SFA Response to Irish Diaspora in Scotland Association

This letter from Stewart Regan of the SFA to the Irish Diaspora in Scotland Association is important for the simple fact of its existence. Here is the head of the SFA acknowledging the existence of the Irish community in Scotland.
Moreover, the final sentence of the first paragraph gets to the core of the issue. Anti-Irish racism in the sporting arena has and does undermine the Irish community as active citizens.
After this correspondence I cannot see Mr.Regan being able to call for round table discussions at some future date on these issues and not invite representatives of the Irish community.
From the back of the bus to the top table.
That is why this letter is important.
Tip of the hat to Mr.Regan.
