However, this thing plays out in court today the issue of the convict Chairman extant.
Except for the Conveyancing Consigliere, I am not aware of a single vote for King in the Blue Room.
Quite simply, they want him gone.
This entire shitshow with Big Mike is all King’s doing.
It is very much “the war of Dave’s Ego”.
So, there is almost unanimity in the Sevco High Command for the need for a bit of boardroom regicide.
However, it is easier said than done.
Like most things at Sevco, it comes down to money.
Mr King remains a substantial shareholder at RIFC.
The thing is, there currently isn’t the money within the Blue Room to buy him out.
At the time of writing, Dave is still down at Companies House as RIFC chairman.
With the Cold Shoulder now in place, it is increasingly important that King steps down.
I can’t think that the folks at Barclays Bank are cool with his presence at RIFC.
Of course, none of this really registers with the Ibrox klanbase.
They, quite rightly, believe that their team has a chance of the title this season.
They look across the city and see the Untitled Director of Football back to his old ways.
There is no doubt that Celtic has the financial muscle to blow away any title challenge in Scotland.
Therefore, their baby steps into the transfer market appear puzzling.
Consequently, complacency and hubris at Parkhead remain Sevco’s greatest hope.
I’m told from an impeccable source close to Neil Lennon, that the Celtic manager has asked for three new players this January.
They fall into the category of “first team starters”.
Only time will tell if Patryk Klimala is one of them.

If Sevco does get over the line in this title race, then it will be the result that the Stenography Corps have been praying for since they discovered the existence of the “Engine Room Subsidiary” in 2012.
Perhaps they are not alone in lamenting the death of Rangers eight years ago.

It is almost as if someone at Kerrydale Street once had a dream of selling “the Old Firm” to England as a package and has unconsciously never given up on the idea.

Almost…

Difficult Dave will now leave the distressed new club with the big SDIR bill arriving after he’s departed.
Well done the conveyancing factotum.
I’m sure Jabba and the lawyer are both out the door and off the wages bill in February too.
I’ve counted four players bundled out the door so far.
Why does SEVCO need the injunction relaxed to deal with Elite?
Surely they should settle the ‘many millions’ awarded to SDIR and the very next day are free to deal with Elite as the injunction is lifted permanently?
This is how it should be done.
Give Ashley his millions on a Monday thereafter negotiate your return payments to Elite the next day.
I wonder, when King’s time is up on this earth…
will he regret all the – time, effort, frustrations, bad publicity, his own money, OPM – that he has spent on numerous court actions over the years?
If he had actually played with a straight bat throughout his working life, would he be a happier, smiling person today?
He’ll still probably die a rich man… with a highly dubious legacy.
If, and it’s not as big an IF as it once was, Sevco win the SPFL, there is no hiding place for Lawwell. The fantastic treble treble years will not save him.
His negligence (or perhaps, his instructions from further up the chain) will not be forgiven by the fans. Those fat dividends that have dropped into the bank accounts of those in the comfy seats will disappear as quickly as the blankets covering seats will reappear.
You have 15 days more Mr Lawwell. Do not waste it and do not insult our intelligence by saying that you tried to spend money.
I have been having the very same thoughts as yourself no hiding place for LIEWELL and his chums on the board . The money train will come to a severe halt if we lose this league unless our fans are as gulllibe as those KLAN members .
If it’s not your rotten bennys patter it’s random words in uppercase. You’re driving us nuts with your drivel. Give it a rest
As I said before opinions are like arseholes everybody has one . It’s good I have your ATTENTION and the fact you have used the word SCUD in your name means I’m doing exactly what it says on the tin . It’s good to know I’m living inside your head. I’m keeping my posts to football chat so I dont understand why I have ruffled some feathers . Maybe there are some BENNY’S in disguise on here .
Personally speaking, I think the judge was having a little joke. Sevco are the ultimate “Gordian knot” and cannot be undone by legal means. This will run until after the league has been decided. As the Eagles would have us believe “They stab it with their steely knives…
If the CHISLING chairman is holding all the aces at sevco 12 million quid in shares and 5 million quid loaned to the new club he could bankrupt them again if he was to cash in his chips . Now talk about pressure or he could just give them away at a knockdown price to some gullibles like club 1872 .

Can kicked down the road by a naughty problem raised.
Ruse to Allow King to leave club in two weeks. Thereafter the injunction will ‘stand’.
Injunctions are such to stop TRFC negotiating with Elite. That’s the whole point of an injunction, d’oh!
Said it before and will again. Celtic pushing the boat out is like cracking a nut with a sledgehammer. They don’t need any more players to win the SPL and buying players for another round in Europe is a waste of cash. Shareholders profit is king.
What Celtic do need is a manager that knows what he is doing and playing cheapskate in this department is folly.
I disagree. I think this team can be improved. We have not dropped many points but neither have sevco. I don’t things will change in the second half of the season. We may have to beat sevco twice to win this league.
I would rather we invested in the team rather than having money in the bank.
Totally agree and up until now I have been swithering but I have now come out against Lennon. What did it for me was his recent praise of Sved as if his ability was not obvious to everyone for months, If he had only swapped Forrest for Sved we would not have been in this league position, Frimpong and Sved will make a formidable team on the right. Taylor and Hayes on the left should settle that wing. We also need a poacher that Edouard ( maybe Griffiths would do although I think he has seen better days) can feed and we are set. Ajer should be put into the midfield as he seems to be the only one comfortable running forward with the ball. The players, for the most part, are there but needed to be used properly.
Running off the ball and being quicker on it must be coached and enforced.
I don’t believe that anyone at Celtic would have scored the goal Kent did i.e. hitting it first time. They would have wanted to steady and turn towards the goal giving the defence time to recover. It is one incident but a telling one, I think.
You mean like Morgan did against Cluj?
Hasn’t he gone?
If you mean the one against Rennes, in my opinion it was not quite the same.
i have wondered for the last 6 months, if behind the scenes at sevco, will DCK give his shareholding to big Mike to cover any financial dispute re the court hearing. this would mean the dave clown king walks away without loosing to much money, and sevco get rid of the cold shouldered one, and inplace have mike ashley on board, with his financial clout, and the SDI selling power for there jerseys in future. this might not be what they want, but they might see it as the best outcome all round. that way they may not have to go into administration. just a thought.
anyway, love the great work you put in Phil. keep up the good work
Big Mike wouldn’t get involved in a transaction with the GASL, on account of him being cold shouldered.
id like to think not, but i had been wondering how they were going to try and weasel there way out of this clusterfuck this time
You have forgotten that The SFA went in to bat for King against Ashley and forced him to relinquish/or vastly reduce (that part of my own memory is clouded) his shareholding or they would drop him and Newcastle in the Doo Doo by reporting him to UEFA regards the duel ownership rules.
The SFA went in to bat for a convicted criminal.
I recently spoke to a couple of Newcastle fans who said almost exactly that. In fact they indicated it is an opinion that is widely held down there.
