Celtic go into the international break ahead in the league, but only by the narrowest of margins.
That they are being chased by a financially doped phoenix club doesn’t appear to concern the world-class administrators on the 6th floor of Hampden.
Every other club in Scotland is living within their means.
Consequently, they’re at a disadvantage playing against Sevco.
The recently published accounts of RIFC revealed the car crash figures.
Remember this is the best possible gloss that they could put on the Sevco numbers.
The fact that they definitely need ANOTHER £10m, but that might go to £15m should have had the chaps at the SFA asking questions.
Therefore, spare a thought for the Serious Professional.
I’m told that when he learned that the Convict Chairman had authorised the Dubai training camp he was incredulous.
Apparently, Mr Let’s Go demanded the excursion and the IMpecunious Chairman was minded to give him anything he wanted.
Of course, despite what you read in the Scottish media, Dave never pays.
The King Conundrum remains extant in the Blue Room.
It is my settled view that the majority of the Sevco High Command wants to see the back of the Johannesburg based convicted criminal.
However, they have no workable plan to achieve that objective.
As I had previously reported they had agreed to start briefing against him in the media.
Consequently, I would be interested to learn about the provenance of this piece.

I’m told that it didn’t emerge from the usual high-Level source.
A cynic might conclude that this might have been a rather crude attempt from within the Sevco High Command to put pressure on Mr King.

I, of course, couldn’t possibly comment.
Now, Mr let’s Go has already publicly stated that his squad will need to be downsized in January.
As I had previously reported he had a sit-down with Mr Ross Wilson, the new director of fantasy and the ex-Liverpool legend wanted several players ring-fenced.
I understand that Mr Gerrard left the conclave rather disappointed on that score.
Of course, there needs to be a buyer before any player can be pushed out of the door at Ibrox.
However, the Sevco manager might not be looking forward to the January transfer window.
Therefore, I am sure that it is an entirely unconnected development that his representatives have recently been promoting the Gerrard brand in the EPL.
The managerial carousel is about to re-start in the most over-hyped league in world football.
Consequently, there might be a couple of tempting vacancies for Mr Gerrard to consider.
Then again, a League Cup triumph might see the leaking boat pushed out that bit further and his squad will be strengthened.
Of course, nothing ever makes financial sense at Ibrox.
The Walter himself said so.
Should the basket of assets prevail at Hampden next month then the chaps in the Blue Room, despite the ominous warnings on the accounts, might think that just one more star player will deliver the league.
That is effectively what happened after the victory over Celtic on December 29th last year.
The euphoria pushed the Sevco High Command to bring in Davis and Defoe.
In the end, it didn’t deliver any silverware, but it did increase the wage bill.
The sunk costs fallacy has trapped many shrewd entrepreneurs over the years.
Indeed, what has transpired at Ibrox over the last 30 years could serve as a case study in that particular folly.

Just waiting for Statement O’ Clock apparently it was a bad line from Traynor to the Stenography Corps what he actually said is “We’re flying high and heading for Milngavie” not Dubai.
Move along Timothy nothing to see here 😉👍🏼
Aye they’re saying its Dubai, but I think it its a work trip to Qatar to do a bit of labouring in the World Cup stadium construction site.. Closest any of them will get to being at a big event stadium.
Is it possible that in the two upcoming Glasgow derby clashes at Hampden and Celtic Park that Defoe will lead the challengers front line?
Will Gerrard be forced to sideline Morelos on three counts?
1. his failure in umpteen games to score against the Champions.
2. His temperament being tested in what is likely to be a fierce encounter and another red card frightening off potential suitors.
3. The chances of him picking up an injury which will scupper Kingco’s get out of jail card from the expected winter break transfer window bonanza.
I see one of this morning’s footie headlines is splashing the news that English Championship clubs are ‘lining’ up to sign a Rangers midfielder.
Nothing better than a host of clubs competing for one of your squad is there, fairly pushes up the price.
As it turns out in the detail it’s clubs interested in taking Doherty on loan as he can’t get a look in at Ibrox.
Ah well, that will be one off the payroll at least if a move goes through.
