Impending doom via Zoom

As ever with Sevco there is a back story.

The following fragment is all that I have at this late hour.

No doubt some intrepid chap on the Stenography Corps already knows the full details.

However, they have to play to different rules from your humble correspondent.

If I can stand it up, then you will read about here.

So, with the important caveat that I don’t know the whole story, here goes:

The bottom line was that is that there was a dignified conclave involving the main players in the Sevco High Command.

Me Let’s Go and his agent were also connected.

My information is that a pretty bleak picture that was painted of Sevco’s immediate financial situation.

Quite simply there had to be a deferral of wages.

Moreover, I’m sure that the Serious Professional and his dignified colleagues will be able to get the necessary documentation for the Furlough payments.

There is a treasure trove of stories to be excavated about this situation at Ibrox.

However, don’t expect the local media to go near them.

Stay safe all of ye.

Sa bháile…

  1. Fair play to Graham Spiers yesterday for calling out that clown’s Alistair Johnston’s 1/2 title and asterisk Celtic claim for this season.
Besides the years of EBT cheating with trophies won by illegally registered players, not imperfect as made up by Bryson, he was on the Rangers board when the fraudulent UEFA licence application was made in 2012.
Whoever signed that declaration has committed serious criminal fraud. The evidence is plain for all to see yet no action has been taken.
Perhaps Mr Maxwell could waken from his slumber and put this wrong to right as he wasn’t about when the crime was committed so his hands are clean in this respect unlike others still walking the corridors of Ibrox and Hampden, not forgetting those who have done a runner in the meantime.
Come on Ian show us what you are made of!

  2. @phil, unless the history research of the internet is a falsehood, …… I see one of their “54” was a title awarded after FIVE games, due to WWII. If this is the factually the case your followers need their humble correspondent to make the KKKlan aware that their “history” doesn’t just include ebt titles, cheating, sectarianism, racist, malevolent skulduggery and financial corruption of a Bearings scale and it includes an asterisk titles.

So when they go mental, and whip out their enemies of Rangers list, Politely reminded them, they’re actually an 8 year old club and you were merely helping with the acceptance stage of the grief and in order to do this they must first accept they were awful prior to death.

We should never forget they way they were prior to 2012 with their smiling, unchallenged racist smiles bellowing, during a bouncy.
Not that it’s changed a single iota….. but Ran3ers……would see their moderates disband

    • Not quite correct. The old First AND Second Divisions were ABANDONED after five games in September 1939. Emergency leagues with an east west split were set up. Rangers won the Western Division and beat Falkirk in a play-off for the overall title.

  3. Ripping up the pitch is that essential work during these times, Rangers board putting life’s at risk and not a word from the daily rag.

    • Why haven’t the police intervened as they did quite rightly with the CMO, and issued both a warning and an instruction to cease this non essential work forthwith?

      Reply
      • They probably told the polis that they are creating an allotment, to grow fruit and veg to feed the local community! 😂

    • This is in direct defiance of the Scottish Government guidelines. Only work on hospitals, infrastructure or emergency repairs should be carried out.

Of more interest to me, however, is where exactly are they finding the money for this work.

  4. Just when you think that the blue side can’t be any more stupid there is a post tonight by one of their fans making out a case to null and void the SPFL league now as a mark of respect to those who have died or are ill due to the coronavirus.
You can hear the insincerity dripping from the post from a mile away.
Can’t win it on the park lets drag the victims of the pandemic into it.
As Celtic go past 9 IAR and 10 IAR, throw in another couple of cup wins, God knows what state they will be in as Celtic become the most successful club in the world.
For the record I find that claim embarrassing when the trophy haul doesn’t include at least one European Cup/Champions League.

  5. Can UEFA please explain how a NEWCO can get all the records and titles of an OLDCO that is LIQUIDATED?

Can UEFA also explain how titles can be retained when The UK Supreme Court of Appeal determines that a Club won them unlawfully by cheating on their social tax to a record level? To give themselves a sporting advantage to win titles and prizemonies.

UEFA turns a criminal blind eye on national associations when it feels like it. It jumps in with both feet when it feels like it too.

    • If the scare story in yesterday’s Sun is even half correct then football in particular, and all other sports, will be decimated if social distancing continues for the rest of 2020.
Who is going to buy a ST in that environment, who is going to take the risk of going to the stadium as an individual, or with children?

    • I’m sure Mr Park told the Klan last week that people are ready to plough loadsamoney (As Harrry Enfield once said ) into the club . Now why has the two bob Scottish press mugs not pushed for some answers on this . If this money was there the PANIC would never have been pressed . Ah the gullibles don’t you just love it to see them getting CHISELED again . The funny thing about it is though it’s always one of their doing it . But hey they suck this stuff up they would rather have one of their own bump them than somebody else at least that way they know who is doing the CHISLING and they praise them for it as well. You couldn’t make it up .

