An unexpected change of plan at the Hummel Training Centre

I am afraid that the Gerard regime has not got off to a harmonious start.

You see, dear reader he thought that he would be part of the new set up at the basket of assets.

Therefore, it was decided that the goalkeeping coach and Mr Johansson would remain in situ.

However, on Wednesday Mr Gerrard thought better of that plan after speaking with his dignified assistant Mr Gary McAllister MBE.

I’m told that the Finn arrived on Wednesday expecting to get to work this week.

However, yesterday when he looked for his new Hummel training gear there wasn’t any for him.

Then he had a sit down with the Director of Fantasy and the Serious Professional and they told him that there “had been a change of plan”.

Obviously paying him off is a financial problem for the basket of assets so they offered him a place alongside young Master Murts.

I think it is fair to say that Mr Johansson was less than Zen-like about this development.
