A tall order for Mr Demotivator?

For the week that was in it, one can only imagine what the current mood is like in the Sevco squad.

Firstly it looks as if they were very publicly upbraided on the turf at Hampden as Celtic celebrated retaining the trophy.

Then, as I have reported, there was a free and frank exchange of views in the loser’s dressing room immediately after Mr Demotivator’s performance art.

Of course, ALL of that should have happened behind closed doors.

I cannot imagine Ange doing anything like that.

Then again, the final was match number 37 for Mr Beale as a manager.

The Australian with the immigrant back story has, at least, some 600 matches in senior management under his belt.

Then there were the wonderfully unguarded pressers yesterday to both the broadcast and print journalists.

A buddy reminded me this morning that it was redolent of Terry Butcher when he was the manager of Hibernian.

Apparently, he told the squad they weren’t good enough, and then, in an unconnected development, they didn’t seem to bust a gut for him

Accies won the playoff tie, and it wasn’t very sunny on Leith.

Mr Beale has stated in a presser that around 25% of the squad will go.

Now, there are 12 league matches remaining, including two derbies against Celtic.

If all goes well for Sevco, they have the possibility of another three cup ties to get them to another final at Hampden.

Consequently,  the work experience managerial genius has to motivate his charges for up to another FIFTEEN matches.

Here is the delighful Mr Lundstram.

He certainly looks raring to go.

However, this dignified chap isn’t convinced by what he heard.

It is vital that Mr Beale succeeds in all of these games, as I do not detect a huge well of goodwill for him among the eleven-year-old club’s supporters.

Just as well he was brought in a motivational speaker to assist him.

I’m sure that Mr Beale’s Gumtrree Galacticos will benefit from his inspirational insights as they consider the prospect of a trophyless season.

He’s probably the sort of chap that many in the Ibrox klanbase can connect with.

For the avoidance of doubt, I’m finding Mr Beale’s reign of error at Ibrox to be very motivating.
