As regular readers will be well aware the current iteration of Rangers came into being in 2012 partly because of the intervention of HMRC.
The original Ibrox club could not pay overdue taxes to Hector, and the CVA was duly blocked.
Liquidation was the result.

However, after accidentally telling the truth about the death of Rangers the Stenography Corps bought into the Orwellian pretence that it didn’t really happen.
Since Charles Green created the new club (Sevco Scotland Limited) your humble correspondent has been alert to any whiff of a tax liability reappearing at Ibrox.

Today an impeccably well-placed source confirmed to me what I had already been told previously by another informant.
Now that I have “double sourced” the story I can publish with confidence.
My information is that Sevco, around the time of the first lockdown, owed a substantial seven-figure sum to HMRC.
I know the exact amount but have agreed not to publish that figure.
My source told me today that the outstanding monies “are being paid down on a staged basis”.
Once more, I am fully apprised of the size of these instalments and the frequency. of the payments.
This news dovetails in rather neatly what I have been recently told about the issues around RIFC’s year-end accounts and the somewhat problematic opinions of their auditors.
However, that is for another day.

How long can they keep running on empty? Something is seriously wrong here or the Straits are not as Dire as we hoped.
Your sources are full of fkn shite ya abhorrent amoeba. Come back to scotland and write your drivel to your gullable and just fkn downright stupid followers but you wont. Your in hiding in provo land cos you know what would happen if you came back. Coward.
Do you ever write anything about your own sordid club? What about the millions and millions of pounds your horrible club will be faced with paying or does your sources tell you its fuck all to with pacific shelf 94 because they are seperate entities?
An obsessed, vile bullshitter of a man. I actually feel sorry for the dafties who believe your fucking shite!
Deid klub still peddling the Deludamol Mr Jeffrey? Only an obsessive would post such drivel on a Celtic man’s blog. I know you have to get your information from somewhere though. BTW, ask Santa for a dictionary. 😂😂😂 HH
Do you not feel a bit silly now Mr Jeffrey?
Have a look at the accounts that have just been released from Sevco, Hector is after them for £millions in taxes, you should be ashamed at this, instead you try to shoot the messenger. Come to this site for the truth.
Boy this is some display of ignorance! How low can you get ? Delusion? Bigotry. Dangerously so!
Better hurry erecting that statue to Dave King, when this breaks there will be no protecting that.!
HMRC must have some accounts details to be able to understand what is owed so they must have something to go on. Maybe an internal audit by HMRC as no returns listed.
Would this be most likely an agreement started last year? No wonder they are working under the covers.
No walk in or corporate box revenue, hospital or pie selling and shirts that have been falling to bits, more shares confetti, no big player sales and none likely, can they feasibly finish the season? Big Mike is coming and Hummel….
Do Amazon sell Jelly and Ice cream.
Deja vu, again?!
Typically, the very last person you want to delay paying is Hector.
This would also indicate that RIFC/TRFC suppliers have seriously overdue payments piling up as well.
Would any suppliers now revert to the courts to recover overdue RIFC payments?
Overdue HMRC and supplier payments… all that’s missing are ‘creative’ player payments and ineligible players!
And whilst CFC has issued its Accounts for ’19/’20 and is now publicising its AGM,
the SMSM has obediently avoided even mentioning the ‘missing’ RIFC Accounts.
[RIFC had no logistical reason for extending its submission deadline to March.]
The RIFC Accounts would have been created to the normal timetable – just as CFC has done.
There must be be a very good reason why RIFC is choosing to delay issuing its Accounts publicly. 🙂
Nice one brought a smile to this nearly old Garngad face Hail Hail 🇮🇪 Phil, Stay safe 🇮🇪
I wish I was surprised but I am not. I’m also quickly losing loyalty with our board. I can’t afford to pay for a season ticket for a sport thats pretty much all sown up. I’m sick of the reek of corruption and the more I inhale the more I smell Lawell and Desmonds stale aftershave. The shares we bought were to own a piece of our club nothing major, just to own a piece of something that my dad passed to me and I will pass on, but thats being destroyed with the sanitisation of the AGM, the dismissal of Res12 now Res11, the denial of the knowledge of the content in the 5WA and the way we have rolled over on compliance, officiating and double standards in the treatment of isolation for covid. I fear our board were complicit in allowing a new club being called the same club because the OF tag makes us money.
Since when is corruption not a concern for our business interests. Our business is sport and when things are not on an even field then that is a risk to the business.
Our fans are not mugs and I pray that we can force change like we did before. Its time we shook these cronies down and got them out.
HMRC cometh and
HMRC taketh away.
sevco an epiphany FC.
If the unpaid tax bill was overdue in the summer should they have had a UEFA Cup place?
It sounds like they had an agreed repayment plan.
In 2011 they had an overdue demand but no repayment plan.
The former is okay with UEFA but the latter not.
Stand to be corrected by ITK posters.
Doesn’t matter if it’s agreed repayment plan, it’s still financial cheating as it gives Newco Rangers an unfair advantage over other football clubs who have to live within their means. Especially during a virus pandemic.
Shelling out lots of money on player’s wages which in turn they can’t afford to pay the tax authorities upfront and on time. Where have I heard that one before?
Interesting. Makes it even more important that Celtic’s latest response on AGM Notice in respect of taking up licensing issues from 2011 is in earnest and not empty rhetoric.
Great scoop Phil,I wonder if that double checking threads with TWO sources thingy could catch on with the daily blatts in Scotland?
Nah,silly me that’d never catch on because it makes way too much sense.
‘Publish and be damned’ seems more apt for the stenographers or they print it on the front page then have ‘selective memory disorder’
Cheers Phil and thanks again🇮🇪
All Hail Hector.!! ✅👋👋👋🍀
Are they cunningly using cv19 as a way of helping their cash flow as one last push to stop Glasgows 2nd oldest club, Partick being 1st, from achieving 10 iar?
Or are they just screwed?
This may cause a run on Jelly and Ice Cream futures…
Hi Phil
Does anyone know if the first incarnation of the team from Ibrox ever had bother in issuing the year end financials?
It’s beginning to look a Lot like Christmas, what a cheery number…. and now we have the gift that keeps on giving contributing to the good cheer, it looks like a merry old time lies ahead…
Always first with the news, Cheers Phil.
Won’t butter Celtic’s bread if we can’t get the points on the league table to win the league.Rangers financial woes aren’t reflected on the football pitch this year to date.
