I’m told that the Sevco High Command were less than Zenlike at your humble correspondent recently.
Apparently, they thought it was unhelpful of me to mention the whereabouts and travel arrangements of Señor Alfredo José Morelos Aviléz.

So, it was good to see him back from Colombia and out of quarantine looking suitably svelte and ready for action.

I must say he does rather cut a dash in that new Castore training gear.
Just as well that supplies of this high-grade apparel arrived in time for the promo video.
Of course, Sevco has a big season in front of them and being simply the second best doesn’t come easy.
It goes without saying that in the Covid19 dispensation health and safety is paramount.
I’m told that Celtic are testing their players daily.
It is an expensive business.
However, it is non-negotiable.
For example, I cannot imagine that any club in the SPFL would be so cavalier as to think that they could get away with only testing, say, twice-weekly because of cost issues.
No, I don’t believe that would happen.
As for the Colombian superstar, much of Sevco’s financial plan going forward rests on being able to sell him for a substantial transfer fee.
However, that is easier said than done at the moment.
The Covid19 pandemic has depressed transfer fees due to many players being released onto the world football market as free agents.
It is very much a buyer’s market at the moment.
Of course, the Stenography Corps are under strict orders to keep the feelgood pish flowing.

The Ibrox klanbase must believe that good times are almost in sight.
Where they to finally take on board the truth of their post-2012 Espanyol status, then the statue defenders of George Square would be bereft.
The poor dears…

Fascists have feelings too you know.

Any truth in the rumour Phil,
that the Blue Room residents are further raging,
because they’re feeling envious that HMFC & PTFC have their very own court case to progress?
The Rangers hasn’t initiated a new court action for weeks… 🙂
I see that twat Dominic Raab believes that the taking the knee gesture comes direct from Game Of Thrones.
The same Dominic Raab that had to be reminded of how important Dover was to cross channel trading.
Of course no surprise to hear a Foreign Secretary talking shit.
He’s now neck and neck with Boris in the race for worst foreign secretary ever and look how well that other twat came out of it.
Who are these people?, as Super Ally was wont to ask.
Phil on the subject of Hearts they are going to law try and get compensation for being relegated.when the season was stopped short.they now announce they will terminate the managers contract due to a relegation clause, would this be the same “unfair relegation that they themselves are challenging.
Asking for a friend
I think that’s one for the lawyers.
Incidentally, going the legal route almost always makes things worse, not better.
Definitely.
Aye. UEFA take a very dim view of clubs going down that route.
You’re right Charger.
UEFA will ban all Scottish clubs as well as the international side from all of their tournaments if the Scottish football authorities don’t take action against the clubs taking legal action in the civil courts.
The ultimate sanction would be expulsion from the Scottish Football league for Hearts and Partick.
This is going to get even messier!
Perhaps my memory on this is wrong, it’s happening more frequently these days, but was there not a situation with a team from Switzerland around ten years ago who went to court about something and UEFA basically ordered the Swiss FA to kick them in in the Haw Maws. A different situation though I think. Something to do with a transfer ban.
Ex-Rangers chairman Dave King blamed for Player family legal fight

