Well, now, that didn’t go to plan, did it?
The post-match reaction indicates that there is natural order on Planet Fitba.
For the avoidance of doubt, it is that all marginal decisions MUST go the way of the club that is currently operating the Ibrox franchise.
If that doesn’t happen, then there must be an autopsy on what has transpired.
The failure to penalise Sevco for a far more apparent foul on Rocky Bushiri than the one he committed in his own box on Colak seemed to suggest that normal service was in operation.
Certainly, that was the opinion of the Hibernian manager Lee Johnson.
Of the two red cards, one was debatable (Lundstram) the other was classic Alfredo.

Of course, the Ibrox klanbase, if they’re in conspiracy mode, have to find the ethnic angle if possible.

Just what is it about an Irish surname that triggers the supporters of Anyone Everyone FC?
I will leave it to the footie experts to dissect what transpired at Easter Road today.
However, two shots on target does not bode well for Mr Gio’s charges going forward.
As ever, the likeable Dutchman calls it straight when the game is over.
Unsurprisingly, this honest commonsense from the Sevco manager was not to the linking of some of the klanbase.
It would appear that they prefer seething rage at all times.

Before the match, the teams and both sets of fans applauded the memory of the late Andy Goram, who had played for Hibs and the original Rangers.
It puts football in perspective, that’s for sure.
Hibernian player Marijan Čabraja was bereaved of his father this week.
Like the death of Andy Goram, it certainly puts a football match into proper perspective and gives all decent people pause for thought on the fragility of life for all of us.
With their customary Unsurpassed Dignity, the Ibrox klanbase sent their condolences before the match.

It is by such generosity that they continue to win friends on the journey, dear reader.
Tomorrow Celtic entertain Sevco’s low-calorie cousins from Tynecastle.
Ange has never wavered in his focus that the champions just have to focus on their own business and block out anything else.

Alan Morrison of Celtic By Numbers has consistently assured me that Postecoglu is a manager that improves players.
Consequently, in his second season in charge of the Hoops, might well be Angeball 2.0.
Celtic has the largest football budget in Scotland, and that will not change regardless of the result in Eindhoven next week.
That said, failure against PSV could have serious consequences for Gio’s purchasing power.

I think that’s a good answer…

Lundstrum’s straight leg tackle would have been a Yellow if done from the front. From the back? A Red every time. He went for Boyle’s Achilles. As for the Columbian Balloon? Halfwit.
90 minutes from a possible CL exit for the Ibrox club and the big bucks that go with it.
A Celtic win in a fortnights time will open up a 5 point gap
Not huge by any means but you would rather be looking down than up.
Just like last time they will complain about Collum and he will not be given another of their matches to officiate .
Their pals in the media will wail and gnash about them being harshly treated laughable when they ignored the blatant cheating of Messrs Madden ,Beaton ,Dallas young and old .
We now await the mad rambling statement from them basically saying they are the people and this is not what should happen to them blah blah blah .
As for those post regards the Hibs players father it takes a special mentality to post such vile stuff .
A mentality that must of their support seem to have given the hate and bile spewed from the terraces every week
It does not help when the one of the clubs media partners openly hosts stuff like that online too
You only have to follow follow it to see the sickness
Usual seismic fall out when a result doesn’t go their way. Dissected to the nth, usual Fenian conspiracy lark, quantum amounts of media sunshine blown up their collective arses. This despite the usual dodgy penalty right on half-time, Hibs being denied a stonewall penalty, and Morones reverting to type, with the petulant lash out rapidly followed by righteous indignation. All to the usual backdrop of the vile “songbook” that passes for support. i was disappointed to see Van B back associated with them again, genuine quality player, and by all accounts a quality guy. Mon the Hoops
“…the natural order on Planet Fitba” may well be restored if they appeal the red cards. The name of the game is “football” not ” footman” and Lundstram’s tackle was so blatant I think it would have been a quantum leap in cheating had it earned anything but a red card.
Karma says that sevco get punted from the CL by PSV.
This is followed in October by yet another set of shocking RIFC Annual Accounts.
RIFC accumulated losses since 2012 will total an incredible c.(£120M).
The SFA’s Maxwell and Petrie will disappear into the Hampden bunker – again.
Scottish football will inevitably pay a price for indulging the Ibrox club.
Nothing learned since 2012: the SFA & SPFL are stupid.
As a Hibs fan, my only regret is not beating them. There are plenty of Hibs fans feel the same as you do, I think you know that.
Great read, couldn’t agree more with your thoughts and comments. HH.
