Unpalatable truths stated to the Sevco High Command

I am afraid that there wasn’t a lot of love in the room today for the Serious Professional.

He stated to the Sevco High Command that they should put aside any ideas of catching Celtic for the foreseeable future.

Instead, he proffered that a period of consolidation would be a wiser course of action.

He said that second place in the league and the occasional cup success was the best that they could hope for given circumstances across the city.

I’m told that if looks could kill then funeral arrangements would already be in place.

His evidence-based assessment caused extreme angst to a magnificently maned factotum.

It is a sad state of affairs when stating the plain truth can make one so unpopular.

  1. Slightly off topic but has warburton and co ever been paid off or settled with the club following the resignation / sacked debacle ? Apologies if this has been raised before I just seem to have missed it !

  2. I know this is a bit off comment but the Daily Ranger “NEWS” story about “Leigh Griffith Delights in Rangers Loss” is such an UNstory it is unbelievable!! How can clicking “LIKE” on twitter equate to delight. Even more so….who cares!

  3. No one’s hiring at Sevco.

    There’s no funding to hire.

    The Accountants didn’t figure the need for it presuming Pedro wasn’t being sacked.

    So it’s £4m required Plus fees for a new management set up.

  5. It appears the new manager bounce is well and truly over.

    King’s T’Rangers suffer a 2-0 reverse to Hamilton at Ibrox proves the cold is biting deep in these Latinos.

    There’s no point in interviewing a new manager for three weeks because they don’t know if the money will arrive and they will survive November. I predict no interviews until cash lands from NOAL.

    And it will depend upon how much arrives.

    Can stv phone up founder Charles Green to get some sound bites regarding the state of his beloved club? And the elusive three wins in a row.

    The club has been shockingly embarrassing since King got his hands on it.

    • Is interviewing managers illegal if you knowingly are aware of cash flow run out in November and cannot afford wages?

      Best wait until King’s £4m is in the bank all up front.

      I’m surprised the Accountants didn’t insist on cash loan in the Sevco account BEFORE sign off on accounts.

    But only enough to finance second place!

    It needs King’s NOAL money to the value of £4m to mark time. Not to improve.

    The serious professional knows he needs much more to chase the tic.

  7. This is a message for Adrian ‘Fascism IS Left Wing’ Adrian, who’s like a pup with a bone over on the otherwise excellent ‘At The Going Down Of The Sun We Will Remember Their Crimes’ thread:

    ‘Fascism:

    A political philosophy, movement, or regime (such as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition.’

    ‘Socialism:

    A political and economic theory of social organization which advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole.’

    Now you can argue with the Merriam-Webster dictionary all you like, Adrian, but I’m sure even a fool like you can see that a nationalist race of people under the full authoritarian control of one leader is VERY DIFFERENT INDEED from the entire community as a whole owning and regulating the entire means of production.

    But, for the sake of fairness, I would like you to respond to me with an explanation of how, in your eyes, Fascism & Socialism are the same thing and how fascism is, as you put it, ‘Left Wing’, thanks.

    • You can also add which one you think is closer to the Two Party Western model we currently see before us today in our lovely Western ‘Democracy’ & ‘Freedom’ that all those folk are alleged to have died for.

  8. You really would think that at the going down of the sun and in the morning they would remember it… ie the deceased club of blessed memory….
    All these pathetic attempts to prop up the corpse speak volumes as to the state of the collective psyche of the Klan, increasingly frantic attempts to rouse the dead and all they get is the rictus grin of a decaying past rotting away as the mists of time swirl around.
    Meanwhile I’m personally loving the longest wake in history….cheers…!!!

  14. It must be a tough job trying to bring any financial sense to the peepil atop the marble staircase .
    The peepil know that a large section of the new clubs support were weaned on the teat of the old dead club during the cheating years .
    It seems to me that the vast majority of the fans of both clubs find cheating their way to titles and cups is more than acceptable .
    They do not care a jot ,how they win games or trophies ,as long as they win .
    The correct route would of course be to put in a solid foundation on which to build and safe guard the existence of the football club but we all forget this particular club is eternal and can never die .
    So no need to be prudent and spend only what you bring in ,just keep issuing those IOUs then pull the plug and billy’s yer uncle .
    Looks like sevco 2012 are in a catch 1690 situation
    Live honestly within your means and hope for the odd trophy and risk the superior peepils wrath
    or
    hawk anything not nailed down to keep up the pretence of being big hitters and hope the superior peepil don’t catch on .

  19. They are so lucky to have the exceptionally excellent one in charge. They can now look forward to maximum points against Hamilton, Dundee, and Aberdeen. After he collects his manager of the month award for November, it will only be a matter of time before graeme murty’s team will be in 1st place in the spfl

      Hamilton probably,Dundee unsure,but Aberdeen will beat them and their ‘exceptionally excellent one’ even at the bigotdome.I’ve just checked and going by the date and time of ko it will be televised,Wednesday 29th November@19:45.
      I shall enjoy that evening on the sofa,especially the after match interview with ‘McMurty’ wracking his noodle for excuses.We will see how exceptional excellent you think he is after McInnes’ Dons leave the iBoaks board members knowing that they definitely should’ve went the extra mile for McInnes.
