Father Pedro and the missing salt cellars

When any leader becomes a figure of fun, then the game really is up.

I’m told that Pedro is the butt of a quintessentially Irish in-joke at Murray Park.

Someone noted that the Poundshop Mourinho resembled Father Ted when he managed the over 75 football match.

Apparently, his gesticulations on the training ground are a sight to behold.

I’m told that there was a recent conversation of the battlefields of Aunchenhowie between two senior pros about this.

They concurred that their manager had no idea what he was trying to communicate!

Sadly, the jokes follow the likable Portuguese chap all the way to the cafeteria.

The joke among the staff there is “quick hide the salt cellars Pedro is coming! We don’t want a tactics talk!”

The craic is that if the Sevco manager sees some condiments then he feels like a bit of tactical periodization coming on.

Yesterday, a magnificently maned factotum asked a senior functionary in the Sevco High Command about the likely cost of paying off Monty Caixinha’s Flying Circus.

I’m told that it is in the region of £1.5m.

Meanwhile, across the city, Brendan Rodgers was at his desk at 07.30hrs this morning.

He slept on the plane and Chris Davies was in Lennoxtown even before his boss today.

The Celtic players were debriefed about the Astana game while they were still airborne.

By now every kick off the ball, every tackle, every cross will have been analyzed by the Irishman and his backroom team.

I think they might be obsessed…

No salt cellars were hurt in the compilation of this Samizdat communiqué.

  1. There appears to be no signs of remission in Rangers* “terminal” condition.

Just a case of waiting for nature to take its course.

    Tick, tock indeed.

  2. Bryson’s “imperfectly registered” players due to EBTs are now “ineligible” players due to the unlawful verdict on EBTs by the Supreme Court.

    Simples.

And the court has decreed they were unlawful back then from 1998 to 2012.

Actually, it was only Liquidation that stopped them using EBTs. The new club Sevco didn’t start using them. This is more evidence it isn’t the continued same club. If it was, they’d still have had the same players on EBTs. ??????

  3. CSA interviewers: “why is it (Sevco) the same club?”

    Doncaster/McKenzie: “it’s a feeling.”

CSA interviewers: “that’s not an answer that would stand up in court”

Doncaster/ McKenzie: “anyway we’re not here to talk about that”.

    ??????????

Carry on up the SPFL Khyber.

    • The same club claim can be Judicial Reviewed at any time (no time bar) because they claim to be the same club on a daily basis.

There’s a five year time bar on EBT tax avoidance/ evasion Sporting Advantage from the date of the Supreme Court ruling. Not before.

Rangers were not taken to task on Sporting Advantage due to tax evasion.this is a new issue.

The unlawful nature of EBTs now renders the player registrations as non viable. Bryson’s lie cannot now withstand the additional Supreme Court fact that the players were unlawful.

LNS did not have legal powers to force MIH to hand over critical player documentation (how convenient). Only the court of Session could force that. LNS was legally toothless and entirely the wrong approach.

      • Nice one!

The claim to be the same club with titles is an unlawful claim on a daily basis. They claim it today, they will claim it tomorrow.

There is no time bar to challenging that.

    • The same club pretence IS the elephant in the EBT room.

      Sevco have zero titles.

Its RFC in Liquidation that has the EBT titles. BDO should give them up.

Somebody write to court appointed RFC Liquidators BDO regarding their EBT titles in lieu of the Supreme Court judgement.

Has BDO actually stated they don’t hold the history and titles?

Have D&P or BDO said Rangers football club was sold to Green? No. They cannot.

  4. I see that Ralston is floating a proposal, credited to Pedro via Level 5, that Celtic’s ticket allocation for Ibrox be severely reduced with the fans allocated the corner section of the ground.
Why? Apparently the Rangers fans can’t stand to see 7,500 Celtic fans whooping it up at Ibrox as 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 goals are wracked up.
It’s also mooted that it’s unfair that the Rangers goalie has to face 45 minutes of goading from the away fans.
Ralston isn’t the sharpest tool in the box, if anyone was in doubt running with this podcast is concrete proof.
I think the mega screen displays around the City hailing CL Group Stage qualification has pushed more than a few over the edge.
Watch for the petition to boycott the company that owns the electronic boards kicking off.

    • It wouldn’t be an Old Firm game without 7,500 Celtic fans.

      He’s clearly not thinking right.

      ???????????

I think they’ve abandoned the Old Firm pish entirely now.

  5. Why the attacks on NS? She is a politician and football probably not her thing!
I doubt very much she has any affection for the YoonYin jack waving brits down Govan way!
Give her a break, the huns give her enough abuse.

    • Nicola told us in 2014 prior to the Indyref vote that Scottish tax income from oil was to be £5billion in 2016/17. The figures out yesterday showed Scottish oil revenue is up in 2016/17 to £250million.

The rise on recent years is good but £250m only buys Neymar and his tax.

She was £4.75billiin low on oil revenue. Similarly the last three years. She doesn’t apologise for misleading.

So please, going easy on Nicola would be fair if she went easy on the rest of Scots.

      • Go easy on NS.

        Why?

That women’s lies, if a yes vote would have prevailed, would have put Scotland up there with Greece.

The numbers didn’t and probably will never add up!!

  8. I’ve noticed First Minister Nicola Sturgeon across tv today, chatting about this n that, visiting here and there.

Unfortunately it didn’t cross her mind to congratulate Celtic on winning Scotland a champions league place. And increasing our national UEFA rating.

Given its Scotland’s national sport and Scotland’s biggest football club, once again putting Scotland on the map, she really is slow on the uptake.

She has to be invited annually to praise Celtic in the Scottish parliament by an MSP before she does it. Why can’t it be her own idea and given genuinely and immediately?
