I’m told that a few chaps in the Soaraway Sun might have trouble sitting down at the moment.
That’s because they took a severe arse-kicking this morning from a couple senior people at Celtic apropos the Frimpong nonstory.
This yarn emerged two was around two months ago, and the Parkhead club shot it down as utterly without foundation.
Consequently, Celtic were amazed when this Jackanory popped up yesterday.
My take on this, for what it is worth, is it is very much a case of the Stenography Corps talking one for their team.
As I had previously suggested, the firefighting effort from Ibrox was likely to involve an attempt to deflect from the Sevco house party scandal.
My information so that there are pics out there and that they have been offered for sale to several media outlets.
A cynic might conclude that the Scottish media are in united in their desire to kill this story.
Of course, I couldn’t possibly comment.
I understand that Sevco’s PR Superhero DUPman has recently been taking professional advice on this matter from a Stormont SPAD.
Interestingly, I’m told that this dignified advisor was involved in the RHI scandal right up to his sash.
For the avoidance of doubt, those chaps are expert at burning money!

A wicked deflection is focusing on a subbed player looking at his phone while the team stroll around with no fight. Once he is subbed off he can’t influence the game and only those on the park can show a bit of professionalism and try to win the game. Blaming a player in the stands is pure deflection from the real problem and that is the manager who can’t get his selection and tactics right nor get his player up for it.
