Frequently a source of disturbance to public order

The title of this piece is a quote apparently attributed to Gérald Darmanin, the French Minister of the Interior.

He was referring to the Ibrox klanbase.

You can read it here.

Dear reader, this is a truth that dare not speak its name in Fair Caledonia.

There was a glimmer of truth in the aftermath of the George Square riot in May.

Even the usually obedient copy and paste professionals on the Stenography Corps were shocked at what unfolded that day.

Now the on-off-on again Sevco roadshow will travel to Lyon.

So a hat tip to Anthony Joseph for being across this developing story.

The scene is now set for something rather ugly to unfold in Lyon this week.

This is a very unfortunate volte-face by the French authorities.

It will only serve to feed the inchoate rage that is always omnipresent among the Ibrox klanbase.

A beautiful city will now have to cope with the Bearmacht on a  revenge mission.

It is worth noting that when Lyon were in Glasgow, the “winning friends on the journey” chaps did this to their team bus.

Hopefully, the only thumping that is handed out in Lyon on Thursday occurs on the pitch.

That’s as it should be.

It would be highly regrettable if Monsieur Darmanin had to deploy his ministry’s resources to quell the klan.

I hope that one day the chaps who follow follow the Ibrox brand will just be like the rest of us.

However, that day will not happen until the media in Scotland start telling the truth about them.

  1. Wouldn’t it be wonderfully ironic if it was French who delivered the coup de grâce on the orcs hordes and ended the financial skullduggery at the debt dome.
A tasty wee European ban would bring the curtain down no danger.

  2. Thursday night in Lyon could be an embarrassment or even disgrace.
Hope they get barred from European Competions which subsequently causes Liquidation.
New club, like the original, killed off by their own actions…

  3. Well, to be fair to the Ibrox support – with regard to this French farce,

this, I believe, is the one and only time that the blue horde could be justified for collectively foaming at the mouth!

    Superbe!

  4. People will probably be injured because of the weakness of the French government with this decision, that is if it hasn’t changed again. It made me think that this whole nightmare is the fault of one Monsieur Charles Green safely ensconced in his Normandy chateau and who has escaped any censure for creating this monster and foisting it upon us for a quick buck. Perhaps the his local villagers could do us a favour and visit his castle with lit torches and pikestaffs to seek revenge.

  5. Mousa Dembele was out injured for a couple of months and has just come back with a few late sub appearances.

Probably unrealistic to expect a total Hunskelping but a goal late on would be nice.
