As for the bonfire builders of Moygashel, given their hostility to Irish language signage, it must be linguistically awkward that the original name of their village is Maigh gCaisil (plain of the stone fort).
Moreover, the fact that they are commemorating the arrival of thousands of unvetted foreign men to this island on…yes…boats is clearly beyond them!
I noted that this racist cottage industry in the Six Counties has attracted the attention of people who are concerned with the far right.
As the recent xenophobic disorder in Ballymena ( an Baile Meánach) showed, it isn’t just the Fenians who have to be concerned for their safety from racists.

I was in Libya perhaps a month before Obama ordered Cameron and Sarkozy to bomb Libya into the stone age. I lost many friends, good people, to the West’s psychopathy. I watched in horror as Gadhafi was raped and murdered in the most horrible fashion. The western MSM who knew nothing of Libya, celebrated his death, not realising that he had managed to unify warring tribes and create a civilised, educated and rich society.
They paid no heed to his warning that Libya was the dam holding back floods of immigrants from descending on western Europe. I listened, in absolute horror, as Hilary Clinton said, “We came, we saw, we killed him”.
This was not the start of mass immigration, but it was certainly the turning point.
Cui bono at the carnage to European culture because of the mass immigration of people from war torn cultures to the supposed free countries of Europe? The good old US of A.
Europe was unprepared to cope with the sheer volume of immigrants and the obvious clash of cultures which has ensued. Europe, by kow towing to US plans for hegemony in the Middle East and Africa are accomplices to mass murder and mayhem .
These are the plans of a failing empire, overburdened with debt and crumbling infrastructure, fighting the rise of BRICS and the decline of the dollar as the world’s reserve currency. The wars in Ukraine, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq and most recently, Iran are nothing more than US proxy wars.
And who pays the price? The immigrants themselves who would have stayed home if not for US bombs and the people of Europe whose cultures are overwhelmed by sheer numbers.
Burning effigies of mothers, fathers and children seeking a better life away from the destruction of their homelands from US bombs is not only despicable and horrifying, but shifts the blame from the real culprits to the victims, whether they be immigrants or indigenous, if I may use that word since no population is truly indigenous.
The world’s leaders cannot even agree and stop the genocide and ethnic cleansing of Palestine. A crime so obvious that even a fool can see it.
What hope is there for humanity?

Working in the Oil&Gas industry until 2015 seen the despair in faces of Libyans, Iraqis and Kurds their future destroyed for reasons alien to them.

Typical racist rhetoric, deceitfully wrapped up in concern for the victims. It’s the same deceit as Americans racists claiming they are fighting for their freedom in the same way as Civil Rights protesters.
“Floods of immigrants descending”, “carnage to European culture” etc are straight out of central casting of the Ibrox Ideocracy.
As usual, the “Hurrah for the Blackshirts” Daily ‘Hate’ Mail and their ilk agenda is regurgitated without any facts and by people who would consider them their ideological enemies.
Where there’s the evidence of “floods’ of people (spoiler, there’s a trickle of very desperate people prepared to risk death to reach the ‘promised land’ of relatively rich, peaceful, welcoming countries with plenty of land and jobs, although not sure about the milk and honey).
Spoiler 2, even this small trickle is caused by the UK mandating that asylum requests can only be made from this country hence seekers have to endure these perilous journeys.
UK Spending on immigration is less than 5%, maybe as low as 1 or 2%, dwarfed by spending on war, effectively refugee creation, and plenty of other services. This doesn’t take account of the positive contribution on care, health services and other economic activities that immigrants undertake.
Oh, and lets not mention the estimated £50bn tax evasion, undertaken by media owners, amongst others, who feed this racism to a seemingly unquestioning public.

Just when I was thinking there is nothing they could do to shock me anymore, this comes along. I have a few friends who would like to see fewer illegal boats arriving in the UK, but this takes things to another level entirely. The mindset required to put this in place just baffles me. I am leaving the UK in 11 weeks time. There isn’t a single thing I will miss. Not so much as a fish supper. If they locked down the borders again, I would catch a small boat heading back across the channel. Just get me out of here.