Marc Player has broken his silence on the bitter multi-million dollar legal battle between he and his golf legend father Gary, blaming former Rangers chairman Dave King for his “mailicious interference” in the matter.
Last week, we reported that Gary Player was awarded $5million and the rights to both his name and likeness back from a company operated by his son Marc.
As first reported by the Associated Press, court documents filed in Florida showed the 84-year-old golfer – one of only five players to have completed the career grand slam – reached a settlement with the South Carolina-based Gary Player Group last month as the dispute was being arbitrated.
• Scots course to be reduced from 18 to 9 holes
• Rory McIlroy critical of fellow players
• WATCH – Ian Poulter gets tested for COVID-19
Marc Player, 60, operates the group. He is one of Player’s six children and his eldest son.
Initially, little was said about what caused the fall-out.
However, a statement published by the Gary Player Group this evening has shed new light on the matter.
Confirming the award of $5m to Gary Player, as well as the rights to his name, it reveals that the Gary Player Group has a counter claim in excess of the arbitration award against the nine-time major winner.
This claim, it says, could not be considered by an American arbitrator as he has “no power or authority to obtain the supporting financial information from South African, thereby opening a counter claim by the Gary Player Group, Inc. in a South African court”.
• Former world No.1 splits from coach
• European Tour releases hilarious new video
The Group further alleges that Gary Player has so far refused or declined to fully disclose his earnings in South Africa to “enable a financial reconciliation of the respective accounts owed between the parties”.
According to Marc Player, the man to blame for all of this is Dave King, who, earlier this year, ended his five-year reign as chairman of Rangers FC.
“It is with great sadness that both my personal and business relationship with my father has deteriorated to the extent that it has,” said Marc. “Anyone that really knows me would agree that I have always tried to help my parents with everything from the business to their personal lives.
• First UK golf club succumbs to COVID-19
“This has been a long, tiring, costly, emotional and tedious process pitting father against son. I have genuinely tried to reconcile with them and amicably resolve our dispute and it is a shame that we have not been able to do so due to their new advisor, Dave King, and his malicious and continuous tortious interference in what should have been a private family matter.”
Hearts are not asking for Compo. They want to stay in the top flight. SHOULD the SPFL not allow this and Hearts end up in the Championship, THEN they want compo.
Hearts have also stated they do not want Celtic’s title rescinded nor do they want to stop DDutd or the rest from promotion. ALL they want is a fair outcome that the SPFL can easily work out. The articles of association state no club should do harm to another member, well every club bar a few had done this. There is also the SPFL saying calling the league had to include relegation. No it didn’t,and even calling the league was wrong as all the other leagues have proved.
Hearts want a fair kick at the ball for themselves Partick and Stranraer. They also want ( but harder to get ) is a decent shout for the highland league teams who should be allowed to gain promotion. IT’S NOT ALL ABOUT HEARTS.
Read the league rules. The SPFL Board didn’t even need to have a vote to end the League. They already HAD the power to do it.
Please wake up!
The Scottish Government has still not allowed football to restart. It’s the Scottish Govt (nicola Sturgeon) calling the restart date not the SPFL.
The clubs have said they need six weeks to train and condition their players before a restart. The Govt has allowed social distancing training to start to facilitate this.
Other countries Govts decide on their domestic football arrangements.
Pointing to England or elsewhere and blaming the SPFL is moronic.
George Square beginning to look like a scene from Mississippi Burning. Another Loyalist/Klan/All White rabid mob getting uptight about a monument. Guarding a ‘symbolic’ statue of the British police force one minute, then attacking Glasgow’s constabulary the next is confusing. We’ve got a messed up sub-culture here. Everybody’s getting it in the neck including ethnic Chinese, anti Fascists, BLM, and of course the Irish. A trophy-less decade at Ibrox has unleashed something sinister. Truth being though, it’s always existed.
They’re getting angrier and more hysterical, (nearly typed historical there. In fact that’s probably accurate as well.) with each passing, trophyless season.
Another couple of seasons, if they survive that long, and the new club will be ten years in existence without a major honour. It may eventually dawn on some of them that the article written recently about the people who used to be the people no longer being the people, is actually true.
That description of them was right up there with Phil’s from a few years ago. “The trailer trash of a dead empire.”
Ach I think Phil still shades it.
For centuries the Orange Order have marched to defend their sacred Protestant right to walk the King or Queen’s highway.
In 1982 some loyalists set out to ‘defend the trees’ in Bellahouston Park when it was announced John Paul 2 was coming there to say Mass.
In 2020 loyalists are defending statues against something or other.
What is it about the Unionist / Loyalist Hard Right that they are drawn to defending inanimate objects but tend not to give a flying fart about human beings who are different to them ?
The news that should be worrying SEVCO and all other clubs is that Scotland has the worst economy in the western world and is heading into recession.
Fifty years in the EU where we buy French, German, Spanish, Italian products and produce and they don’t open any factories here, together with SNP running the devolved economy (Derek MacKay anyone?) and the country is shafted and bust.
The Covid19 payments and support have all come from Westminster. An independent Scotland would have collapsed. No chance of furlough.
Let’s get out of the EU and vote in competent highly expert people to Holyrood and dump SNP. They’ve shafted us. We are the worst economy, it can only get better. We need massive change. The Worst in the Western World!!!
Clubs will go bust as their clientele head for ten years of Universal Credit.
Alfredo will walk on an Administration Event for free. As will Hagi, Kent and all. Sevco operating in a recession? Don’t think so.
The anti EU crowd are going to get the biggest shock ever. Why anyone would think that leaving the 2nd biggest market in the world is sensible I’ll never know. The coalition of right wing Tories, extreme racists, unrealistic left wingers and the Empire nostalgic older generation are leading us down the path to economic disaster. Those who think that making a trade deal with the US is fine are going to have a rude awakening. Our NHS, food regulations, workers rights and environmental standards are all under threat.
