Bad news and disappointments

There was a high expectation among the Sevco High Command on Saturday.

That was the day Mr David Cunningham King was going to reveal the Grand Plan apropos the Take Over Panel determination.

However, Mr King had no strategy for moving forward.

Instead, he re-stated that, in his opinion, he had been harshly dealt with by the Take Over Panel fellows.

I’m told that the Quintessentially British conclave became heated and less than brotherly.

It was pointed out to Mr King that he had taken the Holding Company Vehicle down a calamitous road in his “negotiations” with General Ashley.

During the meeting, it was pointed out by one director that any further external finance from him was Parked for the foreseeable.

The previous day Senhor Pedro Miguel Faria Caixinha had been told that there was no more new money to augment his squad.

The Serious Professional had to pass on that bad news to the “Poundland Mourinho”.

Basically, if the likeable Portuguese chap wants new a new player then one of his charges will have to go first.

Interestingly, Pedro wanted one old stager to be shown the door immediately.

However, the Senior Professional then consulted with Jonatan Johansson and Graeme Murty and they both spoke with one voice on the matter.

The Serious Professional was told by the two coaches that the player in question would be the one chap that they could really rely on if it got tasty during a match!

On Saturday morning Pedro briefly met with Mr David Cunningham King and the convicted criminal confirmed the new financial realities to the ex-Al-Gharafa supremo.

The priority now for the Sevco High Command is to get players off the wage bill and, ideally, for a transfer fee.

For the avoidance of doubt, everyone at the five-year-old club is happy.

Ever so happy.

  1. With the exception of a couple of seconds of understandable GIUY glee, Lenny was like an altar boy at Ibrox. I think in general they quite like panto villains like him and Broony.
What they dont like is being second, and the fans will go like snow off a dike if the standards and results get worse, and that’s a strong possibility. The huns are still being lied to and fleeced by their own, as it has ever been since Murray’s arrival. They know the score, they always flatter and install idiots as treasurers in their lodges and clubs so they then take the hit for the pockling. Those bams accept that, including knowing who is pocketing the dough, their dough.
Oh for the whole regime to be changed, and replaced with untainted football folk. But that would take Rangers supporters who were not nodding donkeys or bigots, people with balls.

  2. We should not be surprised at the manic rantings of the deluded.

They think that the media is against them, the SFA and now the men in black.

When your view of the world is skewed so badly you know there is no help for them.

The media survive on printing good Rangers news because no self respecting Celtic fan will buy a paper. Not one journalist has questioned what the financial impact of the early exit from Europe will be
But for the corrupt behaviour of our football authorities they would struggle to exist at all.
And boy oh boy they certainly don’t do irony when it comes to referees.

Pedro’s We Arra Peepul mantra is a desperate attempt to keep the fans on board. There will be no hiding place on Saturday if anything less than 3 points is forthcoming from the Hearts game. That would make the Celtic game in September make or break, less than 2 months into the season.
We can be sure that Celtic’s progress in Europe, CL or Europa Cup, will be hailed as a huge positive for Sevco as the fixtures pile up, just as that idiot journalist who wrote up their early exit from Europe as a blessing in disguise, really, really!
How can these guys look at themselves in the mirror

  3. Phil, You mention this take over panel ruling virtually every post. Just what is the time scale for any sanctions?
I would have thought the ToP would have acted by now.

    • Well the wheels of financial justice move slowly. The TOP has petitioned the court of sessions, but they are now all on holiday until September some time and a listing might not become available for some time.

However it will come and the TOP were given legislative teeth and are keen to show they can use it.

  4. If Lennon is cited by the SFA then it could be a massive opportunity to bring the weekly sectarian and racist bile emanating from Ibrox into the light of day.
Not a peep from Regan and Co following the incidents at last season’s Ibrox massacre.
I think that his last comment on the subject was along the lines of ‘What can the police do if 50,000 people are chanting/singing sectarian/racist songs.’
What can they do…….how about wading in with snatch squads, lock up a few dozen over the weekends then charge them according to the laws of the land.
That will soon put a stop to it.
If they were chanting We Hate Muslims or We Hate Jews there would be a public outcry but in bonnie Scotland anti Irish or Catholic abuse is accepted as the norm.
Yes please Regan, get Lenny cited and bring the issue into the UK mainstream because as sure as hell the Scottish media will be concentrating on making Lennon the villain as usual and ignoring the real issues.