I suspect they will play him in the cup final to try and break his Celtic Hoodoo while hoping to boost exposure and value..
It’s the way the Huns roll !
I’d also expect him to not feature in the league derby on 29 December as they wouldn’t risk an injury to their star asset.
I think he has to go in January .. not just for the immediate financial reasons , but because if they did go into administration, they may recoup only a much reduced fraction of his potential value…. circling buzzards and all that.
An inconvenient injury spell in December would be the most comical outcome. No player and no transfer fee either.
Phil, how many warnings are you going to give them?
They obviously don’t heed a word you write, well in any positive sense.
Just let them sink below the waves and disappear for ever, PLEASE

Alfredo Morelos falls well short of the requirements for a work permit for an EPL club
He needs to have played in 30% of their games over a period of 2 years , he has achieved 16.6% – 4 games in the last 24 all of which were friendlies and none completing the full 90 mins , he has not been included in the squad for the next set of games so has no possibility of achieving the required standard . Colombia are ranked 10th by FIFA ,if they were to drop one place to 11th after the next set of games then Morelos would need to have partaken in 45% of games over the last 2 years . Morelos therefore will not be subject to bids from any EPL club . This should not be a concern though as all they have to do is contact Beijing Rehne and agree the 30m deal that was previously offered …………………………………….. failing that I have the contact number for Accrington Stanley
Thanks for the link – it is most interesting. However. Morelos must have a work permit from the Home Office in order to play at Ibrox so surely he will be allowed to transfer to another club anywhere in the UK, at least for as long as his current permit runs out?
“The move to Rangers was dependent on Morelos gaining a work permit as he has yet to play for the Colombian senior national team.
However, the Colombian Football Association are understood to have given Morelos a glowing reference and he has now been successful in his work permit application.”
He has a UK work permit
Alfredo Morelos has a work permit to play in the UK.
He doesn’t qualify for a work permit In the EPL. His permit is not transferable. The fact that the SFA granted him one is irrelevant he is still subject to the English FA’s rules should he wish to play in their Association.
His work permit was granted by the UK government. He is entitled to employment across the UK.
That includes England.
He does and has thanks to the corrupted sfa , check it
Victor Wanyama
I don’t remember a problem with Wanyama getting a permit. If there was, there shouldn’t have been. He made his international debut at age 15.
His national side were outside the top 75 countries and as such he was ineligible for a work permit.
I also mention Kouassi Eboue at this point.
Oh and can I just mention Koki Mizuno?
Imagine wee Quark the (BENNY ) from deep space Alex Rae quoting it on Radio Snyde that sevco are not in debt oh dear . Another top class BENNY in total denial of all that’s going on over there. He must be chasing a blazer and a pair of brogues with quotes like that . How embarrassing is it that it’s revealed they need 10 million bucks to see out the remainder of the season from January onwards as well as the DOSH for big MIKE CASHLEY and running at an 11 million pound loss this year and wee Quark says sevco are not in debt oh dear . A think wee Quark is a sandwich short of a picnic or maybe not playing with a full deck of cards . But hey when Kris Boyd puts it out there Morelos is worth £50 million bucks anything is possible.

It has always been Dave King’s hope that someone will come good in the transfer market in terms of resale. That is basically his financial masterplan although he has failed abjectly so far, plunging the club/company/engine room subsidiary deeper and deeper into debt.
There is no doubt that Morelos, a £1m purchase, will realise a profit but the question is how much is a club willing to spend on him, especially knowing the selling club are desperate for cash?
Historically, players from the big Glasgow clubs go for more than they would if they were playing for anyone else in Scotland – John McGinn, for example, was easily worth more than Aston Villa paid Hibernian and Andy Robertson was worth more than Hull City paid Dundee United – but that is often because the players at the big Glasgow clubs are seasoned internationals, have won a number of trophies, delivered consistently in Europe, often in Champions League, and delivered consistently in the big derby match.
Morelos has, so far, 4 caps for his country and missed out on selection for a major tournament, won nothing in Scotland, reached one cup final, never played in Champions League, scored 5 goals in Europa League group stage matches and never scored against Celtic. So what is he worth?
