The funeral mass for ex-Celtic player Sammy Wilson will be held tomorrow in St John the Baptist Church Uddingston at 9.30 am.
The day he is laid to rest will be 57 years to the day when he scored a goal in Celtic’s 2-2 draw with St Mirren at Parkhead.

Sammy, of course, scored the first goal in the historic 7-1 League Cup victory over Rangers in 1957.
