It should be fairly clear that there is now a high-Level push against the Admirable Warburton.
I believe part of that campaign is the attempt to get Global Scout Frank McParland to Do Walking Away.
I flagged this possibility up on Twitter four days ago.
By yesterday the mainstream had caught up.
I tweeted that out because of the intervention of an impeccable source deep inside the Engine Room Subsidiary.
It was put to me today that pushing out McFarland would be a way of getting to the Admirable Warburton.
However, I’m told that the global scout is a tough negotiator, and if the Sevco High Command wants him out, then they will have to pay him off in full.
The calamitous signing that is held up as “Exhibit A” apropos underperforming by the manager and the scout should not be laid at their door.
Warburton was off the grid for over three weeks after the Scottish Cup Final when Monsieur Barton was already hired.
I am told that the French-speaking playmaker was signed to, in part, lure the ex-City trader back into the dignified fold.
If the Sevco High Command wants to dispense with the services of the Admirable Warburton and his backroom team, then that will land the Holding Company Vehicle with a seven figure bill.
For a loss making business without a credit line from a bank that is a tall order.
Payroll was met in January thanks to a loan from two directors.
This month will require similar generosity.
Of course, if the chaps in the dugout were to Do Walking Away for the love of Sevco ( i.e. with no pay off) then that would be a real bonus.
Ah yes.

I’m told that there are some in the Sevco High Command (the ones who do not pay the bills) who would love a Billy Davies and Barry Ferguson dream team.
The script writing team wouldn’t dare.

You may have noted that today the website has lost the banner adverts at the top.
This is due to some technical stuff that is well above my pay grade.
The techie folk will be working over the next few weeks to entirely re-build the site.
Issues like SSL Certificate and the latest software updates will also be addressed.
It is expensive work, but some of it is definitely overdue.
Ultimately, I’m told by the clever folk that the site will load quicker on any device over any platform.
There will be some down time, probably on a Sunday within the next fortnight as the new site is uploaded.
That should be the only interruption to this service that so many of you appear to use every day.
The traffic numbers are really quite amazing.

At no pint does he mention a Letter of Resignation. As I understand it and according to the govt uk web site, an employer must get an employee to confirm a resignation in writing. Accepting verbal resignation is not sufficient and lead to a claim of unfair dismissal.
Furthermore, I don’t believe that an agent can offer their resignation.
Either out of court settlement, which SMSM may well ignore/deny or full on court case.
Being reported that MW has contacted his solicitors and that the League Management may become involved as they have been informed. MW must be confident of his position. Doesn’t sound like he is for negotiating. It is also being reported that Sevco board spoke to someone at Southampton earlier in the month about Director of Football, and, if so is this what MW DW FMcP agent went in to talk about in order to clarify the position. Perhaps, he mentioned that there might be no compensation paid if they got another club, one showing interest who had spoke to him etc. The board might have taken this as an offer to resign.
The three amigos say they did not resign, Sevco say they did.

Warburton was on STV 6pm news today stating McParland was the best in the business and going nowhere. This was stated by commentator as a challenge to the Board.
I’m guessing the three of them are doing an Ally. Sack us and owe us the contract. We will not resign and walk away for free.

What a shocking press release, yet again. My reading of it is that StRangers have jumped on a verbal communication with a “representative” to “accept” the resignations of the 3 employees!. StRangers have no chance if this goes to an employment tribunal, they will have to pay out to all three to avoid this, so unprofessional.