  6. I’ve been advised that Mr.Cerefin…of UEFA fame….has been offered a senior position by the SFA.
It would appear that the way he makes an absolute arse of things….is totally in keeping with the way the SFA operate.
They have also assured him that having to be vetted as “Fit & Proper ” is no longer a requirement…and cite Alasdair Johnson
    as an example.

  7. Sorry to state the obvious, there is 1 man that could make a statement and sort this, Peter Lawell. Instead of spoon feeding the supporters with “we rise above all this” what he is actually telling us is, he needs the blue pound and will not do anything to rock the boat. The Celtic supporters should be pressing him to get the answers.
In my opinion he should come out and tell the supporters, one way or another, if the Celtic board need the blue pound. If it is the case that we do, supporters can then decide for themselves if that want to continue lining pockets of the big shareholders.

  8. Newco – Zero Titles.

    Oldco – 49 Titles + 5* EBT cheated Titles.

5* means they were cheated, as legally declared in The Supreme Court and therefore belong to Celtic.

    Hail Hail.

We know who won’t be getting title 2019/20….SEVCO.

    • Great, points, ….. if I can add – one of their 54 had a season as the war started……it was cut short after FIVE games and they were given the title. Really need that on @Phils twitter feed.

  9. “…There is a treasure trove of stories to be excavated about this situation at Ibrox…”

I’ve been pondering over this sentence.
    Is it a euphemism?

My best guess: they had hired a JCB to dig up, (and ruin), the pitch – looking for that elusive ‘warchest’…?

    Reply
    • Well, seeing how at the end of every rainbow with a pot of gold being guarded by a leprechaun, there are at least two good reasons for the quagmire that masquerades as a pitch over there:

      1) they dont want any fenians on their tattie field.
      2) they have been digging for that big pot of gold to try to get their accounts looking part way decent.

      😂😂😂

  10. Alastair Johnston must have astronomical electricity bills. With his latest comments, he has displayed beyond any shadow of a doubt that the lights are indeed on, but there is nobody in!!

When this idiot is passed as fit and proper by the sfa, then I will listen to what he has to say. Until that happens, he should shut his stupid mouth, senile old fool.

  11. Just had confirmation that Johnston has still not passed the SFA fit and proper test. This has been going on for years with no end in sight. Hey Maxwell, waken up!
It would appear that there are some serious questions posed by the SFA about that infamous UEFA application made by Rangers where they stated that they had no overdue tax liabilities when clearly they had.
Now if Johnston signed off on this why has the SFA not reported the matter to Police Scotland fraud squad?
They are the sports governing body and have in their possession clear evidence that a serious fraud has been perpetrated.
Why has nothing been done about it?

  12. Further to Johnston’s half title and asterisk remarks people like him only see what they want to see and should engage brain before opening their bit mouths.
In season 1890/91 Rangers and Dumbarton after finishing level on points shared that first ever league title.
Funnily enough you never hear anyone on the blue side claiming that this seasons they are going for 54 1/2 and not 55, no siree Bob but from here on in lets get the facts right and call it as it is.

    • I hate to be a pedantic, but since the season consists of 38 matches, and 30 of them have been played, then Celtic will have won 8¾ titles, and the huns would be GOING FOR 54¾ in their 8 years of existence. I dont know what’s more embarrassing – the stupidity of the klan, or the fact that Johnston is an ACCOUNTANT?!! 😂😂😂

  13. Alisdair fecking Johnston and his 8 1/2 in a row plus an asterisk.
Is this the same Alisdair Johnston that for reasons unknown to us never passed the SFA fit and proper test and I’ve read nothing to the contrary since.
Lets play that game then and not just put an asterik against the trophies won by Oldco during the EBT cheating years but strip them away entirely.
And lets not stop there. Whoever at Ibrox signed off on the paperwork submitted to the SFA supporting Rangers entry to that seasons UEFA tournaments should be arrested and charged with criminal fraud.
In terms of usefulness Johnston can be filed in the same category as Maxwell, Doncaster, Ogilvie and Gordon Smith.

They are calling them cheats using other People’s money not paying their tax you could not make this . The auld club the Klan supported did exactly just that and they have the brass neck to call out others. This mob deserves everything that’s heading their way the tea-cosy and beanie wearers with their funny hats there is just no hope for them .

  15. Two things guaranteed now. Firstly stand by for a list of potential incoming transfer targets splashed over the media followed by an even longer list of potential suitors for Morelos, Barasic and Kamara.
    Add others as you wish.
If the transfer window due to open in June is put on hold it will be a disaster for clubs needing to sell to survive.

    Reply
    • Having players to sell is one thing. But, having the money to buy players is another. Who will have cash to spend on the level of talent at Sevco.
      Looking forward to Third Rangers

    • Regardless of WHEN the Transfer Window opens there will be few clubs in the position to spend money . Indeed the ridiculous transfer fees which the EPL ( and others ) paid previously will be a thing of the past . No club is likely to be bailed out by selling on a player at an inflated fee – so More-or-less will have to see out his days at Ibrokes – if , that is , they still exist in one form or another !
