A moral defeat in Dingwall?

Ah now…

That was a storyline that the Sevco scriptriters have kept well hidden until now.

A display of the Dunkirk Spirit in Dingwall.

Chapeau!

For the avoidance of doubt, I make no claim of clairvoyance for this today.

At this stage, TavPen is kind of obligatory when the basket of assets is in any sort of trouble.

No doubt, dear Philippe will find some moral redemption in leaving Dingwall with zilch.

Of course,  the Transcendental Chairman will be one hand to provide an environment of tranquillity.

There’s always that…

Post-match, Philippe certainly wasn’t minded to offer any excuses even when he was, well, offering an excuse.

“Maybe it’s because we had a really really strange preparation this week…”

However, I suspect that not all of Sevco’s dignified customers currently see it quite that way.

At least one chap bemoaned the lack of snap, crackle and pop in the performance.

In fairness, it certainly looked as if the Staggies clearly had their Weetabix today.

Now, with Celtic edging in front, the iconic world-class breakfast at Auchenhowie needs to be reintroduced.

  1. In the last four games theRangers have been awarded a penalty. Ok, unusual, but it happens very occasionally.
In three of those games they were losing, and in the other it was 0-0 but they were making heavy weather of it. Eyebrows getting raised now.
All four penalties were awarded by VAR despite no obvious error (because there was none) by the onfield match officials.
    Alarm bells ringing now.
There are only two explanations, incompetence or corruption.

  2. The Belgian Beale is such a class act he disappeared up the tunnel when the whistle blew at full time and didn’t shake the Ross county managers hand. He’s well suited to dignity FC.

  3. Their 2 wins in the last 7 came when the oppo Hibsed it, foreby that it would be even worse.

I was hoping for a complete 90min Celtic performance yesterday and although the awful conditions played a part, we really need to play better in the 1st half (apart from against themuns) otherwise it could come back to haunt us.

TBF we do look to be able to blow teams away comfortably in the end but I’d rather my stress levels were reduced earlier!