I reckon the above cv suggests a maximum £3m – £4m so a lot hinges on his performance in the League Cup Final.
Morelos’ suitors are most likely to engage in a panic buy or a punt. The panic buy will be from a club in the bottom third of the Premier League or the punt from a play-off chasing club in the championship. This might see the price rise to circa £5m – £6m but owing to the financial plight of the seller it stands to reason that any extras will most likely be incentive driven rather than hard cash.
At the end of the day, if someone is selling a car worth £5k and the buyer knows they are desperate to sell, the buyer will most likely offer £4k and drive into the sunset while the seller pays off his debts.
I look forward to seeing how this pans out but I’m interested to know what others on this site genuinely think of the value of Morelos based on his footballing credentials and the financial plight of the selling club.
I don’t think you’re miles wide of the mark in anything you wrote there. He’s been available for three windows now and no one has offered anything for him. But although we don’t rate him, the reality is without his goals THEY are fucked. Defoe will NOT last 90 minutes in a Scottish winter.
Training breaks in Dubai can’t be cheap but why stint when your debt is already beyond £11m? Might as well be hung for a sheep as a succulent lamb. If Nosferatu thinks they aren’t in debt then what hope is there for the rest of the peepul? 😆 HH
Would big Mike not just take Moreloss down to Newcastle in excahnge for topgate money? Leaving 2angers more in the red as they’ll have to fork out to Helsinki.
Wonder if big Mike would take him and call it quits? I’d actually love to see that. For two reasons. (1) The peepul would go FUCKIN APESHIT. (2) Squinty’s straight faced explanation as to why this was a wonderful deal for a “£25m” player would be wonderful to behold!!
Believe Dunfermline pulled the same fast one in 1961 before the won the cup under big Jock…booked Seamill to mess with the Celts. Hail Hail
Gerrard has moved from his 100 per cent assertion that Morelos would still be in situ after the January window and is now trotting out ‘the everyone has his price’ line.
Bad as the previous year’s financial were the 6 months in the current year to the 31st December could make them look good.
Kent, Helander and Edmundson have all joined the payroll, whilst improved contracts have been handed out left, right and centre.
Even the guy who produced last year’s 6 months rosy figures will have his work cut out this time around.
Their revenue is already maxed out and the Sports Direct quantum will be revealed in January.
Close Bros will be keeping an eye on the situation as well.
Good to see Maxwell and Petrie et al getting a firm grip on whats occurring down Ibrox way…….as if!
Any truth in the scurrilous rumour that Huns2 will be camping on the beach in Dubai?
Luckily for them, there’s quite a lot of sand in that part of the world. So that’s the acomodation in place then…result. Sorted. Hail Hail
So much talk about them winning the league cup…
I see nothing other than a comprehensive Celtic win and the first step towards another treble and a historic second nine-in-a-row.
I have no doubt that Morelos WILL be sold this time around , possibly Tavernier as well. In fact .. if a Morelos deal is already agreed I suspect he won’t even feature in the match on 29 December.
Sevco have a tricky run towards January. They have a glut of away games and could well find themselves a few points behind before the ‘derby’ match and a further three behind by the winter break. Add to that a league cup runners up place and possible exit from The Europa League….
… well , they might just need that middle-east warmth as it could be cold shoulders all round by that point. The whole Dubai training thing is just another indicator of their desperation to (be seen to) keep up with Celtic whether on the pitch or off it. We all know they can’t afford it.. but the very fact they are doing it sends out the desired message to the gulibillies and the fawning media.
I have no doubt also that the Sevco management noted carefully how despite them having a lead during the winter break …. they blew this and stalled as Celtic returned with a new gearbox and accelerated clear going into the spring fixtures.
Sevco may drop less points after the winter break this time around but I expect them to be 4-6 points behind Celtic going into it. So Celtic will he in a stronger position this January compared to last season. If Morelos is gone then it’s fairly certain that any chance of Sevco winning the league will have gone with him.
And then of course …. there’s Big Mike !!
It has long been my opinion that they only have to get lucky once at Ayebrokes to press the reset button on Debt.
