Sevco being Pummeled by events

I am attending the NUJ Delegate Meeting this weekend.
Consequently, normal service has been interrupted.
However, I have noted some glib and shameless stenography on matters Sevco.
Therefore, I’m moved to put the record straight because the Record won’t…
My Ibrox insider sent me the following late last night:

“Hummel deal is worth only a third of the Puma 1 upfront. To get to where they were with the Puma deal circa start of season 14/15, they would have to sell, give or take a thousand, 200k in high ticket items. That’s either jerseys or purchases amounting to the same monetary value and that is adult jerseys.”

For the avoidance of doubt, this source is excellently placed to make these assertions.
He then reported to me on a Quintessentially British exchange between Lord Impecunious and one of the Blue Room brethren.
He related a tale whereby Mr King expressed his ire at his Transatlantic Brother during the Friday con-call. The convicted criminal in Johannesburg accused him of sabotaging the Season Ticket sales because of the article Johnston had given to the Press Association. Johnston countered by saying that he had first run it past a PR adviser in another Galaxy. Apparently, this elicited another barrage of fury from the Limpopo kid. Johnston asked for an apology to be formally written into the minutes.
However, I’m told that King’s response was less than parliamentary.
My information is that Mr Johnston countered by asking for the money that he had put in before Christmas to be paid back to him.
At this point the meeting abruptly ended.
In other news Celtic can become Champions today.
Now I have to attend to a composite motion.

  1. It’ll be a proud day for Liverpudlians if Stevie G gets the gig at Ibrokes.
I have no doubt that both St Michael’s RC Primary School and Cardinal Heenan Catholic High School will unveil commemorative plaques.
    Blue ones, of course!
    Hail, hail!

  2. King’s back in the country high fiving in the Annfield Directors Box.
    Moves are afoot.
Has the offer been made to shareholders yet?
When will Stevie G as new manager be announced?
Why is MacGregor not in the same traitor’s camp as Lafferty and Naismith as he also refused to TUPE over to the new club?
Scott Arfield and James McCarthy set to sign on Bosmans…. Wow!
    Has Dave won the lottery?
Statement O clock, with those pesky Hibernians cutting the away club allocation for a potential last day of the season 2nd place shoot out.
Oh the sheer cheek of Hibs. Be careful, be very, very careful, we are the famous Glasgow Rangers and won’t be messed around.
Oh come on UEFA send your auditors into Hampden and Ibrox and put the fear into them.
I suspect that UEFA will play the new club card and determine that the sins of the old club died with them so no action will be taken on their part despite the same old faces being around the table.
The SFA will sine die the Rangers officials who lied on the UEFA licence application as well as those SFA employees involved in the cover up and that will be the end of it.
No doubt the media will ignore the story completely as UEFA’s ruling that Oldco is dead does not fit the Level 5 continuity myth.

Hope you enjoyed your delegates meeting.

  4. I wonder what will be top of Ian Maxwell’s to do list?
Pretty sure it won’t be anything to do with the fraudulent 2012 UEFA licence application.
7 months and counting and not a squeak from Hampden.
There are only 2 assumptions to be drawn from this farce.
    1. The Compliance Officer’s investigation has been stood down…. for the sake of Scottish football.
    2. His findings confirm that a criminal fraud has taken place and details have been passed to Police Scotland Fraud Squad.
Either outcome has serious ramifications for the SFA and Scottish football.
The SFA is not alone in failing to have adequate checking procedures in place to vet licence applications with the Swiss FA failing to spot SION’s lie in their application with regards to overdue transfer fee payments.
There is no suggestion that the Swiss FA colluded with SION and UEFA has fined the club and barred them from UEFA competitions for 2 years.
This has many similarities to the Rangers application though SION did pay the transfer fee eventually whilst the wee tax bill remained unpaid as Rangers were liquidated.
The difference of course is that there were those at the SFA who were well aware of the unpaid wee tax bill and the official line from Regan, and the SFA, was that the bill had not crystallised at the appropriate UEFA cut off date, a claim also made previously by his PR mouthpiece.
We know of course this claim to have been a lie.
So either Regan and his mouthpiece blatantly lied to cover up a fraudulent licence application or they didn’t bother their backsides to check the facts which makes them both incompetent.
The SFA officially is still hiding behind this lie.
They refused to have an independent review of their licencing procedures and instead handed the job to one of their own employees.
What did they have to fear from an independent investigation unless they already knew what would be revealed?
The biggest known fraud in the history of UK football has been swept under the carpet for 6 years.
Those who perpetrated the fraud and those involved in the subsequent cover up have to be brought to account.
After a 7 month internal review with no outcome and no indication of police involvement it’s high time UEFA sent their auditors into Hampden.
That will send the shivers up a few folk.

