Moreover, he thought that he had an agreement with the Serious Professional that any new additions to the management team would be at the youth level which he had vacated.
This was also the understanding of Director of Fantasy Mark Allen.
Therefore, it came as an unpleasant surprise to both Allen and Murty to learn that Mr Jimmy Nicholl was the new assistant manager at Sevco.
The Serious Professional was immediately contacted, but the management duo were breaking news to him!
A call was made across the Pond as it was assumed that Alastair James Johnston had sanctioned the appointment.
Apparently, apologies were in order as the USA based brogue wearing businessman had no idea what was going on.
Alas the move for Nicholl had originated south of the Limpopo.
The most upset of all was the Moderator of the Quintessentially British WhatsApp group as he thought the job was his.
For the record, young Master Murts had no issues with the appointment of Mr Moderator.
The only chap he was dead set against was Señor Ignacio Javier Gómez Novo.
Mark Allen was of the same opinion that the darling of The People had no place in the management structures.
Sadly, Nacho was a No No.
So, Mr Jimmy Nicholl, it is then.
I don’t see this ending well.
Dear reader, if I didn’t’ know any better, then I would think that Mr David Cunningham King doesn’t care that much for dressing room harmony at Sevco.

Although university educated, I found my self having to read Maryhill Bear’s post about 3 times before I could decipher the meaning. At one point Alan Turing and Bletchley Park came to mind. What size of hook were you using and breaking strain of your line?
There seems to be no point in deconstructing his nonsense as most posters have attended to it.

The Queens Park chairman saying that if Hampden is ditched as the national stadium then for the bigger Scotland matches both Celtic and Sevco will hold the SFA to ransom for the fees to stage the games, He then mentions that then in effect the SFA who govern our game would actually be giving Celtic and Rangers a sporting advantage by “paying them” to play Scotland matches on there grounds, Whereas no other clubs would be getting this money !!

Maryhill Bear. I could be wrong, but I believe such a name implies that you come from the Maryhill area. If that IS the case you are indeed fortunate. Maryhill is situated close to many excellent seats of learning. Glasgow University to name but one. I suggest you take advantage of the close proximity of some of these educational establishments to improve your literacy. However, rather than setting your sights as high as the fourth oldest University in the UK perhaps the bottom class in your local Primary school would be a better starting point. You could work your way up until you can read and write in your Queen’s English. That should keep you out of mischief for a good few years……….

I keep reading about players coming in Phil but with player budgets at a higher level than they should and lone players coming back on to pay roll. Could u say how this is going to help with cash flow at a club with no money and a king without a crown penny to rub.

The fans are grown g in restlessness with their Boardroom going by perusing their own forums.
Some of them appear to be using Mr Allan and Mr Robertson as scapegoats, but they are fast coming out of their honeymoon period with the GLIB one. Tick tock.
Given that Dave King is chairman only of the holding company, and that he has no executive role at the football playing subsidiary, I don’t see how he can legally enter into any commitments on behalf of said subsidiary. And presumably the Serious Professional who is on the board of the football playing subsidiary, and hence has certain legal obligations, is perfectly entitled by law to tell him to take a hike.
I do not see how any organisation can function with these splits in senior management. Everything points to a death spiral. At this point, and previously, the question needs to be asked, “is Sevco trading while insolvent?”
If King has not put money in, will the auditors issue a statement to preserve their professional integrity?
Directors who have provided loans, councillors who worry about stadium safety issues, ex-managers looking for compensation, suppliers who are creditors, auditors concerned about their professional integrity…..all involved in a deadly game of Ker Plunk! All afraid to be the one that pulls the final stick out that causes the lot to collapse! All of this, and more, watched over by a governance body in total silence. When will it be safe for Mrs Regan and Doncaster to appear in public? They must be suffering from prison pallor by now!
