Why a change of meds is required at Ibrox

This week has been difficult for the Blue Pill dealers in the Stenography Corps.

The forensic truth is that a seriously under-strength Celtic team could go to Ibrox and leave with three points.

Moreover, Brendan Rodgers is unlikely to have such a paucity of resources in any of the remaining derby matches this season.

Finally, the Penny Arcade is dropping for the more sentient members of the Ibrox klanbase, and the pain of realisation has been wonderful to observe.

The horrible, gnawing fear for the People is that maybe this is as good as it gets.

Being simply the second best isn’t what they were told to expect when they embarked on “the journey” in 2012.

In both technical areas, the contrast was stark on Sunday.

An elite-level coach directed the away team.

Conversely, Sevco were relying on the tactical nous of a work experience spoofer.

Today, I learned more about the ambience in the Blue Room after the final whistle.

Sadly, the sacking of that nice Mr Beale was discussed.

When I heard that, I was, in the words of Sevco’s captain, disappointed.

Of course, such a knee-jerk reaction apropos the Sevco manager would cost money, and none of the assembled brethren seemed overly keen to stump up.

Consequently, Mr Beale seems safe for the moment.

Personally, I am heartened by that prospect as he certainly meets with my approval!

If anyone in the Ibrox klanbase thinks that an era of dominance is returning, they should probably just keep taking the tabloids.

  1. Yes, before the match many – including myself – had concerns, and would gladly have taken a draw.
The fact that Beale couldn’t overcome our makeshift team
    – and inside a bears only Ibrox – was/is really significant.
Earn some EL cash and win the LC now seems like a reasonable sevco target for this season.
But the bears won’t accept that.

  2. They dreamt of Postecoglou leaving Celtic and after 4 games of the new season they face the prospect of having to chase down a superior team.

It’s always tough to be expected to overcome an enemy who are more stable, more professional and better resourced.

  3. If the tabloids circulation sales continue to plummet off a the edge of a cliff at the current rate that they are, then there won’t be any left to take…
That beautiful day cannot come a day too soon for me !
All the bluster and bloated inflated Sevco transfer figures from the tabloids that Beale was happy to play along with in the close season are now coming home to roost and he has broken ranks denied the figures and basically said in not so many words that The Scottish mainstream Media are economical with the truth – in other words liars…
They (and consequently The Sevco directors will not like this one little bit) – And that Summertime Cup Win seems like a million years ago for them !
What a time to be a Celtic supporter and long may it last…

  4. There’s no way they can pay off Beale and possibly compensation to another club for a new manager, all their talk about Muscat as their next manager is a fairy tale why would he leave Yokohama FM for sevco?

  5. Too many blue pills been distributed pre-season giving many hard-ons for Beale the tactical and financial wizz.

When I saw the game against the Greek’s albeit a friendly I saw nothing, not one thing from rangers to be frightened of. The best player that night was Souttar.

rangers cheerleading fansites fantasising about beale going against tradition and playing with no wide men for an extra forward confirmed what I needed to know top heavy, unproven, cheap, unsellable dross. Relying on Ratsking and Cantwin for the midfield management.

Was it only the Celtic fans who questioned his purchases? Good pay off coming for Beale so he wont mind so much.

    • Not so sure he will be too pleased with any payout he might get/not get !
I seem to remember the “magic hat man” Warburton had to be informed by ,correct me if l’m wrong, he had been “resigned”.
Anything he gets in recompense will probably have to be gained by legally twisting their arm and will have to be an amount that will ensure he needn’t work in football management ever again.
He has ,over the last two games, been outed as the fraud he most certainly is.
      Tabloids,Phil…..You crack me up,chara.
