On the anniversary of the Ibrox klan wrecking Manchester, I find it rather fitting to be considering Sevco’s European troubles.

I was contacted by a very well-placed Ibrox source today.
He told me that the Sevco High Command was “on the clock” apropos the UEFA licence for next season.
It is well known that the interim accounts of the eight-year-old club are significantly late.
Now they provide the essential financial information for UEFA regarding the year going ahead.
So far, there is no sight of these accounts from Ibrox.
We could be entering Resolution 12 territory for Sevco now.
For the avoidance of doubt, I am sure that the chaps in the SFA would want to avoid a replay on that one with the new Ibrox club.

Pundit Andy Gray believes it would be a ‘smart’ move for Celtic and Rangers to leave Scottish football and join the English leagues.
It’s bad enough clowns like Gray coming out with nonsense like this but the Daily Ranger deems it newsworthy.
How many times does a village idiot have to come away with this shit leaving them open to ridicule and mockery all round?
Let’s face it the Daily Ranger sports section is put together by a professional team of half truth merchants and half outright liars.
Ffs just the other week we had a new recruit who couldn’t even get the points gap at the top of the SPFL correct, probably being trained under the wing of a DR old timer with the advice ‘ don’t worry son, write anything you want, our readership is so thick that they believe everything we print.’
13 points, 14 points, who gives a flying feck?
Manchester will never forget, or forgive, the mayhem that took place in their streets when The Peepul visited.
I’m I correct in stating that there is a permanent exclusion order on visiting Rangers fans?
Although the behaviour was diabolical, the city of Manchester must take some blame, the pubs, clubs etc were quite happy to take the supporters money when they were opening up at silly o’clock in the morning all day and closing at silly o’clock. What did they expect to happen when screens in some areas failed to work, pubs, clubs shops etc made a lot of money, take part of the responsibility. I say that as a celtic fan
Screens failed to work in some areas and the technicians who turned up to try to sort the problem were pelted with bottles as they worked. Now maybe I’m stupid, but if a grown man makes a conscious decision to throw a bottle at someone trying to help him, I don’t see how ANYONE ELSE can be to blame.
Aye right, in Barcelona the claim was police brutality.
Like Manchester the Rangers fans are forever banned from the City.
Defecating in chapels is hardly going to win you many friends but We Are The Peepul and once upon a time we could do whatever we wanted to without any adverse media opinion.
Of course you are Billy!!
I actually think their behaviour over the last few weeks may have scuppered any hope of sympathetic input from SFA re UEFA licences. I’m still pretty certain that liquidation is coming. And if so… Would hearts vote to get rid of them and retain their own premiership place..? And if not, why not?
UEFA really want to see at least lip service to ffp. In short, no huns in Europe.
When oldhuns were liquidated in 2012 … relegations still applies… Dundee took the ‘club 12’ place if I recall correctly.
I don’t think I it would save Hearts but as they say… ‘exceptional times’.
I think that’s right. Someone went down, someone came up. Rangers died and Dundee, who had been Division 1 runners-up, replaced them. I think that’s what happened.
I am astonished that I find the tocic air around Ibrokes in last 5 years is horrible, never in my life have I saw so many people as bitter than now, they have took this to a new LOWER level, its not there fault its everybody else”s well everybody else never threw money away on DUDS (weve had a few) is stand up and admit your failings, also find that never thought to see most bigoted board ever at Ibrokes,
Jackson just can’t help himself. With the SPFL ready to confirm the league ended for the season he writes, ‘ a historic decision will be made to hand the title to Celtic.’
He, or whoever his ghost writer is, choose their words carefully.
Celtic are not being handed the title, they have clearly won it on the park, with a 13 point gap which was likely to increase if the games were played as Rangers challenge had wilted and died weeks ago.
You can see from a mile away what demographic his article is aimed at as no doubt when Celtic are finally crowned Champions the blue side fans will be waving the Daily Ranger quoting Jackson’s ‘ handed the title’ line.
Just when you think that the Scottish football media couldn’t sink any lower they do, with their one sided bias on the Rangers spat with the SPFL coming through loud and clear in every word they print.
As far as BBC Scotland is concerned the sheer number of ex Rangers players, many of them owing the taxman hundreds of thousands of pounds in relation to illegal EBT payments, defines the agenda and opinion.
The likes of Alex Rae would never get a gig outside BBC Scotland unless you wanted a one sided, uninformed, angry at the demise of his team pundit, who is happy to accept the coin and read from a script written within Ibrox Central.
Phil , the SFA will oblige and Celtic will turn a blind eye .
Why would Sevco be treated any differently from Rangers when the circumstances are so alike ?
Hunfuderry
Res 12 was all about overdue tax not being admitted to being overdue during the uefa license application.
I have no doubt SEVCO has overdue tax now but HMRC is allowing that situation during Covid19 as directed by the Chancellor.
Will Uefa accept clumpanies with legal overdue tax?
Regardless, Sevco will need honest accounts. We will then all get to see them.
Incidentally there’s three years left to take the Supreme Court decision on EBTs to the High Court to strip all trophies won over ten EBT years (big and small tax cases) by old Rangers FC.