Whilst I don’t think Morelos is half the player they obviously hope he is he has proven himself in Europe and the Domestic front THIS SEASON.
In fact if you go compare his stats with the much celebrated Édouard at Celtic he’s arguably in better form as a finisher if not a team player and technician.
I think a Club will take the gamble on him in January and I don’t think it’s beyond the realms of possibility that the £10m needed will not only secured but perhaps even surpassed.
He’s got issues with his temperament Morelos but there is certainly no issue with his ability to find the net.
Defoe has enough quality to do a job until the end of the Season and as Celtic have proven over the past 5 years or so you can cope with 1 up so long as you have enough about them in Support.
I personally belief it is a continued disgrace that the SFA have turned blind eye to a Club who haven’t posted a profit in 7 years and continue to devalue their shares in order to constantly write off the massive amounts of Debt that otherwise would have accrued.
Btw Phil you should look at the current state of Dundee Utd who I gather have a wage bill that’s 133% of their Turnover at present.
10 million plus may be achievable.. but Sevco will be demanding full payment upfront. This will never happen on that sort of figure especially since potential buyers know they are desperate for cash.
They will have to settle for either a much smaller fee upfront or a traditional instalment plan in which case only a few million at most would be generated in January. They also have to pay Helsinki 1/4 of anything they gain.
Selling Morelos will barely start to fill the financial hole they are in… a tiny part of their 1.2 million £ a week running costs maybe… and that’s not taking into account that they owe significant player payments themselves in January. (5 mill plus due for Helander, Barisic, Kent, et al.)
Then there’s ‘Lionels day of reckoning’ to come…
You’ll see more than Morelos departing Govan this winter if player sales are to be their ‘way out’ of this.
I’ll take issue with a couple of things there.
Comparing More-or-Less to Edouard is akin to the comparison between a beach-ride donkey and a Derby winner! Yesterday the commentator went to great lengths to tell us that yesterday’s off-side goal was his sixth in four games. In his last seven games big Eddie has scored five and had NINE, I would actually argue TEN, assists. He is a more complete and rounded player than the petted lip will be as long as he’s got an arsehole in his body. The £20m we got for Dembele will not buy buy Edouard’s left ball.
Defoe WILL NOT last 90 minutes in a Scottish winter game and they have no one else as back up.
Where agree 100% with you is on your SFA and Dundee Utd comments.
I’ll take up the debate and counter your valid points Charger in the interest of having a good debate whilst the International farce is underway.
You cannot compare the two directly as a Strikers as they are both different types of Strikers.
In my opinion Édouard is not a genuine lead the line No9 not yet anyway.
He is however a VERY technically gifted front man who I think is best suited to playing in a pairing as the deeper Support Striker.
I think he and Griffiths when he does return could well form a lethal partnership.
Morelos is a lead the line Striker akin to Griffiths but I would argue he has less strings to his bow as such.
He is a poacher as Hooper was at Celtic until Lenny started dropping him deeper (which affected his goal returns towards the end of his Celtic career).
So what we have left when comparing the two (and Griffiths for that matter) is his goal returns.
Now whilst Scouts and Club do look at the entire package when putting valuations on players when it comes to Strikers then goal returns are a key factor in this.
If we look at this critical factor when valuing Morelos then his goal returns at 2angers (a lesser quality side than Celtic btw) then his goal returns do stack up against not only Édouard at Celtic but Griffiths too.
For the benefit of any doubt Leigh Griffiths is currently 4 goals short of being the top goalscorer at Celtic since Larsson.
So he’s in good Company in regards goals scored.
The argument is he’s failed to score against Celtic.
It’s a valid point and one which I have been using myself UP UNTIL THIS SEASON.
This Season he’s been scoring regularly in Europe too and up against decent quality so for me anyway and no doubt those watching him closely at other Clubs this is proof he can cut it at a higher level than the SPFL.
As can Édouard and Griffiths.
Back to the Goal returns:
ÉDOUARD
Domestic 78 Games 38 Goals
Europe 27 Games 9 Goals
Total 105 Games 47 Goals
MORELOS
Domestic 90 Games 55 Goals
Europe 27 Games 15 Goals
Total 117 Games 70 Goals
There is the undeniable argument that Édouard offers far more in terms of being a team player and his potential going forward and I totally agree with this argument.
