Getting the Lowdown on the Blue Room manoeuvres

David Low is someone worth paying attention to when it comes to football clubs and finance.

As the clock ticked towards high noon in Glasgow, he was literally in the room at the bank when Fergus McCann saved Celtic

Low was the Bunnet’s guy on the ground as the wee man plotted how best to oust the old board.

Hence, the featured image, a post on X today, is worth considering.

David expects a move from across the Pond in the New Year.

The Ibrox klanbase, with their sugar daddy cravings, are still dreaming of moonbeams.

It’s almost as if the local media has not explained UEFA’s FSR to them in Golden Retriever.

Of course, it is entirely possible that the hacks do not understand these ordinances either!

David’s rejoinder to his own post is unanswerable.

“Our unstable friends down river” is redolent of a kindness of spirit towards Celtic’s impoverished neighbours that I do not possess.

Today, they return to the stadium that John Brown played for.Thirty years after McCann saved Celtic, these two images are worth many thousands of words.

The financial juggernaut at Parkhead started in 1994.

No egotistic benefactor was subventing a loss-making business, nor were there creative tax scams.

Instead, it was a long, arduous process of building up the business.

Crucially, that was based on a stadium strategically bigger than the one Mr Bomber played for.

Even after the Copland shitshow, that is still the case.

Today, Hector almost certainly keeps a close eye on things there.

Moreover, to be invited to the UEFA’s  party, you must abide by their sustainability rules

Consequently, any new investor will only derive a profit from their investment if they run the operation within those parameters.

This is not what the customer base of the Ibrox franchise wants.

Socialised into a subculture defined by ethno-religious supremacism, they want instant success to tell them that they are still “The People”.

“Unstable” is a reasonable description…

  1. “Far East Investment” doing a lot of heavy lifting this Monday morning along with reports Phillipe is one poor result away from the sack, never a dull moment.

  2. King has no shame whatsoever. But it’s not hard to see the klan base in the support welcoming his chat. If you had the money required to get them out of the s**t, would you want to get involved with a sloor bag convicted criminal like King. No thanks 😅

  3. The irony of course is that they rejected an actual American Billionaire (Robert Sarver) at the start of this never ending shipt show (silent pee for lavvy drinkers) and well the rest they say is history.
I knew then that this was not going to end well for them because that particular interest would have I believe had a completely different approach to climbing up the pyramid and building a sustainable model.
That was a sure sign that the people who wanted control were only ever going to serve their own interests first and foremost.
He had the dough to buy and sell all of them several times over but not being a “Rainjurz Man” ruled him out from the get go.

  4. “The quantum of new money required is greater than the value of the business”. Wow! That pretty much sums the situation up. If there’s a movie by “the Americans” in the new year, then what will they be offering?

  5. Mr King the Super Hero again is astonishing . This guy stood up in Scotland’s highest Court and said ” The New club is not responsible for the the sins of the Old club . Ignored by our media for normal reasons . This quote alone should bar the clown from anywhere the New club . Cheers

  6. These Investors from the U.S must know that it would be a financially wiser decision to pick up the assets after a liquidation event than bail out the people who have ran the business terribly over the last 12 years, a major factor justifying that strategy would be there IS NO HISTORY TO BUY.!
