An Irish airline proves that laughter is kryptonite to the klan

I recently read that one of the antidotes to the emergence of an authoritarian mindset was a toleration of humour.

It should be clear to anyone who is paying attention that the Ibrox klanbase are largely incapable of laughing at themselves.

It’s ok, that’s what the rest of us are here for!

In the aftermath of the hilarious failure, the think skinned souls who follow Sevco have been easy pickings.

The featured image is a Tweet from Irish airline Ryanair.

To say that it triggered the klan would be to indulge in weapons-grade understatement.

The person running the Ryanair Twitter account knew that they had reeled them in and played them mercilessly.

Europe’s largest airline has now been included in that Ibrox game for the whole dysfunctional family:

Priceless!

Of course, it wasn’t long until the Hoops fraternity on Twitter joined in the ribbing.

I was reminded that in the dark days of the early 1990s  the closing song from the Life of Brian became the anthem at the old Parkhead.

the ability to laugh at yourself is the seen of a well-formed human.

You can tell a lot about a subculture when you analyse what THEY find amusing.

Now today at Hampden Giovanni van Bronckhorst and his chaps stand on the cusp of immortality.
