If the basket of assets is having trouble shifting snake oil in Dave’s absence, then it certainly will not have much in the way of Castore oil.
My guy at Shirebrook chortled derisively when I called him and told him of the reports of a £20m payout.
Moreover, the idea that Puma and Macron were in contention is simply nonsense.
The former was brought in by Charles of Normandy, and the latter wants to concentrate on their rugby portfolio.
It is worth noting that the first two retail deals that Sevco signed were both crafted in Shirebrook.
Anyone who believes that a tiny outfit like Castore can pay out £20m has not been paying attention.
Of course, the copy and paste fusileers in the Stenography Corp were happy to regurgitate obediently anything that is sent to them from Ibrox.
Their core function is klan klikbait and nothing else.
For the avoidance of doubt, these are challenging times for Sevco.
It is just as well that they headhunted such a brilliant communications expert from the Democratic Unionist Party in Norn Iron.

As comments from some of the clubs and Speirs in the media about the dossier start to emerge it’s clear that there is hee haw evidence to back up Rangers claims.
However an expectant fan base has been left with egg on their face and immediately demand that the club picks on a couple of clubs who don’t support the Rangers argument and tell them that as a result that they won’t be taking any away tickets from these clubs for the forseeable future.
It’s irony lost on them that their is no evidence of bullying in the dossier but the first thought of their fan base is to hurt the clubs that won’t yield to their demands in the pockets by issuing an effective boycott.
I have an ounce of sympathy, just an ounce, for their fans having been fed shit via the media and furthermore led by a board who are not up to the job.
The proof of the pudding, if needed, is the catalogue of court cases that they have been involved in since 2012 led by the man based in South Africa, the latest of which may yet be the final nail in the coffin.

Robertson and Park both accused the SPFL of corruption, bullying and lying. They wanted DONCASTER, the Lawyer and the Chairman removed. It now looks as though they’re just accusing DONCASTER and want his scalp. The accusations appear weaker too.
Not a single shred of evidence in the Rangers dossier to support any of their claims according to the SPFL this morning.

Don’t be surprised anyone if a points deduction amnesty is declared for the duration of the covid emergency if it looks as though multiple clubs will go into administration.

I suspect that for the first time in the history of both clubs, they are coming to realise that allegations and proof are NOT the same thing.
For longer than any of us have lived Rangers/sevco statements, demands and allegations have gone unquestioned and been accepted as fact by the governing bodies. They can’t get their heads round the new reality that this is no longer the case, that their claims and accusations are no longer blindly accepted and allegations have to be backed up by proof.
I suspect that the “proof” will simply be a rehash of the allegations.

Sevco has claimed that Dports Direct were offered the opportunity to match the terms of the new kit deal and declined. If Rangers do have confidential material (a big if) from the SPFL then they, and their “whistleblower”, may be in some legal difficulties. They do not seem to pay attention to the law of contract, so maybe the European Data Protection Regulations have also passed them by especially if individuals can be identified. A journalist may have a degree of protection but they have none
In asking for a loan that they couldn’t fulfill the terms from with their own governing body; would that not set off alarm bells somewhere?
That’ll be the league they want brought down, I’d suggest.

Castore were themselves asking their bank for a loan only a short time ago,February,I believe.So,for them to be involved in sponsorship of sevco is laughable,I did see a letter stating that Castore did look at sevcos financials,but they declined sevco’s request.
Although,nowadays with so many Hoops fans indulging in jiggery-pokery on TwAtter I can be difficult to decipher what is fact and what isn’t.

The season has to be ended now and preparations be made for next season whenever that may start.
If Park and Co really had a smoking gun it would have been fired weeks ago with their media monkeys ready to push the secret dossier as definitive proof of corruption within the SPFL.
There is no definitive proof of corruption. The dossier will be nothing more than a repeat of what is already in the public domain but Rangers and the media will attempt to sell it as brand new information otherwise they are going to look like circus clowns and their season ticket renewals will take a hit.
It’s time like this when the media will be delighted to have a list of dozens of EBT recipients to call on and fill the back pages with their claims that Celtic should not he called as Champions by the SPFL but as sure as hell Rangers want the money for 2nd place finish despite the fact that Aberdeen and Motherwell can still catch them.
Of course the chances of that happening are about the same as Rangers catching Celtic!