Independence must be the future for Scotland, to let it be able to get our hands on the complete levers of power, just like countries of a similar population such as Norway, Finland ,Republic Of Ireland, Denmark and New Zealand etc. After independence Scotland can elect a government of its own choice, not have a Tory government that it hasn’t voted for since 1955 foisted upon it. The people causing mayhem in George Square the other night wouldn’t be happy with that outcome .
The Independence talk up really is ridiculous now. Scots dodged bullets over and over again by voting NO in 2014.
No one is listening to vote for snp then vote out snp after independence either. It’s a last desperate gasp for independence in the face of snp utter failure on all performance metrics.
SNP have proven to the Scottish people that independence cannot work. Well done SNP, you couldn’t even deliver competent devolution. SNP refused dozens of Westminster powers, they didn’t have the experience, competence or skills to manage them. Welfare benefits for example.
We buy Audi, mercedes, Volkswagen, bmw, Porche, etc…. and they won’t site factories here to build them, providing skilled technical jobs. In return they Also get free reign to ravage our fish stocks and on top of that we pay them billions every year to be in their EU. Madness.
We ARE out of the EU. No longer members. Get used to it.
Next up, vote out these SNP dangerous, damaging, incompetent, poorly educated, angry, untrustworthy, dodgy finance handling loudmouths.
12 years of SNP destruction to rebuild from. Scotland is rock bottom.
Fact free rubbish.
2014 – main issues -vote No to stay in EU and also get the most powerful devolved parliament in the world – The Vow.
2016 – Scotland votes 2:1 to stay in EU. Disregarded by essentially an English nationalist government filled by public school economic and social illiterates.
Covid-19 has shown up all the faults of Tory gov. from last 10 years. If you think Scotland can not do better than Boris Bunter and his crowd of incompetents you are not looking rationally at the country we live in or have a serious problem with self loathing.
If you’re still talking up SNP and independence then you’re clearly a hard wired robot brought up in an SNP household by snp robot parents. Just like Nicola.
Destroying Scotland and everyone in it matters not a jot. As long as it’s independent. Nationalist fascists.
We independently voted to remain in the Union. We are independent.
Eternally a failure, your self loathing is only matched by your hatred of others, from different backgrounds in the UK.
Amateurish attempt to point at Boris and Tories to distract from SNP run Scottish economy being the worst in the Western world.
There will be an audit of every penny SNP has mismanaged over their 13 years of Administration of Scotland once they’re voted out.
Cronyism, contract awards, Job awards, backhanders, graft,… will all be rooted out, arrests made, prosecutions and jail time done.
Gerry McLeod – since I cannot reply to your latest comment I leave it here.
Who do you suggest is going to take over from SNP in Holyrood?
‘Scottish’ Labour🤔 or the Tories😂.
Your responses are angry because you know Independence is coming – when not if.
You suggest locking up democratically elected politicians – sort of behaviour Hitler & Stalin indulged in – though I have no doubt Trump & Cummings (the real PM) would like to do this as well.
Hysterical nonsense! 54% of Scots now support independence.
54% of those who answered the question Support Independence.
I support the concept of Independence but robustly refute the idea Scotland should go running back to the EU for a lifetime for what is in effect Thatcherism.
For the record I wasn’t asked and I would be interested to know how many others who frequent this side were asked and answered the question?
Absolutely Michael – well said.
What Hans & Gerry McLeod don’t get in their anti independence rants are that many people have come to believe in independence initially because they have realised how badly Scotland has been served by Westminster – McCrone Report etc.
As you can see from this site they are becoming worried because they know it is coming – hence their increasingly hysterical posts. Many people now vote SNP as a means to an ends not out of any great love for the parties record.
After 2014 Referendum Labour has an opportunity but they continue to dig themselves into a bigger hole leading to more previous Labour voters switching to SNP.
Tories are Tories and just as Thatcher’s policies made Devolution possible Johnson’s English exceptionalism policies will bring Infependence.
There’s no anger there at all or rants.
Three months ago the Daily Record were pointing to a collapse in independence support with Only 44% in favour in a poll.
This recent snp bought poll of 54% has been manipulated to remove 7% don’t knows. The undecided don’t vote for independence. SNP get what they pay for. They usually buy a poll result before a conference.
Yes JP58, looking beyond your personal insults both Labour & Conservative are better options than the SNP option. As are the Lib Dem’s and Independent candidates.
SNPs Scottish economy basket case is an international embarrassment. (Global).
SNPs handling of Covid19 and the horrendous multiple deaths of the elderly in care homes, months after being told to protect them, was criminal.
SNP do not attract businesses nor investment to Scotland. Everyone wants to base their corporations in England. 65.5million v 5.4million people.
Scotland can not afford EU annual membership fees. Scotland can not afford to lose the UK £13billion annual subsidy over and above Scottish income from everything (oil, whisky, farming, fish,…..it’s all calculated in the GERS reports.).
That £13bn giveaway to Scots, pays for the NHS, 32 councils, police, fire brigade, ambulances, roads, universities, schools, colleges, social services,…. that money sloshes about in the Scottish economy being spent by employees of those sectors. Take that away and the economy is even worse!
The Government Expenditure and Revenue Scotland annual report is a scary non fictional read of SNP economic incompetence.
The SNPs own Growth Commission Report stated an Indy Scotland would suffer hard austerity for its first 20 years. But everyone would have to carry their toolbox around and work hard to make an independent Scotland work.
Needless to say there would be Senior snp cronies creaming it in in an Indy Scotland. Whilst the SNP Hoi Polloi work their backs off to be taxed relentlessly.
The TV debates destroys the Indy conversation every time. Savvy Scots aren’t that stupid or gullible to swallow the SNP lies. Opposition politicians get the truth across and the electorate understand it perfectly.
Scotland is uniquely too wee and too stupid unlike every other country in the world – an old 78 record that people have seen through
If we are independent the Scottish people can vote in whichever party they want rather than having a right wing party foisted on them from Westminster – it’s called democracy.
Your vote and my vote then counts as much as any other vote.
There again anyone that talks about jailing politicians they don’t like probably doesn’t get democracy.🤔
We’re not the worst economy by a long shot, Have you been reading the Express?
Spoken like a true serf loyal to Westminster …….there are none so blind.
It’s great to read the truth, I never buy any pro Sevco rags, I’ve got my own crayons HH

