I would not be surprised if the current mood at Ibrox was rather sombre.
Moreover, the reason should be clear to regular readers.
Quite simply General Ashley can submit his bill at a time of his choosing.
Of course, the coverage in the Radar press will all be good news for the Ibrox klanbase this summer.

I’m told to expect a possible squirrel apropos Ryan Fraser possibly running down his contract so that he could realise a dream of playing for Mr Let’s Go next season.
I told my source that I considered it to be utterly far-fetched even as high-Level spin.
Then he reminded me that we were discussing Sevco and Dave King.
I have to say that it does seem quite mental that the current regime at could have manoeuvred themselves into this parlous position with Ashley.
They are, quite literally, as his mercy now.
Now, it is worth recalling the weapons-grade stupidity of the Sevco High Command since the Off Licence Putsch in 2015.
Firstly, there was the hostile takeover itself.
The King led coup forced a genuine billionaire out of the door as the club was within one quarter of breaking even.
Then they lost their AIM listing.
That’s something that they were warned about as no one would work with Mr King on board.
In the 2015 concert party coup, Ashley considered that Mr Llambias was treated with a degree of disrespect that made it personal for the Sports Direct owner.
Once the Sevco High Command realised the Big Mike wasn’t for going away they capitulated and gave him an even better deal in June 2017.
Of course, in June 2017 it was trumpeted as a great victory for King by the usual award-winning suspects.

In reality, Sevco had to shell out £3m to Ashley, although there was no mention of that at the time.
A part of the victory over the Sport Direct magnate Big Mike had his RIFC shares bought for 27p.
This was at a time when the Takeover Panel generously valued them at 20p.
The deal signed in June 2017 is so beneficial to Ashley that the Sevco High Command was moved to set up the car boot sale with Elite Sports.
Since then Ashley has slowly taken them apart in several High Court hearings.
Like any tactically shrewd commander, he didn’t interrupt his enemy as he observed them making a terrible, potentially fatal mistake.
Is a pattern starting to emerge here dear reader?
I suspect that the realisation of their situation has come too late for the chaps in the Blue Room.

It appears the GullieBilly’s can’t comprehend how Kingco paid £3m to buy them out of the onerous contract with SD signed by the previous board then proceeded to themselves sign an even more onerous contract with Big Mike which could have serious financial implications.
Cheers all round.
The Ibrox fans are totally in the dark as to what is happening with big Mike. What is required, seeing as the smsm journos have all missed this “ibrox scoop”, is a statement from Mr King explaining why, what appears to be a comprehensive pumping in court, is really a victory for the new club.
The fact that it is now four days since the judgement was made public suggests that even are struggling to come up with a form of words to do the trick. Can I suggest:
RIFC were fortunate to come second when they appeared before Lord Persey. Mr Ashley ‘s team winning all six points of dispute. The club will do everything it can to ignore this ruling until the damages/ costs are adjudicated towards the end of July, whereafter we will be royally rogered at a time and place of Big Mike’s choosing. Shareholders need not worry, the shares they hold are still as completely worthless as they were the day they were bought. Meanwhile, are there any brickies out there who could help out by throwing up a very dignified memorial wall. P.S. Bring your own bricks.
The Great King will see off Ashley well and truly in the next few weeks. How else can you explain £12 million to Liverpool for a player they value at £7 million. Loadsamunney!!!!
St Michael of Shirbrooke won’t close them down, He’ll milk them for every penny forever and a day.
I’m sure you have it all wrong, Phil, and that Mr King has successfully rid the klub of that dastardly General Ashley and all monies he owes the newbies will be paid forthwith. 😆😆😆 HH
Thanks for the update Phil,
Funny,I was beginning to think I wasn’t paying attention, when I earlier read about Charlton Ath. player, namely,Joe Aribos’ imminent transfer to iboaks…just add and ‘H’ to sweeten.
sevco seemingly beating CFC🍀 to his signature(ABSOLUTE PISH)
Who was, according to the article,a near certainty to sign at iboaks for no less than £20k a week!! The only defence that this particular newspaper has is;it’s an english publication,The D.Exp.
Q.£20k p/w seemed way more than they can realistically afford, but when has reality ever come into when speak of all things iboaks??
A.Never✅
This,of course,is feel good garbage(merr PISH)written by an english reporter, for the english;who really want to believe that sg IS ruling the roost on planet fitba in Auld Alba.
I truly hope NFL takes his charges to the nine, leading CFC🍀 towards a glorious march to the THE TEN.
All won legally and without aid(sfa,L-5,referees,ebt’s,masons,oo etc etc) from outside sources.
Then the only true question is,where that long run of titles ends??
Here’s hoping MASH blows them a huge irreparable torpedo sized hole below the plimsoll line.🤞🏼
I won’t miss them if they go for good,it’ll help bring Scotland into the modern age, being of great benefit to many.
