The recent judgement by the SFA relating to the events following the Scottish cup game between Celtic and Rangers are worthy of comment regarding a number of issues. One which I have not yet seen discussed relates to the judgement in that it appears to set a legal precedent where clubs are deemed to be responsible for the behaviour of their fans. If that is the case, what is there to stop the authorities from prosecuting Rangers over the illegal behaviour of their fans, when they promote and glorify violence against another community?
