I think it is a clear indication of a racism problem at Ibrox when an organisation like FARE is seen as the enemy.

“Vile”?
Dear, oh dear…
Especially as this comes from an official media partner of the ten-year-old club.
Although it is mainly unremarked by the succulent suspects in the Stenography Corps, the Ibrox klanbase has previous for racist chanting in European matches.
This has led to partial ground closures in 2019.
Therefore, this warning tonight had some weight behind it.

PSV were at Ibrox in 2011 when UEFA sanctioned the original Rangers for discriminatory chanting.
My reporting on this story is available on the site archive.
Then, the FARE delegate reported to UEFA about the kultural karaoke that night.
This led to a ban on away fans at the first match of the 2011-2012 season.
As it happened, it was Malmo.

Thanks to Super Salary in the dugout, Mr Whyte’s Rangers would not be long in European competition in their final season on this earth.
It is worth recalling that because of the overdue payables emanating from the Wee Tax Case, Rangers should not have had a licence to play in UEFA connections that season.
Here are all the details of the case.
As I recall, the UEFA match delegate that night in 2011 at Ibrox was from Narne Arne and apparently heard nothing untoward.
Thankfully there was a person present to ensure FARE play on the night.
At the time, the possibility of UEFA sanctions somewhat irked the Rangers managing director Martin Bain.
“We are still in the process of preparing our submission on the away game and to be confronted with this now seems chaotic to say the least. We have never said sectarian singing is not a problem but this now has all the hallmarks of a deliberate and targeted campaign against the club. What else are we expected to believe when UEFA officials give us favourable reports at our matches only to indict us later on the evidence of an outside unaccountable body?”
The poor chap.
I felt for him at the time, dear reader.
Whether it is the original Rangers or Sevco, the Ibrox klanbase is a constant.
As is their addiction to discriminatory chanting and anti-Irish racism in particular.
Moreover, they’re aware that it is only in UEFA competitions that such warnings need to be uttered.
The Ibrox klanbase know that their hatreds are tacitly authorised in Fair Caledonia.
Moreover, the local media are unlikely to call it out anytime soon.
If they were doing their job on this socially important matter, then there would be no need for a journalist in another country to hold power to account on Planet Fitba.
See the problem?
Now that is vile.

And what about BBC putting up a total lie on there sites saying the new club/team engine room subsidy playing in the champions League for 1st time in twelve years lie falsehood untrue
The most obvious message from this statement is: “It’s OK to sing these disgraceful songs but be careful when you are likely to get caught and the club will
face punishment. Otherwise, carry on!”
Playing sloop john B over the tannoy as the players come out for the second half was not the brightest of ideas if you want to avoid racists chants. Then again, these things are by design.
There’s no genuine atmosphere at Ibrox on European nights. That’s because their repertoire is completely limited. Let’s be generous and say ninety percent of their chants are racist/sectarian/fascist related. Their belligerent fans were involved in running street battles in Seville. Inside the stadium those same ‘supporters’ were pretty subdued. That’s because they’re being monitored, albeit belatedly. Better late than never.
how is the “Bouncy Bouncy” not sansctioned as racism, the vile simulation of the racist/sectarian murder of young Irishmen Stephen Hamill in Portadown by loyalist bandsmen Bouncing up and down on his head.