His Assist record is excellent by comparison to Morelos but in my opinion this is only relevant due to the fact Morelos is like Hooper a poacher by trade and so therefore more likely to be in the putting things away position than setting them up.
Édouard for all his ability does seem to struggle at times to be in the right place at the right time in this regard and especially in the 6 yard box when crosses arrive.
Morelos makes sure he’s there.
So we can back full circle to the debate as to whether a Morelos is worth the money being suggested?
This is circumstantial as a player is only worth what a potential buyer is prepared to pay.
In my opinion if a Club is looking for a poacher who knows where the net is then Morelos is suitable target.
His and his Clubs other issues may have an effect on the final offer but in my opinion when it comes to scoring goals he’s just as if not more effective than Édouard at that ALONE.
I believe he will go for more than £10m in January based solely on this years European performances.
I’d be shocked if 2angers let him go for less.
Just how I see it bud.
Édouard will probably go for treble that when he’s punted and for all the reasons stated above,
I’d be surprised if Celtic let him go for any less.
Our financial situation probably guarantees it.
HH
I agree that they are very different players and the wee man HAS scored against a higher caliber of team this term, however, you are still buying, as well as that poacher’s instinct, a seriously flawed temperament. Sevco fans are making a big thing of an improvement in that, but frankly I don’t buy it. It’s still simmering there. Several times this season he has gotten the benefit of serious doubts. No one has pressed the buttons hard enough so far this season but someone will eventually. I would bet my virginity – if it wasn’t several decades too late – on Broony being that very button pusher.
If he does go for upwards of £10m it WILL be this year’s European goals that have taken it there. However one serious temperamental blow up and that could reverse. Plus, throw in the distressed business and desperation factors regarding Sevco. That will have a bearing.
Oh he’s a complete vvank of a man but the fact remains and it is a fact he’s out scoring Édouard at home and abroad with a pish poor temperament.
Diego Costa had a horrendous temperament and we know what Luis Suarez was like at Liverpool and yet due to the fact they were both prolific in front of goal both Chelski and Liverpool persevered with them.
Both went on to top Clubs regardless of their horrendous attitudes.
Whilst I am no way saying he’s in that bracket or level of company skill wise he is still producing regardless and price wise £10m is not big money elsewhere.
I asked this question elsewhere bud:
If both he and Édouard swapped sides for a Season who do you think would score the most goals?
He does and has played for the weaker team remember and unlike Édouard has come up against a bona fide Celtic.
Not a Club masquerading as Rangers ( In Liquidation).
Taking these points into account along with his record at 2angers a Club DESPERATE for guaranteed goals with money to spend could easily afford to pay upwards of £10m.
Don’t be too shocked if it happens.
I’m expecting it.
This post is actually a reply to your reply. There was no reply option for it. I hear everything you’re saying and actually agree with most of it. However, although El Buffoono has scored a right few in Europe this season, Porto aside, they have mostly been against diddy teams. Could he cut it week in week out for a bigger team at a higher level? I’m not so sure. I think back to Harald Brattback. He was prolific, both domestically and in Europe, but struggled big time when he had to do it every week for a high profile club and HE had St Henrik trying to tee him up.
You are definitely correct in your assertion that £10m is NOT a lot of money in many leagues and someone may be willing to take a punt on him but I think it is more likely to be a Championship club rather than a PL club. It is also worth noting that he has been available for the last THREE windows and NO ONE has shown any interest. Other obviously than the spurned £10m a year that he knocked back because of his deep rooted love of Sevco.
Ach we’ll see what January brings. If I personally was taking a punt on any Scottish based striker right now I’d go for someone who you’d get for probably less than £1m. Young Mr Shankland.
I agree it is more likely to be a Championship level side with perhaps aspirations Of promotion or a top flight side trying to avoid relegation but it makes no difference to 2angers as £10m from Nottingham Forrest is just the same as £10m from Norwich.
