More Blue Room manoeuvres

It wouldn’t be a proper Friday night on Planet Fitba if there weren’t some shenanigans at Sevco.

The in-house pr guru is now on the board.

That he can also bring in much-needed liquidity to keep the lights on makes him a significant player now in the Ibrox firmament.

Mr George Letham finally leaves the stage; he stepped up in early 2014 at the time of the Laxey loan.

He put his own money into the basket of assets and continued to do so, a genuine guy doing it for the right reasons.

I contacted a well-placed source about this appointment, and he messaged me with this:

“Barclay is shoring up the Blue Room against King”.

Some of this is being played out in plain sight with the Johannesburg based ex-chairman briefing against the current regime.

However, as with all of this, it is advisable to follow follow the money.
That is what would be happening if there was a functioning Fourth Estate on Planet Fitba.

Sadly, the succulent rules are still in place and if it can’t be spun as a good news story at Ibrox then it doesn’t run.

  1. Obv the vast majority of Celtic supporters despise Sevco & everything they stand for(some of the board excluded but inc myself). If they do liquidate, where does that leave us financially?Where do we go from there?OK,no Klub but the financial implications for us could be enormous. I’m no expert but just a thought.

  2. Well, it has been apparent since day 1 that DUPman has not brought PR skills to Ibrox, so he must be getting promoted to the Board for other, valuable reasons.

Suppose they could quietly drop the “Everyone Anyone” PR nonsense now…?