Those trophies are illegitimate and world football knows it.
That’s why they have 5 asterixs on their Shirts.
Correct 5 EBT SPL titles.
A judicial review in Edinburgh wipes them out.
Accounts due ? No worries !
Tom English will see to them . After all , according to the BBC man the Rangers ( sic ) won the EGM vote by 13 – 27 , a resounding 31% in favour , which put the SPFL guys on the back foot !
So Tom will be quite able to conjure a set of figures that will satisfy both the SFA and Uefa .
How many years have you been peddling this UEFA licence not being granted ‘this year’ pish now, Phil?
Boring as fuck, as are you 🙄
Con by name con by nature just exactly like old rangers and sevco rangers International cheaters club, cos you used ineligible players when playing in Europe too.
Sevco Scotland’s shame!!
It’s all about the lost pounds, no club can come out without financial damage. The SPFL have made payments to all concerned and gratefully received. King walking, no kit deal, no match day revenue, up coming transfer fees, litigation from numerous parties all add up to in the Rangers mindset, everyone is against us we owe for the second time in 8 yrs min £40 million pounds out but Neil told our Mr Park no loans available sorry.
Forget 9 in a row it’s all about money, or lack off…and Mr Park go ahead and spill the beans on the 5 way agreement, as advised by Mr Doncaster, you have been left holding a dead fish my bhoy by David Cunningham King 👑
Am I the only person that would rather we gave this title up, its a shitshow. Would rather we took the prize money, divided it amongst clubs that could have finished first although retain the champs league spot as on completion of the league after the last game Celtic were leading, one point two points goals difference, who cares. Don’t want anyone questioning Celtics achievements, we will most likely win the next full few leagues, if we don’t then well just another two will do…..
Yes, Anthony. I think you are the only one.
It’s our title and everybody should know it.
Hail! Hail!
If it was called null and void, there would be no teams in Europe next season, pretty sure of that.
I don’t believe you. We have already been cheated out of 5 titles.
We are entitled to this title. No one believed sevco could have won it. They were imploding.
If we were level with sevco on points and their goal difference was one better than ours they would be demanding the end of the league and the awarding of the title. Everyone in the media would support this outcome.
Hun alert.
Divide the money with SEVCO?
Give up our won title?
The Celtic squad deserve their winners medals. No question about that. They won them.
The SPFL trophy remains in the Champions Trophy Room, where it belongs. Nobody won it from them.
Has the face painter been furloughed yet?
That’s reminded me…
Prince William spent hours last week looking for the tin opener…
His wife reminded him that the guy had been furloughed….:0)
interesting to see if they had to liquidate the holding company but have already started the process of shifting the current Ran2ers into the ran3ers holding vehicle? let’s be frank, they are not known for their perfect registrations are they!
There should be a watchful eye on that side letter…… I mean registration.
Would they receive a 15 point immediate reduction with 5 points more the following season or receive or 25 points reduction and 15 points the following season? Or is that for those offenders who are in administration twice in 5 years and or twice from the “kkklub”
Either way, it’s more or less guarantees 10IAR…..
I wonder if Hearts over relegation, Aberdeen Motherwell and Livi of European spots would be as supportive to the Manchester Malefactors then.
Phil weren’t the rules of administration events changed by SFA to accommodate this likely scenario?
Specifically for sevco not to be,… eh? Demoted😂 to the lower leagues,ie,stay in the premiership
Obviously I could be mistaken but Res.12 wasn’t made public, hence my question.
Resolution 12 IS in the public realm.
Moreover, it has been so since the Celtic AGM of 2013.
Please excuse my ignorance but,the rule changing for this scenario is already in place then?
making their seemingly inevitable implosion less devastating.ie.No ‘demotion’ cast down to lower leagues
Whatever happens I think there’s still much laughter to be had as they circle the waste disposal drain
Thanks for replying🇮🇪
Remind me again, who’s fault was it that they wrecked Manchester? I’m sure one of them was a big screen malfunctioned. (Wasn’t designed for withstanding beer and buckfast bottles thrown at it).
Heavy handed Spanish police maybe? Like Barcelona in 72?
It was Chelsea fans wasn’t it?
I’m imagining that is a final Sevco reached during the EBT years. The Klan on FF seem blissfully unaware of the financial haemorrhaging that continues under Park and initially King. They truly are the Walter Mitty fans of the football world bless them. Actually when you think about it if /when Sevco go bust again they have ticked off the one man in Scottish football who batted for them back in 2012 one Neil Doncaster. Not the brightest bunch are they.
Sevco were created by Charles Green in 2012.
If only they could navigate their way out of the Milgram experiment.
I’m sure everything will be fine. Sevco will have a full set of audited interim accounts, showing that they are in such a rude state of health that Celtic’s accounts look positively anaemic by comparison… wont they? 😂
Well they are not short of an accountant or two at Ibrox, though whoever draws the short straw will struggle to repeat the miracle of last year’s £5/6 million pound profit in the 6 month interims which, very strangely, turned into a £14m loss in the audited annual accounts.
And guess what, no one in the Scottish media thought that turnaround in finances was worthy of asking the question, as in ‘ what the feck?’