The desperation at Ayebrokes will be no different from the desperation of these types of Clubs.
I had to lol at the so called journalist Gordon Barks opps sorry Parks . He wrote yesterday that the club from ibrox are in such a healthy position right up there with Celtic in every way and now back to dominating scottish football . Another BENNY writing an article that only the BENNY’S would believe. Sitting on debt of 11 million quid + whatever coming down the road from CASHLEY & Co and this clown is talking the cheating club up like there’s no tomorrow. You wonder how this massively FAKE NEWS gets by an editor . Never mind best squirrel story of the day is Kris Boyd and his value of Morelos at wait for it £50 million quid yes that’s right £50 million . Now a dont know what it is Kris is drinking and smoking but it must be some really top of the range stuff .
Another nice wee squirrel story in the daily ranger apparently they had scouts at a European game yesterday looking at purchases for January transfer window. Oh dear now did we not hear from Mr Lers Go himself just the other week tell us all that his squad needs trimmed down SUPERB FAKE NEWS from the Scotish Mug journalists. Also Phil I see the blogger with one name rolled into to one trying to have a go at your good self. Now your site is free to read and free to comment on but the blogger with the one name rolled into one does not let anyone post on his site without people having to part with a coin to this chancer. He does more tapping over on his sight than the CHISLING chairman from ibrox and a blind man’s stick put together . He is constantly out with the begging bowl for donations he obviously got some tips on that from the CHISLING chairman at ibrox .
I see another possible way that more ‘investment’ could be drained by the Ibrox club. There is a tantalising prospect of a second champions league qualifying spot in a couple of years time if results continue. The riches on offer if they could pull that one off……
if they can survive that long.
Our results in Europe could ultimately lead to their survival considering the see no evil approach to their financial affairs.
This is spot on Mike but a single Admin event could deny them a chance at it and present it to say Aberdeen.
I would interested to see what the SFA would do in the event of 2angers going into Administration.
Would the SFA be forced through the Secret 5 Way Agreement to deduct a higher points tally from them as “The same Club” or as I suspect they try somehow ignore this and deduct the 15 points from a “New Club”?
Interesting times lay ahead methinks.
A 30 point Deduction after all would almost certainly deny them that CL windfall.
There’s no issue with regard to distinguishing between ‘same club’ or not…
This was for s repeat admin event which would have raised the spectre of ‘continuation’.
This has a 5 year limit which has now passed… so they’ve dodged that one
The penalty would be an immediate 15 points with a further 5 points the following season … ie they start on -5 points.
SPFL Rules E3-5
https://spfl.co.uk/admin/filemanager/images/shares/pdfs/067_324__rulesofthespflasat19_january_2018_1518083042.pdf
Cheers for clarification on that though I don’t think Aberdeen at present will get within 15 points of them at present.
Not without some spending themselves.
I often wondered if it would be better loaning them a player or two like we did with Christie in order to strengthen their challenge that way.
It certainly helped with the Christie loan.
Aye, but a proper administrator would immediately start a cost cutting exercise which would be centered on taking down their biggest single cost, the wage bill. It would be sell off, for whatever they can get, the high earners and free the others. SG would also come into this category.
Agree with your loan theory.
You wouldn’t happen to be based in Newcastle, Mike? Just asking ye ken. Good post. Hail Hail
Lol not Big Mike Ashley if that’s what your asking!
Gerrard seems to be sitting pretty right now.
IF he wins silverware in December, then he can leave Ibrox as “a winner”.
Basically, anytime after a LC win he could have his bags readily packed – just waiting for the first decent offer from down south.
Forget Morelos: if Gerrard was to do walking away before season end, then the bears will spontaneously combust.
🙂
Wrong!! Shit disnae burn – it just leaves a horrible smell.
They might not, if McAllister holds as much sway in the dressing room as many think he does. It could turn into a positive move for them right now to get a Rangers man at the helm. It would obviously have consequences further down the line in terms of attracting loans and such but kicking things down the line is the norm with them.
I think that you are mistaken. Alec Rae let it be known last night on SSB that rangers have no debt.