  5. Kieran or is it Liam Ruadh (from Phil’s previous post) or is it just silly billy who stood by and let their club die.

    I wonder?

  6. Maybe Club 1690 should have kept their statement powder dry on Neil Lennon. Going to be issuing plenty more tear stained statements once the penny drops their basket of assets is screwed all ends up. Don’t come crawling to Hibernian and expect any sympathy. You can have our cold shoulder to cry on.

  7. Oh, Phil, I think, for the very first time, that you might be wrong about something, because, in light of the Ayebroken Levellers pointing cameras at their own loving cup journalists, the Peepil are not only EXTREMELY UNHAPPY INDEED, I think that both they and their laundry/racket/’club’ are now at the point of being judged by the smartest folk in the land to be DISSOCIATIVE, PARANOID & HYSTERICALLY & CRIMINALLY INSANE.

Just a shame those same smart folk don’t sit in any positions of power in Scotland to tackle this blatant maniac corruption at its source, as all those muppets in the Scottish ‘Parliament’ are far too busy ‘fucking HATING Celtic’ to be in the slightest bit concerned about what their favourite fabricated ‘Scottish institution’ gets up to in stoking a bloody civil war while their nationwide Masonic brothers gaze on in greedy expectation at their profiting from the forthcoming division amidst the spoils of such war.

    Twas ever thus, though.

  8. Neil hasn’t visited the bigot temple since around the 2012 Liquidation of the original club.

He waltzes up and strolls off with three of their points. Two games and Sevco have dropped three points (half total) already.

It’s not an invincible season Pedro. You’ve lost 50% of your games and you’re so out of FFP loans/ debt allowance it’s beyond embarrassing.

  9. Sevco are the mocking stock of Scottish football, everything they touch turns to farce.

Has the petition to secure a draw from saturday, because they scored 3 goals, been circulated?

Hat’s off to Mr Lennon for such an original interpretation of the Time warp. Last 16 Champion’s League managers know how to celebrate.

Eighth place awaits sevco at the weekend, wonder if they will be videoing the match officials and posting disagreeable clips online afterwards?

  10. Celtic video wall – major sponsors paying to be there:
Magners, Labrookes, NewBalance, Dafabet, Intelligent leasing

Sevco video wall – paying peanuts:
    Sports Direct, Red32, Club1870, Rfc

    Sevco now a toxic brand

        • You do realise I’m a Celtic supporter fed up with Phil’s never ending doomsday predictions. I actually love Phil for what he’s done, I feel indebted to him for his bravery in the face of Lennyesque abuse. He’s got very boring, no offence meant so if he is upset then I apologise. Just saying how I view his work at present. Cue moronic responses 🙁

          • Can someone please explain to me why ‘Kieran’ is so offencive to some. In West Belfast I am identified as a ‘Fenian’ automatically. Is it a ‘Hun’ name in Bonnie Scotland?

          • No, Kieran is a ‘Tim’ name in Scotland too.

The problem is that all you do is criticise the man you profess to ‘love’ in every single pots and, judging by the weight of responses against you, we’re all getting a bit sick of that too.

What do you want Phil to do, kick the Ibrox doors in and arrest KingCo himself for their crimes and ongoing felonies ..?

Without Phil there’s a fair chance none of us would know ANYTHING about any of this stuff so let the journalist do his investigations in peace.

If you really want action, compile a list of all Sevco related crimes that you know of and deliver it to the PSNI yourself.

            They’re ‘British’ too, right ..?

          • I tend to agree. We are still waiting for the place to be closed down because the roofs weren’t safe.Remember we wouldn’t take any tickets as our safety wasn’t guaranteed…. how did that one end?
One other point is the need to use everyone’s full name.We know who you are talking about so are you just trying to get more words on paper?

  11. I’d love to see the ‘potential’ snr man in question go to a rival and knock in a few against sevco over the season.

Sevco are a poorer side this season than last. I can see them getting a top 5 finish but only just.

Can’t wait to hear King’s strategy on the takeover panel.

  12. How their fans must love the fact that you keep them full informed regarding their club Phil. I’m sure it’s only a matter of minutes before club 1690 release a statement condemning the boardroom chaos at Ibrox and the slide towards this year’s liquidation event.
One thing that is certain is that their fans were indeed very restrained when it came to trying to save their old club but surely they wouldn’t want the recent visit of Neil Lennon to foreshadow yet another downfall…….
