Getting frantic about Donegal imposed deadlines

Word reaches me that today the good folk at Glasgow City Council wanted some information from the Sevco High Command pronto.

The local authority folk were asking after the stadium that John Brown played for.

My source stated that the George Square chaps were “frantic” in their efforts to elicit a response from the Holding Company Vehicle.

In an entirely coincidental development, I am awaiting the outcome of my appeal to Glasgow City Council on the small matter of a request for information under the  Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.

I wanted to know about the communications apropos Ibrox stadium and the Saftey Advisory Group (SAG).

Regular readers will be up to speed on this issue.

I’m awaiting their response with interest.

You see dear reader, the municipal chaps have only have a limited time to respond to my appeal.

I know the pressure that a deadline can cause.

Sure, it’s enough to make you frantic.

  1. “M.D. Cooper et al “, “transparency”, “safety culture”, “ICL”, “hse enquiry”

Just a few of the words and phrases, clearly absent from GCC lexicon, that leap to mind when contemplating this.

Wouldn’t it be disgraceful if it took tragedy to remind them. Lessons. Not. Learned.

  2. Health and Safety Executive not following up their work or was a note of satisfaction given, this is information that can be made available if someone wants to follow up.

  3. Will they do the “Bouncy Bouncy ” with the roof s about to cave in?
Wear the helmets and take safety into your own hands ( seeing as the Council refuse to do it)

  4. Surely entitlement to wear ” Hard Hats ” cannot be denied to the fans?
If the council won’t take responsibility for safety then you must be allowed to wear protection yourself – it’s definitely a ” Hard Hat ” area??
