General Ashley takes aim at the House of Sevco

If anyone was surprised by the swift ruthlessness of Sports Direct with the House of Fraser officer corps then they haven’t been paying attention.

You can read about it here.

If the business world is a form of warfare then General Ashley certainly does not recognise the Geneva Convention.

Having achieved victory in the boardroom Big Mike clearly wasn’t in the mood for taking prisoners at the once august Scottish department store giant.

With that in mind, no one should be shocked that General Ashley has already prepared his legal shock troops to put down the recent Ibrox retail insurgency.

If anyone thinks that the House of Sevco will be treated with leniency then they’re utterly deluded.

  1. Couldn’t agree more with Brendan when he said that he will play the game anywhere, but it’s the process that arrived at the decision that he’d unhappy with.
We know that within the SFA and SPFL their are individuals who are anti Celtic and McCrae publicly voiced his views on Celtic’s domination of the domestic trophies.
James Forrest’s latest article touches on anti Celtic bias which rymed with a scene from Blazing Saddles where the foreman was recruiting workers to build the railway………take the Mexicans, take the Niggers, but no Irish!
Let’s go to Murrayfield and give Hearts and the SPFL/SFA a bloody nose.
Then let’s play the final in Edinburgh as well as we now know that the contractual agreement can be overcome by passing monies between the SPFL, SFA and SRU.
Hampden is a shithole yet a couple of weeks after announcing that it would remain as the national stadium Maxwell hasn’t followed that up with details of how the rebuilding will be financed.
No doubt the mega farce around the semi final timings will have prospective sponsors giving our football authorities a wide berth as they can’t be trusted to complete even the simplest of tasks.
We have had a week of Doncaster lying through his teeth about the reasons why one of the ties could not be switched, how can we believe anything coming from his mouth in future?
He’s guilty of gross misconduct which is a sacking offence and he should be following his mate Regan out the door.

  2. Madden’s getting the Celtic/Hearts semi?
Surely this is a bad joke or are the SFA having a go at Celtic after the uproar following Madden’s failure to send McKenna off for gbh at the weekend.

  3. Here we go again. McKenna cited, Aberdeen shocked and will appeal the 2 match ban offered.
They should have been shocked that Madden didn’t show him a straight red as he was the only one in the stadium who missed McKenna’s two footed assault on Edouard.
Perhaps Aberdeen will support their appeal with video evidence from the Morelos, McGregor and Naismith kick outs?
Be interesting to hear Madden’s view of events because if he had a clear view of the incident, before waving play on, his days as a Grade 1 ref should be terminated with immediate effect.
Week in, week out, we see diabolical decisions by the men in black, sponsored by Specsavers no less.
The irony would be funny but teams drop points as a result or get knocked out of a cup.
Is this the best Fleming can do? All those years in charge of the refs and not one single outstanding official has come through the system.
How can that be? How much longer do we have to put up with the gross incompetence shown by Madden at the weekend?
The SFA and SPFL need to be cleansed. Why do we need two authorities in the first place?
A professional CEO has to be appointed by the clubs to take the game by the scruff of the neck and bring it into the real world.
Combining the two bodies will provide a platform in terms of salary to attract a true leader instead of the dross that’s been served up now and in the past.
The semi final farce is proof, if any was needed, that Hampden is a shambles and in timing the semi finals as they did they clearly showed that Scottish football fans, the beating heart of our game, are being treated as trash and are completely disregarded by the Hampden blazers.
Time for change, when are the clubs going to act and rid us of these clowns?

  4. Ashley appears to be the only one that can bring King and his concert party down.
The Takeover Panel and Scottish judiciary have failed miserably to bring King to his knees and even today his QC was pleading that there was no evidence that King was involved in a concert party…….wow, why didn’t they run with that one from the start?
It would seem that it’s not only Scottish football that’s playing to a different set of rules than everyone else, the justice system is being mocked and subverted by King as he continues to kick the ball down the road, a game that he’s well versed in.
One would think that the SFA/SPFL might have something to say about King dragging Scottish football through the mire but of course they have other problems to deal with, all of their own making.
Doncaster can’t survive the semi final farce. He’s lied through his teeth to suit his agenda.3 of the clubs have expressed their dissatisfaction about the timings, Police Scotland have finally expressed their concerns and the crap about the contractual obligation is just that.
7.45pm on a Sunday night? Unheard of in Scottish football.
The only people we haven’t heard from are BT and Rangers.
Perhaps that will change if the SPFL pay heed to Celtic’s request to draw for the venues, not that I would give much hope of Celtic finding themselves facing Hearts at Hampden.
History tells us that our football authorities can’t be trusted to make the simplest of draws without fecking it up

    • The Scottish legal system and Scottish bankers protected the Masonic Rangers/Sevco. BRITISH LAW, which General Ashley will apply might roast them all on a spit. I am 100% for Independence outside the Masonic E.U. and freedom from all Masonic influences all across Scotland.

There is not one honest man in the system. Those who are not Masonic seem to have no testicular fortitude.

BTW, why are all the judges approved top fight against GRFC, lifetime
      huns?

  5. King’s lawyers in court contesting the contempt charge. How they think they can win after the judge told him twice to buy the shares, and he still hasn’t even prepared a prospectus, beggar belief.
If he does win, then the take over panel can pack up and go home as they will have been proven toothless and this opens the door to even dodgier con men.
The establishment will win as big business can’t have King type’s ruining everything.