Again with the ‘sectarian’ chanting, who not just use the words on the charge sheet.
Wow. Stewart Regan appears from nowhere to have his kick at the SPFL.
Aye Stewart, a couple of hundred quid in your back pocket and you have the brass neck to give your paymasters exactly what they want.
Why is it that Scottish football, then and now, turn to yes men and nobody’s to fill the top jobs?
Look no further than the current SFA high heid yin promoted to the top post based on what?
A complete mystery and his performance to date speaks volumes as to his ability.
Was anyone outside the small cosy backwater of Scottish football interviewed for the job?
Apparently not, Maxwell was being punted in the media and duly was appointed with no other applicant interviewed.
Highly unusual for a post that pays several hundred thousands of pounds a year.
Perhaps his Chief Exec position at Thistle added to a highly successful stint in business plus a plethora of educational qualifications blew all other applicants out of the water.
Perhaps indeed?
What next? EBT Ogilvie, former Rangers and Hearts shareholder whilst in situ at Hampden, will be next to raise his head above the parapet with his own words of wisdom.
FFS, after Jim Black rewriting history on the SFA Chief Exec who took it upon himself to prevent the registration of Cadete, step forward Farry to give us his tuppence worth!
That’s the problem with Scottish football, tell the truth and you are persona non grata and might even lose your job.
Operation sell Morelos will shortly be in full swing over the next few weeks.
With his sale an absolute necessity lets laugh at the redtops as the fire sale begins and dozens of clubs are punted as bidders for astronomical amounts.
Of course it’s months now since El Buffoon last saw a redf card which will be sold as an end to his on field antics!
No football, no antics!
Regan’s last, “Armageddon”, prediction for Scottish football, was a wee tad wide of the mark.
As a journalist who prides himself supporting the under dog I am surprised to see no comments on the recent court case being brought by Hearts and Partick Thistle. Also strange that a normally vocal Celtic have said nothing from day one.
Do you agree that the relegation’s were unfair? Do you think teams being denied the chance of promotion from the highland leagues, while Elgin get a free pass, is the right and fair outcome of the season being unnecessarily called early?
Whilst we all love your digs at Sevco there are far more worrying and important things going on right now, so why are you not reporting this blatant injustice?
I consider the “relegation” of Hearts et al to be profoundly unfair.
Moreover, I thought that the 14 team top tier would solve the problem of calling the league early.
That was a solution that Celtic FC supported.
To my unperfect eyes their new training top looks almost a shade of green…
But you know it’s a r-agers/sevco top with that added splash of orange, yuk!
Very glad to hear you’re still getting to them Phil, please keep up the fantastic work, you never know, maybe one day the stenographers will actually do their job and you can address matters more of your imagination and get those word-mines in proper order🍀 G’luck
