Apparently, Sevco has been “inundated” with interest for their captain James Tavernier.
Moreover, putative value is reported at £10m.

If I didn’t know any better I would think that the Sevco High Command might be expecting a very large bill in the post from Big Mike.
The most recent court ruling on the retail dispute can be read here.
I passed the public document to several people who can hopefully give me a professional read on it in due course.
Their initial response was that Sports Direct had won on all counts.
Respected court reporter James Doleman had this initial response to the Judge’s remarks:

One well-placed insider who spoke to me this evening pointed out that the meter was still running on this case.
My information is that Ashley has his legal team on a daily retainer.
Moreover, if this drags on past July 1st then a new trading year starts regarding the disputed merchandise.
I asked my guy what he thought Ashley’s next move would be and he said that an Enforcement Order was possible.
Of course, as stated in the judgment Sevco could seek leave to appeal.
However, they would need to give legitimate grounds for this to happen.
If they are successful then it buys time for the Sevco High Command, but at a cost.

It would appear that General Ashley is happy to allow the chaps in the Blue Room to keep digging the hole a bit deeper every day

Bears having difficulties comprehending the latest court judgement. Comments range from:
“Ashley is a tarrier plant”
“Ashley will stick around to ensure ‘them’ get to 10 in a row.”
“Just keep on appealing until we get a sympathetic judge. ”
“Everything is OK. We have still got the elite deal.”
They also appear to have difficulty accepting that the contract was signed by the current Ibrox regime and are complaining that the judge should have seen that the contract was signed by those who did not have the best interests of the new club at heart and therefore they should be released from their liabilities.
Nobody has yet raised the possibility of legal action by either (or both) Hummel and Elite should Ashley successfully shut down their operation. That possibility has yet to enter their consciousness, either that or it is, once again, head in the sand time. Meanwhile the Scottish press continues to ignore this whole issue while suggesting that the Ibrox club are considering a £3M move for an Anderlecht player and are about to gazzump Celtic by matching the £3 fee and offering better terms to David Turnbull.
It would appear that it is not only the ordinary fans who’s heads are in the sand but the lap top loyal have all simultaneously decided to pay homage to Jock Wallace by face planting themselves in the famous sand dune at Gullane.
Gordon Waddell is a total embarrassment and he takes every opportunity to have a go at Celtic.
The Turnbull affair being his latest vehicle after Celtic’s post about the offer made to the player.
Looks as if the lad will be denied a move to the 8 IAR Champions and instead will disappear into obscurity in the English Championship as his agent tries to maximise his own personal gain from the transfer rather than giving his client the opportunity to develop further surrounded by a number of other young Scottish players and the opportunity to win silverware.
How about Tavernier or/and Morelos to Newcastle at zero cost with Ashley tearing up the merchandising contract in return?
It’s like watching a train crash with the longest train ever built on Betamax frame by frame…7 years down the line and the end isn’t even in sight yet!
Oh my ribs.
I replaced my ribs back in 2012, titanium ones. Do a great job, they have more than coped with the sevco shambles.
Perhaps the following musical interlude would be appropriate?…

I’m sure Mr King will appreciate it’s lyrical content.
Liquidation 2 & NL9IAR……..Carlberg don’t do Nirvana moments but if they did…..
You can’t be liquidated twice.
They can… same club, remember?!! 😆
Not liquidation, simple purchase of a distressed basket of assets by a very rich man looking to become a folk hero.
Potentially worrying for Celtic in a few years.
Dream on.
