On Planet Fitba the use of pyrotechnics in stadia is both controversial and illegal.
However, yesterday the Sevco High Command sent up a distress flare.
I would be very amazed indeed is Mr David Cunningham King had any hand act or part in the creation of this statement.
The cynical part of me would suggest rather that it was a Blue Room production designed to flush him out.
Consequently, it can be viewed as simultaneously a challenge and a cry for help.
The photograph they selected was from March 2015, just after the Off Licence Putsch.
Of course, the promise on where the season ticket money will go is also interesting from the standpoint of Financial Fair Play (FFP).
If all of the money raised in this way is to be spent on the playing squad, they cash from another source will have to be found for other operating costs.
Sevco remains a loss-making business without a credit line from a….

The ‘fans’ of that shambles of a club deserve every knock and disappointment that comes their way! To place ANY trust in DCK and his hollow promises deserves all the pain, anguish and fake disbelief that is sure to follow!
Will the season ticket monies cover the directors loans due for repayment this December ?
It’s a non-story. The fans will read that as ‘we’re using the ST monies to buy players.’ It doesn’t say that. It says that the monies will be invested in the playing squad. It is no different to now. The ‘investment’ will be in the wage bill and associated sundries. Any new players will be a mix of Bosmans or loans. The better out-of-contract players will already have new clubs lined up. The remainder will be in one of two categories. Out-of-contract because they are very expensive (think Zlatan) or out-of-contract
because they’re hopeless (think Senderos). Loans will be much harder to arrange. Caixhina is an unknown quantity. English managers were happy to send players to Warburton; they knew him and approved of his methods. Caixhina is known in Mexico and Qatar. Hardly the obvious source of loan players.
SSSSSSHHHHHH!! Don’t tell them macdee……let them believe it whilst we all laugh, just like they believe………whisper it…….Rangers exist!!
The whole of Scottish football outside of Ibrox and the SFA are laughing constantly at every piece of nonsense surrounding this joke outfit. Everything about them, players, management, directors, but especially, every single word of their PR garbage is pure and utter farce.
Don’t give them any clues that the followers are being taken for mugs.
Apparently BFDJ said he “took the statement to mean all the ST cash would be spent on transfers”…..All £300 billion!
Then again, if I bought something from BFDJ for 1p and gave him a 2p piece, I wouldn’t expect him to get the change correct.
everyone seems to be forgetting that Red Bull will be handing over 6 million any time now for the magical Barry Mackay
Maybe they mean the season ticket sales they get to keep as they have already sold the first X0,000 tickets to a Ticketus clone?
I would have thought that Bruno Alves would take up most of the season ticket money – if that ever happens
Add to that the signing on fee for young Kenny and there’s nothing left
You could not make it up – could you?
It will be spent on the team…how else will he bills for flights&hotels be covered on Europa duties.
Not to mentionn flights/hotels for under 20’s to take on the big guns of Europe
I’m sure that Rangers PR department are being asked very hard questions by the media on this statement…..as in how in hell ‘ s name will the day to day bills be met if all the ST money is being spent on the squad?
More soft loans from a concert party that has long since kissed it’s monies goodbye with even the thought of a debt for equity swop being extinguished by the TAB ruling?
Probably not unless those who have ponied up the £15m or so, that we know of, do indeed have security over Ibrox and Murray Park!
bank.

….or anywhere else for that matter..
