Celtic not holding back on Translategate

It is clear from their statement today that the Parkhead club are not satisfied with the response from Sky.

You can read it here.

Consequently, the matter is now with Ofcom.

I’m fairly sure that knives will now be sharpened at Comcast HQ on his one and there are a few folks at Sky in the firing line for this one.

For the avoidance of doubt, I know of the identity of one of the authors of this work experience shitshow.

Rather unsurprisingly, he has a professional background in Unsurpassed Dignity.

Do not be surprised if this ends one or two careers at Sky.

Moreover, I learned yesterday that when the Morelos interview was first planned there were a few in the Blue Room who feared the worst.

It is worth remembering that it was intended to neutralise Lamborghinigate

Apparently, it would appear that the inter-galactic PR guru does not have the complete confidence of everyone within the Sevco High Command.

I think it is fair to say that those  chap sin the Blue Room who were apprehensive about this deflection exercise have been vindicated.

  1. It is finally good to see some action by Celtic with regard to some of the disgraceful media output of late. However, I’m left wondering why Peter couldn’t have spared a few precious minutes to pen a response to SFA/UEFA re Res 12. I guess it falls under the better late than never category.

  2. Since their Sectarian and Racist song sheet at Saint Joseph’s EVEN just this season, they’ve been cited twice for racist abuse, and on a third occasion the FARE delegate was maybe not too aufait, with their GhettoBlaster Soundtracks. Sadly he wasn’t provided a translation.

This battle needs to be won and won convincingly, because it will make the major broadcasters think twice. I am certain A.Dickson has his eyes on the Jabba Joint, and has certainly “proved” himself this season. – The celebrity coach, is definitely feeling it, he is beginning to look jaded. He will know how this is actually being played out. This serious fire is beginning to be a full on bushfire. Results on the pitch and of the pitch not looking amazing.

Aberdeen should have won, Hibs’ road their luck but a stronger team would have held on. Hamilton will get thumped, and then an interesting night at Killie awaits. Injuries beginning to pile. Off the pitch, no offers, anywhere from anyone for El Duff and Co….Just about make it too the end of the season.

Fire sale before the season starts….No money bring any “Ryan Gangsta Kent” signings in. The Liverpool loan system not quite in it’s third cycle. McGregor, Davis, Defoe and the rest of the over 40s on big money deals…..Players listening to the same routines, again, familiarity breeding contempt, and plenty more “tactic boards” leaks

no later than the first round of EPL sackings………Terminado…… Slippy, KingCo, Jabba ra lot of them. Application III underway.

Sky won’t be as much a love in for RIFC then, when their Istanbul Icon has left the “backwater” of Caledonia. Villa will be all over him, or Fulham or Bournemouth and their affections will turn there.

Meanwhile back at Celtic park HQ, they will look back on this moment with Sky as the first crackle of the perfect storm……

  3. BBC Scotland has shown its true colours with the removal of Michael Stewartand the broadcasting of an apology to ” Mr James Traynor” because the former had the temerity to tell the truth about the latter’s role in the Morelos interview without Traynor having the rtght of reply! This individual spent over 18 years at the BBC each week telling BBC listeners that he was an Airdrie fan and that he “hated” both Celtic and Rangers.Changed days indeed for Charles Green’s right hand man. Leigh Griffiths wasn’t given the right of reply when he was attacked by amongst others Steven Thompson.Derek Ferguson and Willie Miller for an alleged stamping on a Hamilton player. Miller even continued his attack on Wednesday nights’ programme after Leigh had been exonerated by the SFA by stating he did not agree with the verdict and,in any event, it was only a 2-1 decision by the SFA committee. Why have these three individuals not been removed? Well two are ex The Rangers players and the third a closet The Rangers Supporter.

The BBC used to be a major media organisation and people of my age(67) held it in high esteem. Now the BBC has to ask The Rangers for permission to broadcast football in Scotland. Look out for the long standing feud between the two being settled soon.

  5. Off topic Phil…but…
That winning goal for Sevco last night was, imo, much more than just 3 points.
I am convinced that had we gone 9 points clear…then all Hell would have broken out at the home of Sevco…and Mr. Gerrard’s jaiket would have been on an extremely shoogly nail.
Add to that the psychological damage done to the players…and I’m sure that their season would have been over.
I admit to being totally gutted when I heard they had scored…as the fall-out would have been spectacular.
However I now look forward their next ” wobble “…and the ensuing mayhem.

  6. I hope this is the beginning of the end for someone of a blue hue. I like how we take the moral high ground and ask the the person who was supposed to have said this stuff gets an apology. I cannot abide him but he doesn’t deserve to be portrayed in this way.

I know they have a way of infecting people when they come from non Scottish backgrounds with little understanding of the true nature of the Klan (Terry Butcher as an E.G.) and I find it hard to believe this guy has any understanding given his grasp of English but I’m sure someone was there to whisper in his ear about what was happening at the away end from.the Aberdeen game he referred to.

I hope that same person now whispers in his ear about this debacle.

A thought occurs to me “Wouldn’t it be really ironic if this guy ends up leaving Rankers due to this, that he finds out he has been used from the inside to push an agenda”

Slippy was on recently saying others will drive him out, Slippy might be sitting next to him soon when he realises the agenda too.

  7. Well done Celtic, lets get to the bottom of this. It’s truly Fake News and was put out there by someone with an agenda.
Whoever he/she/they are should be named, shamed and sacked on the spot for their clear intention to smear Celtic.

  8. Nice to see Celtic F.C. showing some backbone on this occasion as a statement and complaint were highly warranted. Ofcom do your job and force someone’s purple pointy heid to roll. HH
