Being addicted to supremacism probably isn’t a recipe for a happy, healthy life.
That is particularly true when reality dumps some irrefutable evidence on top of you.
The delightful folk who think that their club didn’t die in 2012 have been mugged by irrefutable facts since Sunday.
Consequently, I’ve reason to believe that this week has been especially difficult for the Ibrox klanbase.
The poor dears.
I, on the other hand, have had a lovely time go raibh míle maith agat!
Now, it clearly isn’t just losing the cup final to Celtic that has created the bleak outlook for Sevco’s dignified clientele.
Rather it is what is starting to become discernible for them going forward.
Put simply, what does the future hold for those who support Sevco?
Certainly, this chap is already less than hopeful about next season.

Given the financial disparity between both Glasgow clubs, our old friend margin of error is in play, especially when it comes to recruitment.
Not only can Celtic spend more in the coming transfer window, but the Parkhead club can also afford to get it wrong on a player or two.
Conversely, the Director of Fantasy and his work experience Guardiola have to get everything just about perfect.

Margin of error…
So it is back to league business this weekend.
Sevco is comfortably the best of the rest.
However, the top spot will go to the Hoops when the title is awarded at the end of the season.
For the avoidance of doubt, the Ibrox klanbase, because they’re trapped in a fascist fever dream, cannot cope with that.
It’s the hate that kills them.

A big family weekend past and just catching up on your many excellent post Phil.
Great read especially after another 5 yesterday, another crazy handball against and a pen not given even when the commentator explained it’s not where the offence starts it’s where it ends with the CH definitely having a hand on Kyogo’s shoulder in the box. Dallas on VAR though….!!
The toss up for start of next season is whether the directors at Ibrox speculate on getting into the CL and spend early to make progress into the group stages or to wait and see if they qualify. That might be a key decision. If they don’t get in with the big boys it would enrage the Klan and Beale would start a season as a marked man. I would personally fear for the man’s health and well-being.
I think Celtc might see a few of the subs/fringe players move, maybe even the likes of Forrest, Welsh, Turnbull, Johnston, Montgomery, Scales, Ajeti, Barkas, etc. We should see a few million in sales for these guys and others no doubt.
With rangers needing to do a full rebuild, forget revamp, it’s going to be tough for a rookie manager to make every new signing a first team impactful player based on not playing his only new recruits in the final under much klan criticism.
With Celtic though, I feel under Ange, we will always be a team in transition as he continues to want to better every position so it will be very interesting to see where he goes next to make the next step up. He will have the financial backing and we know the type of player he wants so it should be a good start to next season for the Bhoys’ fans. Looking forward to it.
I see as speculated here also the Bhoys pulling away from the rest and would love to see Aberdeen, United and Hearts all able to compete for second spot.
Seems a bit strange that a team 20 odd goals behind would Jack the game at halftime today and then let the opposition score. I wonder why?…..
Yes, Sevco is comfortably best of the rest…this season.
Hopefully, after their revampire (not rebuild) in the summer, hopefully Hearts will lose their inferiority against their big cousins and sharpen up against the others.
Then, we might need to amend their slogan to “Simply the Second Best, at best”
Failure to qualify for the CL next season will put them under serious pressure. If we were to lose the second CL place they could be in really deep shit. We MUST keep our foot on their neck.
Yes, it seems that even the SMSM is touching on the obvious, gloomy future for sevco!
And this summer could be when we really see how ambitious our Board is – and if it aligns with Ange’s expectations?
With sevco staring at prolonged austerity, CFC should be doubling down on strengthening the squad this summer.
Not to guarantee continued, domestic success – but to show the support, and Ange, that the club wants to make progress in European competition.
However, with Lawwell back in the building, he is probably rubbing his hands at the possibility of cutting costs whilst sevco languishes. [Yes, we know he is supposed to be a ‘non-exec’!]
This summer could be defining, for several reasons, at Parkhead.
An infant of a club that is run by clowns. Why is their no noise about Kent and the fat one leaving for Zero £’s, surely a well run business would be making at least £5 mill for 2 first team players? Oh wait I got it they sold the 5 stars for £50 that covers the loses on those 2
I’m not sure why Sevco are settling for second best just because Celtic can outspend them. After all, William Nimmo Smith discovered that having more money does not bring any sporting advantage.
The faces on the SFA, Sevco Football Association’s top crew, when Celtic lifted the cup. Sweet!
Like looking at the Politburo watching a Mayday parade.
Difficult for guys like Sakala, Goldson, and the penalty fella to perform for Sevco. Especially when thousands of their fanbase glorify a KKK member every week.
I hope the hate kills them, not slowly! But very quickly.
Terms used on the Rangers fans’ social media sites such as “the filth”, “scum”, “Yahoos”, “the fat Aussie” not only betrays a lack of articulation of the English language but are also expressions of their hatred of all things Celtic. This is an unhealthy state that must be close to combusting. God help them!
Living on the other side of the planet, my day gets off to the best start when I see you have been busy Phil. You are on fire at the moment.
Chapeau my man, Chapeau.
And thank you for your quite brilliant work.
Work experience Guardiola 😁 very good.
‘Margin of Error’ sounds like a good title for a third novel…
As a fan of the Mighty Wasps I have no leaning to either Celtic or the old or new Rangers. However, I am concerned about a non level playing field in Scottish football. To this end where do you think the current incarnation of a club playing at Ibrox would be in the league were it not for penalties being awarded to them, opposing players being sent off, excessive added minutes and other dubious decisions going their way? All happening in plain sight. Surely time for fans of other clubs, not just Celtic, to stand up and be counted on these on field and financial matters. If another club is better than yours by fair means and playing better football, then so be it but if it uses dodgy, unfair means then that is unacceptable.
The “dodgy and unfair means” that you mention …isn’t a new thing.
This Club has been “looked after ” for over a Century.
To openly have a “No Catholic ” policy …and get away with it for so long…tells you all you need to know.
And to pick up on your moniker…WASPs in Scotland exert huge influences in many areas…Ibrox being high on their agenda.
As for anyone doing anything about it…
Don’t hold your breath…nothing will change in that regard.
“Imperfectly registered ” anyone ??
The amazing thing has been that the ‘inconsistent’ decisions have continued under VAR. An independent review of Scottish refereeing would be fascinating.
