SFA to move against Paul McBride QC

The SFA have decided to report Paul McBride QC to the Faculty of Advocates after his comments yesterday about the association’s disciplinary committee.

A senior SFA source has told me that the people in the association were “furious” with the QC’s performance on the TV as he commented upon the fact that Rangers players Bougherra and Diouf would escape bans for their behaviour in the Scottish cup tie at Celtic Park last.

The QC blasted the SFA when he said that: “The SFA are tonight officially the laughing stock of world football,” he told BBC Scotland. “And they have been shown to be not merely dysfunctional and not merely dishonest but biased,”
