The referee roadshow

One can only conjecture what the dinner table chat is this week in Southern Spain between Hugh Dallas, Dougie McDonald, Stewart Dougal and Donald McVicar.

They are currently on vacation with their spouses.

This quarter represent the ancien regime of Scottish refereeing.

I doubt they will be raising a glass to new broom Stewart Regan or, indeed, this troublesome Irish journalist.

Such is the travails of any establishment realising that it is in the process of being ousted.

The terrible future that looms is one based on fairness and transparency.

The future, in Scottish football, is an undiscovered country.

One without second class citizens.

As Dr.Reid said at the Celtic AGM last month.

“Those days are gone!”