It must be true, if Alec Rae said it! 😂
And Mr Rae is raging that the secrets out 😂😂
Mr Rae is less Arnold Schwarzenegger on steroids, and more like Derek Johnstone on SlimFast! 😂
Spot on Assessment Phil!
Brand Gerrard is definetly circling the epl clubs. The Ego, is so huge, they pr team believe he is top 4 material. it has taken over 25 players, 3 transfer windows, a financially insolvent trading business/club, a sycophantic MSM, and string of questionable decisions via, penalties, red cards etc. to help him along his way….and I may be corrected in December, but not single cup win.
DxB training camps are merely the last roll of the dice, to appease the Esteemed one…..His squad will be patched, subject to bids of course, either way, King Wins…. ” I gave SG, everything we could” “3 teams” etc etc.
As it happens and I have tried to source the article to attach it here, but the OptaStats predictor guys, had Mr Let’s Go, winning one trophy in his spell in charge….. the League Cup, in his SECOND season. The had assumed, he would be there for the 3 seasons, but would fail t to win the league in that time.
Gerrard, changing his tune, and putting pressure on the referees etc, does smack, of someone realising they have a one man scoring team, without whom thy would have dropped, almost 8 points.
Celtics early qualification is bigger than we realise, because they have to go to that last game needing something, the are so confident of February European football, a league and cup double they have not considered the flip side.
lose the cup final, the league is going to be an almighty anyway, but if the general shakes Feynoord up enough so they realise that the new rangers are as bad as the old rangers they might drop 3 points. and be patched out of Europe before Xmas, and then the gumtree sale in January. – (Also there has been a decline in the number of jan transfers year on year for the last 5 years- RW has a huge job)……
Gerrard’s people will want him out on a high to get an epl job. – A league cup final win, as predicted and then terminado, maybe the most likely outcome.
I think Gerrard will adopt the same tactics as his mentor – Mr Escariot at Leicester. I’m quite sure that Stevie has had an overwhelmingly-burning ambition to have been the manager of Accrington Stanley, Kidderminster Harriers, or even Slough Town! 20 pieces of silver, and The Dopey One (Gerrard) will be Joe the Toff!
Morelos is over weight and is a notch above Sam Cosgrave. He’s completely dependent on service into him and when that’s not forthcoming he spends the match huffing and doing his best to get a red which in Scotland is rather difficult for him.
Morelos will go for an undisclosed fee when the time comes, it won’t be anywhere near £10 million.
20 Pieces of Silver Steven?…I guess that’s Ibrox style deflation for you. Hail Hail
Sorry – I meant to say, 50 squillion-trillion, billion Dembelé dollars. My mistake!! 😂😂😂
Deludamol deliveries have been Held upndue to the amount being consumed on the south side of Glasgow hence this report in the Sun. Normal service will be resumed soon.
In other news that rag has a fucking cheek to highlight Celtic fans taking a non-confrontational attitude by not taking their seats at the poppy fest on Sunday then highlighting the singing against it which was roundly condemned by our own support.
I think this is King & Co. trying a bit of gamesmanship and one-upmanship, by having a winter training camp in Dubai. I wouldn’t put it past them to try to book the exact same facilities that Celtic had last year, just so that Celtic are inconvenienced by having to find another venue.
I do hope the sevco players don’t max out their National Savings accounts, because they will need lots of spendies there! If they behave themselves, may be they can sleep on the floor of the local supporters club there. If not, they could always ask the Dubai Hoops CSC to accommodate – after all, weren’t Celtic set up to help the poor?
Not sure Ryanair or Jet 2 fly to Dubai I’m scratching my head wondering how they’re gonna get there????
I can confidently predict that a terrorist organisation called sevco will be hijacking a Loganair flight in january. 😂
Bandito, I believe that the Waverly Paddle Steamer is available for hire, now that the tourist season is over…given the fact that their own season will hopefully soon be over, this may well be an option for the cash-strapped wee diddy club. it is moored just a short walk from Ibrox, so that will also save on the bus fares.
They better leave pronto though, as it may take some time to reach Dubai. If that is the case, pity that there will not be any big feck-off icebergs on the way. Hail Hail
