I’m hearing that this afternoon the Serious Professional received a difficult call from across the Pond.
Apparently, a Churchillian chap was unhappy with the current situation in the Blue Room.
However, the recipient of the call was quick to inform the transatlantic chap that he was merely an employee doing his best under difficult circumstances.
Moreover, he advised the Stateside chap that he might be better served if he contacted the dear leader south of the Limpopo with his concerns.
“This isn’t what I signed up for” was the reply from across the rough and rude Atlantic.
For the avoidance of doubt, everyone at Sevco is happy.
Incredibly so.
Got that?

I have just read in The Scotsman newspaper that a TRFC fans group is petitioning the SFA to award regional titles won by RFC during WWII to the club and these to be added to their 54 other league titles. It is a well known fact that the RFC players were granted immunity from the forces and sheltered in the Govan shipyards during the war years whilst the players from other Scottish clubs were obliged to fight for their country.
Do these people have no shame?
Was that a rhetorical question?
This is an extremely tasteless and unfortunate development.
The stupidity in this maneuver beggars belief. Is there no depth to their irreverence?
Their lack of respect towards WW2 veterans and fallen must surely receive rebuking from the Royal British Legion and ex servicemens’ clubs all over the country.
Aaahh ….. a fool and his money !
I wonder if he had the same look on his face as Kirk Broadmoor when KT’s screamer went past him?
You’ve got to feel sorry for the Transatlantic chap, haven’t you?
No.
It would seem yhere are still some gullibles out there with more money than sense
FC Barney: I love you, you love me, we’re a happy family …
Park life.
What isn’t what he signed up for?
What’s wrong in the blue room?
Is it cashflow lack of funding?
I’d really like news on Judicial Reviews and EBT titles stripping and getting Sevco declared a new club please.
Celtic blogs appear to have closed down comments totally or wrt EBTs.
It’ll be fine, I mean what could possibly go wrong?
who owns ibrox
Oh Dear!
Sad news.
Alastair sounds as though his golf handicap is suffering.
It also appears Lee McCullouch has joined Mr Super and wee Baz (in bankruptcy) as RFC legacy crap managers.
Meanwhile as Scottish Premiership teams play Scottish Premiership teams in the League Cup, Sevco are lined up against Dunfermline.
It’s the same bye to the next round as per all previous years. Crooked Scottish Football.
Watch out for BTSport live draw for next round tomorrow. Sevco really are due an SPFL top four team away from home. Will it happen?
Winston was half pond life… half quinticentialy British.. . and poor old pater died screaming in agony with syphilis …whilst mater flogged her arse hole round the elephant and castle… !!! pater died with debts worth in todays shekels circa 4 million of her Britanic majestys pound’s … and Winston was bought and paid for in 1895…. remember that when poppy day comes round… when all sorts of poor souls are remembered as heroes…. no doubt many were heroes…. but how many shot their officers in the back… because they knew that what they were being asked to do was against the laws of nature… but nothing ever changes… Winston only swerved the laws of economics by prostituting himself for corrupt lucre … again… nothing ever changes… it must be the quinticentiality that s in the water wot does it…. !!
Thanks Phil,
Nest of vipers in the boardroom.Dressing room unrest.Lying King awol as the cold shoulder bites financially. As expected the SMSM is business as usual. All good at Sevco. As Pedros mish mash of malcontents will inevitably fail pre xmas the focus will be on who replaces him.Meanwhile title stripping will not be mentioned in the media.I attended the majority of games we were cheated by SDMs mercanaries and moving on is not an option. What is to stop them doing it again?A culpable complicit SFA and journalists who happily look the other way and referees gladly assisting when their favoured team requires a helping hand. Its difficult to evoke optimism until you realise how poor they are in play and financially.Lets maximise the difference in footballing terms and in financial terms and in the difference in class in supporting terms. We are a better class of person. They know as we know it.As they know they cheated but just cant admit it.
Surely such Happy Talk should be conducted in the South Pacific, Phil?
You’ve got to have a dream. If you don’t have a dream, how’re you gonna made a dream come true? ?
At least in the musical entitled The Wizard of Oz somebody got to wear a magic hat, was full of munchkins, and Dorothy simply clicked her heels to get back to reality!
Joint top of the league (on points), what’s not to love about life for the Ibrox fanbase :>
