This just might amount to a sporting advantage.

With the general consensus that Morelos is now a busted flush, even amongst the blue side fans, I see the sale of Barasic to Spurs for 22 million will be the answer to their financial issues and also provide the cash for investment in next seasons squad.
Given that there is no sign of the £10m required to see out the season, no sign of the fresh investment mooted by Alex Rae, no further share issue on the horizon, silence from South Africa, Sports Direct legal action, ditto Hummel and Elite, you would think that with trading losses mounting year on year, that investing in the squad will be challenging to say the least.
A similar loss to last year will surely bring UEFA and FFP into the picture and someone scribbling numbers on the back of a fag packet showing a healthy profit in the 6 monthly interims should be laughed out of town, though given that might need some SFA activity there is no guarantee that questions will be asked of the numbers and we will see a repeat of last years positive half year interims followed by an audited £12m plus loss.
I wonder if we will inherit the Rangers claim to be the most successful team in world football history?

Events have proved that when you hire a rookie you get rookie results. Slippy was an unders manager and knew next to nothing about the Scottish game, though that can’t be said of his large entourage erm I mean back-room team.
