Those hardy souls in Rangers Fans For Change (RFFC) were out on social media again.
This was my immediate reaction to the second PR salvo from this shadowy group.

Dear reader, until there is a face and a name to RFFC, I will stick with what an impeccably placed source has told me, i.e., it is a PR operation from the Blue Room.
Now, as I have already stated, the provenance of this spn did emanate from genuine fans within the corporate box section of the support.
Quite simply the Ibrox brand is being increasingly associated with racism.
The Kyogo incident and the Famine Siong marchers have done Sevco real reputational damage in the altered landscape after the George Square disorder of last May.
Rather than spinning they might want to look at how Chelsea FC are handling the abuse of John McGinn.

An hour ago I spoke with a source who operates as an agent in the EPL.
Consequently, he’s well connected in that world.
He told me that he expected the offender in the McGinn case to be identified very shortly.
Moreover, he hinted that apart from being a Chelsea fan, the bigot also had undeniable connections to a club in Glasgow.
No prizes for guessing which one.
The big difference between Stamford Bridge and Ibrox is that the former are not beholden to a racist subculture within their season ticket holders.

A joke with Sutton and lennon being banned from the crumbledome tonight, what can be done about it if anything
Next step is to pick their own match officials.
Time for Sky and BT to get tough.
I think they already do that .
Thought they already do
Everyone, anyone, except ?????it’s an absolute joke.
Rangers Chief Exec has just admitted that there are certain individuals not welcome at Ibrox because the club cannot guarantee their safety.
Ffs, does the club not have stewards, is there no police presence at the stadium?
I see Lennon is taking legal advice over the curtailment of his BT employment.
This development could possibly shine a very bright line on the Ibrox fan base, and their board of directors, not to mention how their sponsors might react.
Take this a bit further and if Rangers can’t guarantee the safety of opposition players on the field of play does the visiting team have to leave them out?
The SPFL and SFA should be all over this….enough said!
The SFA and SPFL are all over this.
After all it was they who gave Frankenstein’s Monster a birth certificate in 2012 with absolutely no shackles on the unruly abomination which is now causing havoc for the poor townsfolk of Hampden 🤷🏻♂️
Sorry, Phil, but supporters of Sevco, Chelsea, Hamburg SV, and (to a much lesser extent) Lazio, have a long running “affinity” and common world view. Fascists. Extremists. Nativists.;
Phil, I’ve maybe read this wrong but Chelsea n the ICF have long offiliations?
No official apology to Kyogo Furuhashi for the racist ditty yet Phil?
Looks like the banning of the culprits was merely a fire fighting damage limitation PR exercise after all.
No shocks there then.
Like yourself Phil, I’ll reserve judgement until ‘RFFC’ is proven to actually exist. It all seems rather too good to be true, not saying it’s not wanted or needed, because that’s beyond doubt; for both.
Actions from those words is what’s required, they can talk all they want and probably that’s how it’ll end up… just talk.
I’m an ageing cynic having a lifetime of hearing so many ‘new dawns’ over this issue and similar.
Phil there’s a story in the evening times online about the oo have there bigot day out in Saturday. But there’s a picture for the story that shows the loudern with all the pish flags and stuff attached, the thing is there are houses on top of it. Which strikes me as odd there’s no been house on top for years, yet the picture looks like it was taken yesterday. My question is was it Photoshop, and was it the times or someone else that done it or is there another louden in Glasgow, why did the Times publish it.
Keep at them Phil
TAL
Patrick Thistle? 😉
There is no doubt that John McGinn’s verbal abuser at Stamford Bridge has connections with a certain Glasgow club because he gave himself away in the final sentence of his tirade with the unmistakable “We are the peepul”.
I wonder how much the membership fees will be and to what account the monies will eventually end up in.
Lennon and Sutton removed from the BT team at Ibrox tonight as the Rangers Chief exec announces they could not guarantee their safety in the stadium at short notice.
What the hell. Another feather in the cap of the Ibrox support, handed down direct from their own executive.
Think this through, which I don’t think Robertson has.
So from here on in if Rangers are unhappy about the pundits team put forward by Sky or BT a late change will have to be made by the broadcaster…..is this a joke?
Sky and BT should pull the plug on covering games at Ibrox as a clear message that they will not be dictated to in this manner.
What next, hand picked officials for domestic games to be approved, or not, by the Ibrox executive?
