Last week I wrote this piece about Sevco’s desperate need to sell players and bring in much-needed cash.
The centrepiece of this effort is Operation Sell Alfredo.
I stated that the Sevco High Command had agreed on a new PR driven narrative to finally offload the ample Colombian.

Consequently, I had to issue a full Stenography Alert.
The basic message that would be spoon-fed to the Stenographers was that Alfie was knuckling down in training.
Well, it duly arrived today.

Of course, the folks at Sevco know that they will not be subjected to anything that resembles journalistic scrutiny by the local media.
Just a little journalism would see Sevco pressers come apart quicker than a Castore top in Turkish blue.

One of the constants in the entire Ibrox saga, from the death of Rangers to the creation of Sevco, has been a compliant media.
The craven, venal nature of the Fitba Fourth Estate allowed the chaps at Hampden to look the other way while “imperfectly registered” players scooped up tainted titles.
Since 2012 the Blue Room has been a venue for a beauty pageant of colourful characters.
Now one of them is outside the Big House and agitating, just like it was 2014 again.

That is a scenario that presents the Steogrpahy Cops with a difficult decision.
They must decide if they go with Mr King or the incumbents in the Blue Room.

Reportedly Arsenal have offered £20m for big Eddie, to be paid over FOUR years. We sold Dembele for £20m two years ago and he has been repeatedly linked with a £50m move to Man Utd. Eddie IS A BETTER player than Dembele and will get better still.
Let’s look at this. We paid £10m for him and have probably forked out north of £3m in wages so far.
We would be the best part of THREE YEARS into Arsenal’s proposed deal before we BROKE EVEN.
I sincerely hope PL tells them to go and take a flying fuck tae themselves and come back when they’re serious.
Lawwell won’t be entertaining anyone for less than £30m for Édouard.
PSG have a sell on percentage also so I would expect the Club probably want closer to £40m in the current market.
My personal opinion is Ajeti was signed quickly as a fail safe should a bid matching our price come in.
I also doubt he will accept anything over such an extended period.
Especially from Clubs in England.
The Ayebrokes accounts are going to read like an accident report from a Motorway Pile up if they don’t shift someone soon for big money.
⏰… .. . ……. . .. . 💣
Oh, to be a fly on the wall at Ibrox just now – for the meetings with the Campbell Dallas auditors.
Separate to the assorted, Going Concern red flags last year – RIFC managed to avoid including a £ amount in the Notes to the Accounts for Big Mike’s outstanding claim, which was helpful.
It’s going to be grim(mer ?) reading this year too. 🙂
Nothing they do now will will have any effect on the accounts we’re waiting on. Any income now will appear in the next set of accounts.
I have to say that I agreed with the slippy ones assessment on that tackle, you can see that he tried to pull out of it (I know, I was also taught never pull out, of a tackle, you’ll get injured) I also agree that retrospective punishment would have went El Buffaloes way.
What’s the chances of selling him now there’s a hole punched in his thigh? Injured for a wee while, play with stitches? Or does the fat chap down tools again and say enough is enough?
Anyway, we did our job, all strikers on the park scoring and a great debut from Duffy, still didn’t enjoy Jamsie as a wing back. Ntcham was rusty at best, Brown showed why he’s still bucking the thought that he’s had it and was immense. Klimala needs more minutes and goals for a wee confidence boost.
With 4-5 first team picks out we will now see the mettle of the hun.
A couple of injuries and Gerrard is calling for more players, wow!
The Ibrox board find themselves between a rock and a hard place.
Satisfy Gerrard’s demands or see him walk. I wonder who is now actually making the big calls and who is tracking the cash in and out?
They must be praying that Sports Direct can’t get their case to court during the pandemic and of course the Castore debacle continues.
Melchester Rovers have dismissed reports they’ve made a multi million pound offer for Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos.
They have also confirmed they are not interested in a player plus cash deal for their star striker Roy Race!!!!
JESUS, Melchester Rovers! that takes me back to a comic called Scoop, I read in the late 80`s!
Well, if Morelos is not in the starting line up today, then it’s fair to say he is (still) not doing it in training – and he is even less appealing to prospective buyers.
And also, if Eddy is not in the starting line up today, then it’s fair to see he’s offski?
But the return of King?! Mental. 🙂
Always thought the Lying King was more likely to be a machinist and not an accountant.
(Apols to machinists everywhere. )
“Ripping yarns”.
Darn, that’s a good one.
And Kamara ( who didn’t get to play in the last 2 Sevco games) steps onto the sell everyone, anyone podium this week too. So predictable…
Not that you need to hear or see it from me Phil, but soon you will be known as the Nostrodamus of over by if not already…The one thing from all of this for me is, during these times of great global and domestic turmoil its alway good to read a happy story about those who deserve to be flogged being flogged especially when its by their own hand…
Many thanks.
I’m satisfied with the integrity of my sources.
This site is free to view and the work is there to be judged.
For a dozen years now this site has evolved into a Samizdat on Scottish football.
How many school jumpers from Turkey with an iron on Castore badge would it take to raise enough cash to pay off Dave King’s
£5m loan ?Just thinking aloud
Have I missed something, is the glob and shameless one back?
Don’t think he ever left
As long as he’s got “skin in the game”, he won’t!!