  5. AJ as far as we know has not been declared F&P by the SFA yet he’s openly acting as a board member and even issuing statements to the media….how can that be?
With the Compliance Officer apparently on a world cruise and with no means of communication with the outside world, will his review of SFA licencing procedures ever see the light of day?
After 7 months and counting how do we know that he’s not been ordered to stand down as we have to move on and there’s no point turning over old coals?
Oh how lovely it would be if UEFA sent in to Hampden the auditor that exposed the lies in SION’s UEFA licence that has resulted in a 2 year ban from UEFA competitions and a large fine.
SION had an overdue unpaid transfer fee which on their licence application they lied about the actual payment date. The payment was made but 8 weeks after the date they had stated in their application.
    The sum involved was £800k.
Compare with the £2.8m overdue Rangers tax bill that was never paid at all but not declared in the licence application, waved through by the SFA despite widespread knowledge of the outstanding bill.
The ramifications for Rangers, and the SFA, are potentially nuclear.
This is more than an honest mistake or poor admin. A criminal fraud has been perpetrated and a number of people have gone to great lengths to cover it up…. to no avail.
After 7 months, unless indeed the CO has been stood down, perhaps he’s passed the file to Police Scotland Fraud Squad.
The perpetrators and those involved in the cover up should be facing criminal charges and lengthy jail sentences if found guilty.
Perhaps then we can truly move on with the threat of custodial sentences a deterrent for anyone else who may want to cook the books.
Come on UEFA send your auditors into Hampden to do their worst.

  9. So wee Coco strikes gold again with his latest bit of shite from ibrox noise .He has praised Laughferty for saying he made a mistake in leaving rangers .Wee Coco even do said Laughferty is one of them and he has forgiven him .That was well on display today when you saw this bigot not try one bit today not the least bit interested. Laughferty should be ashamed taking a coin from Hearts on that display but he played right into wee Coco and his cohorts today . I also see the union bears trying to be heard it’s the same old shite though still backing the Chisler telling him to get his hand in his pocket and spend oh the Bennys just know telling them anything .You can just imagine all of them together with a big smoke of the funny fags and a kerry-out telling each other how they can change things at the bigot dome. Meanwhile the Chisler and his conmen continue to take the Bennys money from them .

  10. Ah wee Coco cuming in his pants at the huns taking an 18 year old winger from Norwich. When you read wee Coco you can tell it does not take much to excite this clown .He has this kid in the huns team more or less just now telling us he will be bombing down the wing putting balls into the box for players to score he is even been known to score goals himself. He then goes on to mention this kid in the same breath as Wullie Henderson but hey that’s wee Coco with his comedy gold for you ah the Bennys they do like to give us a laugh .

  11. The results went beautifully against Sevco yesterday. If the jambos beat them today Murty may not even see the season out.

IF……Brendan was made an offer from Arsenal and he decided to take it up then I feel Lennon is a near certainty to get the job again given how organized he has made Hibs.

However wee Strachan and Steve Clarke would no doubt get a mention.

HH (Come on the Jambos today)

  12. I see Gordon Waddell’s article today actually has a little more sense to it than his usual ramblings.
In short he was telling the fans that they were the way forward and not Kingo.
However all his fine words counted for nothing at the end as he encouraged the fans to buy Kingco out, presumably paying way north of the 20p soon to be on offer to ordinary shareholders.
I would imagine King would be jumping for joy if he could retrieve his investment from the gullibles and allow him to get out of Dodge.
Roll up, roll up………nice try Gordon.?

  13. Was listening to radio snyde on Saturday there .You would think celtic lost the league by how the conversation was taking place especially by wee broken nose snottery beak keevins. A think all on that station are hurting now as the league can be won next weekend. The way he ran celtic into the ground was a disgrace and the rest where not any better. Another big win next weekend over the Klan should put Keevins &Co in their place .

  14. Well of course we did not become Champions today however this exclusive more than makes up for that. It suggests the first known split between AJ and the man south of the Limpopo. The net effect would appear to be a board more split than ever before with neither one nor the other prepared to take a backward step. Boardroom unity is utterly essential for the young club to become effective in any shape or form as they head into a new pre season. The beauty of this is that Sevco may have a board that eats itself from within whilst we navigate our way through some of our big challenges -4 CL qualifiers next season – we may come out the other end of this process (qualified or not ) with Sevco being in complete disarray.

  15. Phil, your sources are so obviously deep-rooted and qualified to comment that one must assume a willingness around the blue room for the truth to out ! This would indicate that Mr King is way out on a limb !
