In troubled times it requires a few to act with good authority.

Chapeau.
This means that the Ibrox klanbase is now on Scotland’s political agenda as a serious social problem.
Meanwhile, in an entirely unconnected development, I’m told that the Serious Professional today told DUPman that he was not to put out anything about the Genocide Choir’s performance art yesterday.
Developing story…

Why doesn`t the Irish government step in here? Probably a “one is as bad as the other” retort if you asked them.
Blackshirts and shorts reminds me of Nazi youth
Morons Scotlands shame
Royal Glasgow Constabulary obviously have some influence over any events in the city. Inconceivable that they will allow thirty four OO/KKK marches to take pace around town in September. You wouldn’t even imagine a Mississippi police force permitting the Klan to flood their streets in such numbers. The Orange Order are clearly the most rancid/bigoted organisation in Europe. Their unhealthy alliance with all things Ibrox is a national concern.
Respect to James Dornan and Michael Stewart for calling out anti Irish racism displayed by supporters of the ibrox club before Sunday’s Glasgow Derby. It appears that the police and politicians are blaming each other for this current situation. Nip it in the bud before it becomes a new generational problem
This is bigoted Scotland at it’s best anti Irish and anti Catholic racism is all good according to the first minister and police Scotland, just look at George Square twice in a matter of weeks and how many arrests were made by the sevco loving police officers out of the thousands that were there and how many in that crowd are serving police officers?
So what’s changed.Police do their usual trick by issuing a statement, parliament do nothing, and Scotland continues along the same lines.Next part of the act, include Celtic supporters with them, and it’s the same old story.Scottish police force medical must exclude eyesight and hearing tests,as they don’t hear or see anything.Looks as though they are only trained to join marchers on hate filled mobs.
Scotland the greatest little country in the world
If the catholic community are really valued it’s time we stop their marches across the city… their full of hate racism anti Catholics etc
Good luck to him, but I don’t see anything happening. “Civic Scotland” can cluck all it wants but the problem is that the press, broadcast media, local & national bureaucracy and (in particular) the police have long been infiltrated by members of the Freemasons and/or LOL and thus nothing is ever done beyond the initial clucks of outrage then under the Lodge’s carpet it is brushed. Soon to be joined with the next incident of hunnish proclivity, and the next, and the next, and on and on it goes, for us ad nauseam.
This is what keeps the marches on our streets. This is what allows the “survival lie” to be spoken without question. This is why they do what they do time and again without worrying about consequences…because there won’t be any.
It’s “Us” against “Them” and “Them” is in control. A bared nipple is as good as a rolled-up trouser leg to condemn the rest of Scotland to this sickening existence for many years to come. That these swine are the old biddy in the Palace’s de facto enforcers here, willing to violently “defend” her precious union at the drop of something green, ensures no interference from our English overlords….
Terrific comment, Seppington, to a post we’re all very aware of.
Without carrying ‘arms’, I’ve made some adjustments.
I stopped paying for Scottish ‘news’papers many years ago and wrote to their editors explaining why.
I’ve told the BBC they are out of order on several occasions and told them I’d stop paying the Licence Fee. I actually DID, (stop paying the Licence Fee) but it was so worrying to my wife I relented. I’ve told them again this year and I will NOT relent this time.
Sometimes, ‘voting with one’s feet’ actually works.
Will Murdo Fraser speak up in agreement with Mr Dornan’s highlighting of this major issue, of course he will as will all decent non bigotted politicians. So let us see.
Tories in Scotland have been courting Rangers fanbase in recent years in an attempt to foster sectarian division in Scottish society Started with Ruth Davidson waving Union Jack on top of a tank and now has Murdo Fraser defending all things Rangers in press and it emboldens anti-Irish racists.
Other political parties and media have, with some exceptions, been too happy to sweep under carpet but as these actions become more blatant this becomes more difficult to do.
I am sorry to say that for all its imperfections the repealing of the OBFA (with no alternative being suggested) has also resulted in an upsurge in this behaviour – take a bow Mr James Kelly MSP.
That’s why in Scotland alone they stand at elections under the name The Conservative and Unionist Party.
They are looking solely for the Protestant and Orange vote, especially in the West and Central belt.
I’ll not hold my breath……
I don’t know why they can’t see that the club are the problem. A DUP man as their PR man says it all really. What would the SMSM have said if celtic hired a sinn fein councillor , with no PR experience as their spokesman.
Are they also forgetting that the original Rangers had a no Catholic signing policy for most of the 20th century.
The good name of the football club….. WTF
The football club depends on this N@zi youth to survive, gie’s peace it’s the normal historical mince that we have to put with every day in bonnie Scotland….
I wasn’t aware that the club ha a “good name” to lose. Apart from that, good work by the MSP.
Feels a little like jumping on a bandwagon after all its this SNP Government that agreed to give the orange order exemption from the hate crime bill under ” freedom of expression” and have also allowed a series of walks for them to celebrate them (the orange order that is) defeating the SNP in the independance referendum on the 10 year anniverssary.
The SNP have done more to make me, a former SNP member and Irish Catholic desendant, in Scotland, feel unwanted and not part of this ommunity
Would it be rude of me to suggest that no one of a Catholic Irish background hold their breath on this?
I certainly won’t be.
Meanwhile…
Good on Mr Dornan for taking them to task all the same let’s us all hope he is backed unanimously by those sat around him in the Parliament and in those Bodies highlighted.
Bravo sir 👏🏻
What about Nicola Sturgeon? She doesn’t say much yet her constituency consists mainly of Irish, Indian, Pakistani and Romany Slovakians. Not many WASPS living there so not much danger of losing her seat if she speaks freely.
I’m not an admirer of Sturgeon so probably best asking someone who is DH.
She’s just a closet Tartan Thatcher to me.
I believe Gerrard’s wife is Catholic. Why does the club not put their manager forward to appeal to the fans base to drop the religious and anti Irish racism?
