for the ex-QPR legend.

I’m sure that as long as he continues to have the confidence of club chairman Mr Bennett, he will be in the home dugout at the stadium John Brown played for.
The more I’ve learned about this chap in recent weeks, the more I’ve been impressed.
In the current situation, it would be easy to make rash decisions, even sacking people without much thought about what comes after.
Not this fellow, though.
Oh no.
Grace under fire comes to mind.
Sevco are truly lucky to have Mr Bennett in the big chair in the Blue Room as a lesser man might lose it altogether.

That’s another senior figure jumped ship at Ibrox, joining the others who have recently departed.
Good news is that the monthly payroll will be substantially reduced following the mass exodus but you have to ask the question why the departures and why now?
“NEW ATTACK Rangers ‘interested’ in £15m English Championship striker who is eligible to play for Scotland”
“Look on my work of fiction ye mighty and despair!”-sorry Percy.
I’m sure if Messi was available Rangers would be ‘interested’, who wouldn’t?
Their previous potential big buck players, Alfredo, Kent, have been allowed to run down contracts which will severely impact their valuation on the transfer market and at the same time financially impact on the quality of who can be recruited to replace them.
Compare and contrast with the Celtic ‘trading model’ over the last few years. The results speak for themselves.
Ah, but now we’re talking real money spend, not ratings, as in Kent and Morelos are worth a combined £25-30m, yet no-one wants them now they’re available for free.
“Rangers have had a £7m offer rejected by Antalyaspor for 25-year-old United States forward Haji Wright, according to Turkish journalist Salim Manav, who suggests the Super Lig club are holding out for a total of £8.5m.”
The Scotsman via BBC Gossip page.
All that’s needed now is a few magic beans to turn this fantasy to reality and they’ll be rolling in clover but obviously not the 4-leaf variety.
Aye and look what happened to Ozymandias. Reduced to rubble and forgotten about.
Another one has done walking away I see. Or perhaps they’ve been ‘mutually agreed’ out the door?
Maybe a bank or financial institution will give them unconditional loans on the never ever oh that’s right deadco had that facility now we have same club different named club we all know how that ended pretendygers and angry bears finding their true place in society enjoying their journey along liquidation highway leading to reality rd where you’ll find their stadium and the true meaning of ibrokes and confetti shares hearing they’re considering a new motto step up and pay or do your walking away
You have it all wrong, the magician master Raskin will make the difference or bring in a humungus sell on fee for the Ibrox outfit, according to the Daily Record.
Kenny Barclay the finance Director at Ibrox is leaving
So that’s Douglas Park, Ross Wilson, Stewart Robertson, Craig Mulholland, Andrew Dickson and now Kenny Barclay all bailing out of the blue room in short order.
I hope someone left directions to the light switch for Mr Bennet
16 trophies out of the last 20 shows where the real power lies…they’ll simply not accept second best 🤣…getting rid of a poor manager and replacing him with another poor manager with poor finances and poor internal structures only continues the cycle of deterioration and another director has gone….😎
“Hope dealers” 🙂
Do I detect a note of irony here, Phil?
