A Ki date in Celtic’s history

For some reason this morning my mind wandered to a day in 2011 when the Big Fella and I were in Hampden Park.

It was his first Scottish cup final.

We had a brilliant view of Ki Sung-yueng’s brilliant shot from outside the box.

Therefore, my son was delighted when I told him today that Celtic are in talks with the midfielder.

Discussions were held early last week between the lad’s representatives in London.

This isn’t Heated Driveway Productions.

The Celtic suits were directed by Brendan who wants the ex-Swansea playmaker back in the Hoops.

Hopefully, this time next year the Big Fella and I will see him score again for the biggest club in Scotland.

Now today Celtic have a date with history.

  1. A day to cekebrate the performance at Hampden. Everyone in the squad contributed. Cheer up Paddy Roberts. Europe beckons and you have a part in it. Well done Brendan’s Bhoys. We are Celts and we are Europe ( sounds better in Swedish, Henrik), Hail hail

  2. Heated Driveways cuts the deal. Of course Brendan identifies the player.

You really are so misguided about Lawwell, Phil. Recognise his immense financial skills please as this is what is allowing Brendan to drive Celtic forward.

BOTH are responsible for our current success. Ki, the Ntcham purchase last year and the recent lengthy deals for Tierney, Rogic and Ajer wouldn’t have happened without Lawwell’s financial management.

    Wise up, Phil.

You are quick enough to recognise poor financial management elsewhere so can you please be big enough to recognise financial management excellence?

    Pep.
