Amid his loquacious musings, sometimes there is a genuine gem of information from Mr Beale.

In many ways, this is probably the first time that Mr Beale has been ever so slightly off-message.
In fairness, it isn’t exactly Mr Giovanni in the aftermath of a Champions League thrashing, but significant, nonetheless.
Mr Beale’s job is to take on the wealthiest club in Scotland with “not huge finance.
So, dear reader, this is the reality for Sevco in 2023.
Faced with this, it is understandable that some of them would want to reminisce about better days for the Ibrox franchise.
Looking back to a fondly imagined past makes sense when the future is undeniably bleak.

This time last week they were undefeated under Beale and they were touted as at least being our equal and by themselves as being better than us. Now it’s all about how big a job it is (but not too big). Contradictions all over the place but the bitterness can be very blind.
Their problem is its always someone else’s fault or there has to be a scapegoat. Seems its GVB just now he caused the gap

My favourite band from the ’60’s was an group called ” Cream” and a while back while checking them out I came across an outfit called ” Sons of Cream” who play their songs and which actually contains relatives of the original band, two sons and a nephew.
Out of respect for the original members both, living and deceased, I will reserve judgement as to their prowess and ability to nail the original songs but also because they do not claim to be an “engine room subsidiary” of the original band. nor do they claim to be be “The Cream”, ironically what the original outfit were mistakenly called ,I believe.
None of the original “fans” would buy it and perhaps would make them out to be figures of fun.
As it obviously looks like all Sevco have realistically to compete for is the Scottish Cup Celtic have their treble fate in their hands, Whilst an away game to Hearts can be tricky if Celtic play to their strengths on the day and complete the job then it’s all there for them. The fall out for Micky Beale if this happens will be like nothing he’s witnessed before and the honeymoon period will be well and truly over.
Also wish there was at least a few in the media who would ask him where all the money is coming from for this squad overhaul including the 3/4 big signings.
For every £5 Celtic spend, Sevco will spend nothing.

I doubt if Mickys bosses will be over the moon at their manager’s comments on financial matters.
Getting the likes of Morelos, Kent and Kamara off the wage bill for good money will be easier said than done now that Beale has confirmed the state of finances at Ibrox,giving potential buyers the ammunition to play hardball on transfer fees.
With Hibs and Celtic both away games coming up anything less than 6 points will increase the heat on the Rangers manager.
Of course he’s not going to be idle for long as the England manager’s job is his for the taking according to one informed pundit 🤢
Kent and Morelos are both out of contract at the end of the season, so there will be no transfer fees for them.
I think there’s a really good chance that they might both, particularly Kent, still be there. If anyone seriously wanted them, a move would have been made for them in January. We can laugh at, and ridicule Morales all we want, but get him fit and that boy has goals in him……… objectionable shite of a human being that he is.
I don’t see Morelos recapturing his peak form, so if he’s still there hoovering up wages as well as pies then that worry me too much.

The difference between Ange and the Plank Beale is that Ange has got class the other is all mouth. I loved it; after the match on Sunday, Ange showed him scant regard, then immediately turned up to his wife and let all his emotions out.
Beale will realise how much of a shit show he has to appease with no money.

If you listen to him speak, it’s cliché, waffle, cliché, ramble, all in the voice of an Easy End barrow boy. When it starts to go wrong I think it will all unravel very quickly. I don’t think Sunday was the start, but the next defeat could be, especially if they get knocked out of the SC.
