I suppose it is a sign of just how well-run things are at Ibrox these days.
Mr Ross Wilson left his dignified employment at the basket of assets in an entirely planned way.

Of course, it would have been very different.
Somewhere in another part of the fitba multiverse, his departure was a total surprise to the Sevco High Command.
In that dimension, the new chairman totally lost the plot about it.
Instead, all was tranquil in the Blue Room as the diminutive director of football bid them all adieu.
Late last night, I put out this Tweet.

It was based on a suggestion made to me by a well-placed insider.
To quote the same source, Sevco’s current managing director is “doing extraordinary work in extraordinary circumstances”.
I think that’s a very fair adumbration of his current performance.
No one would blame him if he decided to Do Walking Away.
My information is that such a course of action would not be supported by a Stateside member of the Sevco High Command who values the Serious Professional rather highly.
Undeniably, both senior employees have been getting the brunt of fan anger in recent weeks.
If the Ibrox klanbase were better informed, then they might have changed their aim.
One thing is sure in his new role, Mr Wilson will not be rummaging in the bargain buckets while pretending he has big money to spend.
He will now be dealing with reality rather than fantasy.

I rather think he will be rummaging in bargain basement buckets at Forrest – have you looked at the league position
Ross Wilson done a fair bit of Shopping for players at Celtic Park, when at Southampton, Van dyke, Wanyama, Foster and possibly Armstrong.
He has a bigger budget to spend at Forrest, watch out for some moves next summer.
Their seems to be a fair bit of movement of staff leaving, at the Rangers, is the Ship ready to run aground?
No mention of all their woes or details of their late Friday night accounts by the senior Rangers reporter in the Herald today
It seems operation deflect and deny is in full swing .
Makes you wonder how bad the accounts are
But no doubt when they do appear the senior Rangers reporter will do as he is told and report all is well over in La La land .
Mick has confirmed that he is to be given the biggest transfer budget ever handed out to a Govan Club manager…Can we not find it in our hearts to believe him ??…Why would he lie…??
The board changes are deflecting from what’s happening on the field of play.
It’s very doubtful if Beale will survive being knocked out of the cup by Celtic who will then be mega odds on to win another treble, another nail in his coffin.
Of the current squad it’s difficult to pick out a player who could be moved on for significant money to fund a rebuild under a new manager.
Would be no surprise if the new boss comes from way off left field?
Beale would survive a beating in the semi-final because sevconians still think he’s ‘the man’ even although he’s yet to achieve a Celtic victory. The blue room can’t afford to make any more managerial changes after the Gio flop so they will gladly hang on to Beale, win or lose. HH
I’ve read ‘Rangers Banter ‘. All is well, change is good and the rebuilding is now well underway
The site is full of names of potential signings, together with analysis of their performances so far for current teams and how they would fit into the Ayebrokes set up.
How do their fans get the time to check out all these players ?
I’m sure if I put up a spoof name eg Lars Porsena, big Swedish defender playing for Clusium in Italy I’d be given his stats and his prospects within the hour.
I may just try that.
Lars Porsena is a very highly sought after and technically gifted..no nonsense …Swedish defender who would achieve a childhood ambition to play for Sevco…He is a free agent in the summer …and is now praying that the Govan Club will swoop in and make his dreams come true….Thanks to John McArthur.
Is Park’s walking away connected in any way to Wilson’s?
As in: Park could see what was coming down the pike and chose to b*gger off instead.
Wilson did likewise?
Beale is in a REALLY tricky position now.
The Ibrox expections are that he has to qualify for the CL- and mount a decent challenge to the SPL title,
without any meaningful player budget…and now without a Sporting Director!
[Or with a Sporting Director – who will take time to get up to speed with Beale and the Blue Room.]
Seems like the wind has changed at Ibrox: maybe Robertson will indeed b*gger off as well?
Great stuff! 🙂
… and without Scottish VAR!!!
They’re oot
